It's still up in the air whether or not this particular relationship might become something more, but even what they have right now is worthy of a nomination. Two mollies united by their love for Birdstar, finding solace in eachother after his sudden death, and Ebonyheart having his kits and giving them to Icefang to raise.
Circumstance may have brought it about, but it's undeniable that these two are family through and through and would fight tooth and nail for eachother. I'm still holding my breath (as a huge EbonyIce shipper) as their kits grow up, hoping that maybe these two might catch feelings... you never know!
Leopardheart and Windspirit met as naive apprentices on the border between their Clans. An immediate connection was struck between the two young sweethearts, but the rules of putting your Clan first held them back at the start. After a second chance meeting where both had a run-in with a fox, Leopardpaw and Windpaw became firm friends. The meetings gradually became more and more frequent, with both growing closer and closer.
Both young lovebirds got their warrior names, and not long afterward, Leopardheart proposed. Windspirit's pregnancy came as a surprise, and Leopardheart was forced to face the consequences of their relationship as he decided to leave his Clan behind to be there for his family. Now in a totally new environment, with a totally new role, Leopardheart and Windspirit are working hard to be the best parents that they can.
From the start, Riverheart and Rustfeather have been an adorable pairing. They grew up together, with Riverpaw developing his very first hopeless crush on the young molly. When she chose the path of a medicine cat, she had no idea that Riverpaw was secretly broken-hearted, at both that there was no hope of being together in the future and that they would not be training together. Still, the two remained friends, with Rustpaw entirely oblivious to the nature of Riverpaw's feelings.
Now adults, I can't help but wonder if Rustfeather will begin to notice where Riverheart's heart truly lies? And if that is the case, will she deviate from the medicine cat code like so many other medicine cats before her?
