Welcome to The Fate of Five’s first official advertising contest. More members means more characters to interact with, more people to talk to, and ultimately more fun for everyone and so participating in advertising helps you out as well as the site as a whole. But if this isn’t enough for you to spend a little time advertising, perhaps the fact that you get paid for each ad you post will!
First off, there are some rules you’ll need to follow if you plan to participate.
Now that we have the rules covered, let’s move on to what everyone’s been waiting for, PRIZES! It is a contest, after all, and contests are supposed to have prizes.
I will add up all legitimate ad totals after the contest closes on March 16th and announce the winners on March 17th. Good luck to everyone who participates!
First off, there are some rules you’ll need to follow if you plan to participate.
1. Use our ad only, and use the correct one depending on the site (proboards, invisionfree, etc.) Our ad is located here: HERE
Title your ad: The Fate of Five
2. Use your name from The Fate of Five as your guest name when you post an ad so I know YOU posted it and not someone else. If I do not recognize the name you use it will not be counted.
3. Make sure our ad is not already posted on the sites you’ve advertised on. Some sites delete all ad posts if there are multiple ads or delete all but the oldest or most recent. At least skim the ads to ensure someone else hasn’t already advertised there.
4. Follow any advertising rules that are posted. If you have any questions about rules on other sites or concerns about following them let me know.
5. DO NOT try to affiliate. Leave affiliations to the staff please, and only post advertisements.
6. Reply to this thread ONCE and modify your reply with a link to every ad you post. Note I said link to the AD not just the site. If the website moves ads after they’ve been ‘accepted’ or some such thing, you may link to the site instead, but this is the only exception. Please include the name of each site you advertise on in a manner such as this:

So that other participants can easily see where you have already advertised and won’t have to waste their time searching for an ad or accidentally posting it again.
7. Please number your ads, it makes my life a little easier XD
Now that we have the rules covered, let’s move on to what everyone’s been waiting for, PRIZES! It is a contest, after all, and contests are supposed to have prizes.
- The First Place winner will receive 5 Feathers for every legitimate ad they posted. They will also be able to make a character with one trait from the Site Shop priced 250 Feathers or less, for free.
- The Second Place winner will receive 4 Feathers for every legitimate ad they posted. They will be able to make a character with one trait from the Site Shop priced 200 Feathers or less, for free.
- The Third Place winner will receive 3 Feathers for every legitimate ad they posted. They will be able to make a character with one trait from the Site Shop priced 150 Feathers or less, for free.
- Everyone else who participates but does not place will receive 2 Feathers for every legitimate ad they posted as a consolation or participation prize. Anyone who gets at least 15 legitimate ads will earn an extra 25 Feathers on top of their 2 Feathers per ad (this does not apply to First, Second, and Third place).
