As his array of laughter withered, a genuine smile plastered amongst his countenance, casting his gaze to all the brilliant greens of Greenleaf foliage illuminated by sunny rays. The light appeared dappled due to the environment he was shrouded in, alleviating that the sun couldn't entirely pierce his gaze. Cardinal wasn't at his weakest point, but it certainly wasn't his greatest. The menace of a feline was desperate to shed blood, mind stirring at the thought of murder. He didn't typically express himself so openly, a grimace furnishing his facade, finding himself lurching from his firm clasp into the loamy soil beneath him. He slowly descended onto the ground, lying on his left side and then rolling onto his back. Get up, Cardinal, you're acting a fool! He admonished himself, quickly leaping to his paws as he foraged for the headwater, assuming he could be parched. A drink, yes. He continued on his path, carrying himself more confidently, auditories oscillating at the sound of nearly silent pawsteps, rustling the leafy overgrowth. "I hear you," His vocalizations uttered, much more bitter than his disheveled, 'humorous' moments prior. That was humiliating, how he'd been displaying himself. "It'd be a pleasure if I could see who you are; I intend no harm. I believe you smell of GorgeClan-- I certainly understand my position here and will gladly excuse myself." A whimsical grin crossed his maw, his looming stature forming a large shadow as he awaited a response or visual.
"I SHED BLOOD FOR YOU, MY LOVE."

ardinal's lengthy appendages dragged sluggishly, his digits narrowly lifting from the terra firma beneath him, feathery tail wavering as he ascended. The tom hadn't slept for a few days, absentmindedly meandering throughout the region he now lived in. It's been about nine moons since the Earthquake struck, eroding the land and constructing something reinvigorated and beauteous. Cardinal's glaucous vision flickered from left to right as he ambled through the lush environment with rampant development, pausing for a moment to take a whiff and settle into his surroundings. His whiskers twitched as he inhaled softly, taking in the sweet aromas of Greenleaf, with the blossoming nature amidst him. Nearby, he listened as the water trickled on an incline, or so it sounded as such. The tomcat had been fasting for a few days, keeping himself journeying on his toes, feeling vulnerable in the present. He hadn't typically moved for too long, discovering shelters around the perimeters and at sundown. Cardinal swallowed thickly, oh, what have I done this time? I must be losing my sanity. A deep, husky chuckle escaped the tom's mandibles, followed by a slightly longer snicker. He probably looked like he'd lost his mind, tail coiling before his giant paws, and sheathed beneath them were consistently sharpened talons. "This is speaking."
