Personality

epiphany is a strange cat of many varying aspects. upon first meeting him, it's easy to see him as a suave, easy-going player. he absolutely loves to flirt with just about anything with a pulse, doing his best to make his move even when it might not always be the most appropriate. thankfully, he does still at least know his limits and when no means no, but he'll always take the opportunity to shoot his shot.

when you get to know him a little better, underneath that first troublemaker layer is a much more intelligent and brotherly personality. those who know him a little bit more in-depth know that epiphany hides a rather intelligent side, learning and understanding new concepts with ease and often picking up new skills quite quickly. he can very much be described as a jack of all trades, but often hides this ability due to some underlying lack of self-confidence in others viewing him past the front that he puts on. as well, he will very often take on a protective brother type of role to those he cares most about, especially to his sisters and his friends. he wants to be the type of character that others can lean on when they have problems, but once again, has a tendency to hide this aspect of himself in having people think that he can genuinely care about others.

all of this can come together to make a character who has rather self-destructive tendencies. often, epiphany won't believe that he always deserves good things, perhaps stemming from the death of his mother and feeling as though his birth might have some sort of aspect in that. the second things start to look like they might be looking up for epiphany, he refuses to believe that it will last, and will find a way to worm his way out of it and destroy any potential good things in his future.

the first thing that one might think of when they see epiphany is that he is a very handsome cat. he absolutely loves to work this to his benefit and wears it with a strong confidence, which certainly adds to his handsome appearance. epiphany is also a little larger than average, especially in his height, standing taller than the average tom his age, which he loves to strut about. his fur is primarily a mix of a dark silver tabby, similar to that of a black tabby coat, with a fair amount of white. epiphany has white on his muzzle, chin, chest, underbelly and his paws, along with part of all of his legs. his eyes will look anywhere from a simple yellow in the sun to even a beautiful dark amber in some darker settings, though his eyes are not changing colour by any means, but simply a trick of the sun. regardless, this all piles together in a handsome young cat who has a fair amount of pride in his appearance.

History

epiphany on vagrant winds was the first born in a litter of three to whisper of fallen shadows and peaks where frost glistens, alongside his littermates purpose of sprouting seed and nightingale's song of eloquence. the birthing process ran whisper ragged, though, and it was clear that she was struggling even after she had stopped birthing. she was quite sick, running hot - which felt especially dangerous as the warmer moons were beating down on the tribe - and didn't want to be around her kittens whatsoever. each day was worse, and only three sunrises after her kitting, whisper passed.

after whisper's death, frost struggled as a father, clearly unsure of what to do without his mate, and perhaps even feeling painful memories of her passing when he looked at his kits. thankfully, the trio of kits had one another, as well as other kit-mothers who helped to care for them. outside of this, they had a rather simple kithood, playing among one another and their fellow kits.

as to-be's, epiphany became closer with his sister, purpose, as well as another to-be by the name of screeching falcon at midnight. as a to-be, epiphany was often a bit of a troublemaker, but less in terms of causing problems and more in the fact that he had a bit of a tendency to flirt with anything that had a pulse. he absolutely adored primarily flirting with their friend, falcon, who would in turn threaten to murder epiphany if he ever laid a paw on him, though it's clear to his friends that falcon may or may not actually enjoy it.

now, as a prey-hunter, epiphany has not changed much out of his ways, still a bit of a philanderer just trying to make the best of things and have a good time.
