Cardinal the Rogue

I'm always a sucker for the darker characters, and Gem's Cardinal has always intrigued me. He's your classical murder-cat with a twist, he lacks the typical arrogance of a warrior cat killer. I also love the creativity of his name being a play on the phrase "cardinal sin".

I really want to see him in action more often because the way Gem writes him is genuinely spooky. I love reading his thought process and how chilling the way he sees the world is.

Cloudtail of GorgeClan

Cloudtail has been one of my favourite characters to read this year. Jos writes him perfectly and I love that she is not afraid to let him be himself, even when sometimes that involves displaying a more flawed side of the character. He always has good intentions in serving his Clan and has recently been grappling with a lot of the beliefs he held back when he was a StoneClan cat.

I have enjoyed his character arc of slowly learning to appreciate that birthplace is not everything, and look forward to seeing how he manages as deputy of the newborn GorgeClan.

Murkpaw of GaleClan

Murkpaw has made me laugh 100 times over. He is so, so silly but so so sweet. The perfect combination for an endearing character. Murk, if anything happens to him I will be so upset!! Please keep this little harebrain safe and happy.

He should definitely get featured because it is so rare that people manage to write a genuinely funny and less serious character, and it is such a treat to read his posts.
