Why she was so far away from the safety of the TreeClan nursery no one but StarClan could say: because she kitted so close to the NightClan border, there was later speculation that the father of her kits was a NightClan tom, but no one had any definite answers. Born to the she-cat Willowbreeze, three tiny little scraps were born, small but healthy, though their mother could not say the same about herself. The kitting went wrong, and she died there on the Deer Path beside her newborns, not able to hold on long enough to name them – though there would've been no one to hear her even if she had. They were discovered by the then-deputy, Lionstep, and #2nd Cat, who carried the three mewling kits back to TreeClan and gave them to the queens to nurse. Neither Lionstep nor #2 Cat have a grasp of what really happened there, why Willowbreeze had kitted so far from camp, but it was not in the Warrior Code to turn away three mewling, defenseless TreeClan (whether Half-TreeClan or not) kits. What the others didn't know: The kits are not half-TreeClan, half-NightClan. They are full-blooded TreeClanners, but that doesn't mean they're in the clear. They are the offspring of Sparrowclaw and Willowbreeze, which would be all fine and dandy if Sparrowclaw didn't already have a mate and a family. They are the result of a one-night tryst, something the highly respected, well-liked Sparrowclaw regretted almost after it happened. The two had agreed to act as though it had never happened, if it weren't for three little reminders Willowbreeze started carrying. Sparrowclaw, terrified of losing the carefully constructed peace that is his life with his mate, Goldensong, resorted to drastic measures to keep his family life intact. Luring Willowbreeze to the NightClan border, the tom had intended to walk her right into a NightClan patrol. The NightClan cats killing her would've been too much to hope for, but in the likely scuffle, at least his kit problem would be solved. What he didn't plan for, however, was for Willowbreeze to start kitting on the Deer Path before the NightClan patrol had shown up. Noticing all the blood and how things weren't going well, Sparrowclaw fearfully abandoned Willowbreeze and his offspring, not telling a soul she was there. With his kits rescued in time and brought back to TreeClan camp, Sparrowclaw has been forced to watch as the three tiny results of his mistakes start to thrive within the Clan, Sparrowclaw fearful that they will one day recognize him as their father – or worse, that their mother, just before her death, had told them who he was. It doesn't help that one of the three looks exactly like him, with minor differences (eye color, a few additional markings). Sparrowclaw has been drastic before, how far will he go to keep his reputation and his secrets intact? The discoverer of the three kits, along with Cat #2, he takes it upon himself to act almost as their father as the three children of Willowbreeze begin to grow and question their origins. "Zeus" – With All the Might of the Skies in his Paws: The biggest and first born of Willowbreeze and Sparrowclaw, he is hot-headed, reckless and arrogant. The leader of his three siblings, he seems to care not for the warrior code, his only interest is one day being TreeClan's new leader. The rest of his personality is up to the adopter, though his name should have some sort of symbolism or at least be 'sky' related. "Poseidon" – The Rage of the Seas, the Beauty of the Ocean: Though often arguing with his older brother, the middle kit is independent with a mind of his own. He is stubborn, but believes in the warrior code unlike his brother. A bit of a puzzle solver, he shows potential in growing up to be not just a charismatic, highly intelligent individual, but a very popular one himself. Though always clashing with his bigger, stronger brother, his tongue is a bit sharper than any of his other siblings. The rest of his personality is up to the adopter, though his name should have some sort of relation to water. "Hades" – The Cold Black Earth, Yet Abundant with Life: the youngest brother, the respective runt of the litter, the youngest kit is quiet, with his somber dark pelt and his light eyes. He is easily cast aside by his stronger, more hot-tempered brothers, the youngest preferring to watch quietly from the shadows, his mind working even faster than the middle brother's. While the oldest disregards the warrior code, the middle brother follows it studiously, the youngest brother studies it and asks why. For all his maturity, he is actually surprisingly full of life, if anyone would stop and notice all that he had to give to his Clan. He could one day show his potential as a future Medicine Cat apprentice, should he find that the life of a warrior isn't his calling. The rest of his personality is up to the adopter, though his name should have some sort of relation to the earth, to something dark, this kit very much being the shadow of the other two, though weaker and smaller. Cat #2: Male or female, though preferably female, this cat also discovered the three kits alongside Lionstar, and frequently checks in with them (motherly tendencies to balance out Lionstar's fatherly ones). It's likely this cat with mentor one of the three. What will Sparrowclaw do when it turns out that a NightClanner may have witnessed him bringing Willowbreeze to the Deer Path? How will the kits handle finding out that their father already has a mate, and that their parents weren't the happy couple they'd always assumed them to be? Other than those things, you are free to take this plot wherever you will. Maybe one of the kits suffers a life-changing injury? Maybe one desires to join NightClan, wanting to find out who their father is? Take it where you want to![/style] TEMPLATE BY SAMARECARM OF OTE + BTN |
ADDITIONAL INFO:
1) The kits are approximately 3 moons old. They are here on a first-come-first-serve basis!
2) Anyone interested in playing cat #2, please post below! If anyone has an older cat that would would be interested in this as well, feel free to post as well. :)
3) If you want to hurry and snag kit, the quickest way to do that is by following this little code and posting it below:
I'm Snagging This Cat: Cat name here.
His/Her Name Will Be: Insert the cat's name here, if you haven't thought of one yet, that's okay, just keep me updated.
My Questions & Concerns: Leave blank if you have neither. :P
Picture: Optional, but it would be nice if you posted a picture so we can see what the cat looks like before you make them.
4) I am slightly open to gender switching on any of the kits, though you'll have to convince me why you think this tom should be changed to a she-kit. xD I'm not saying I'm against the idea, I've just always pictured these three as toms.
Thanks for reading this far! Thanks for being interested, I know you're all thinking, "oh jeez, she's back with ANOTHER plot! She hasn't even finished Lionstep's Challenge or Blood Feud yet!".
I know I know, believe you me, I'm working on it. I might even go post about Smokeface right now~ So boo to you naysayers!
x3 mkay I'm done.
Oh, extra note, but there's a reason why there are three ThunderClan icons in place of actual cat photos. Once the Three kits of Sparrowclaw and Willowbreeze have been chosen and all have pictures, I will update it with the kits' faces. ;) another reason why pics are helpful!
