Personality

when you first meet orchidpaw, she can be a lot to take in. this she-cat is often full of energy and excitement, it seems as though she could run the entire length of the valley and back again while still having the energy to do a hunting patrol. granted, they can also be rather impulsive and unobservant, sometimes doing things without realizing that there could be consequences: they'll often just do them because it seems like a fun idea, forgetting about whether or not there might be a downfall with their plan in the near future. orchidpaw couldn't hold a grudge if they tried - which on one hand means that she is easy to make friends with, but on the downside means that sometimes they can forget the importance of the warrior code when it comes to friendships with cats from other clans. she doesn't always understand why everyone can't just live together peacefully as one big family, wishing she wouldn't ever have to fight her friends over something dumb like prey or borders.

while orchidpaw is a rather average-sized cat, they have a very child-like way to how they carry themself and in the way that their eyes twinkle. her fur is mainly a ginger tabby colour, but she also has patches of white around her muzzle (with a small orange patch at the end of her nose), on her chest, along her underbelly, and on each of her paws. her amber eyes always seem bright and full of life. when orchidpaw has a clean coat, she could even be seen as rather pretty, but it's more likely that she'll bound into camp covered in something, whether that's leaves, snow, grass, or even dirt. they don't tend to take great care of their fur, often due to the fact that they're too busy bounding around looking for fun and excitement and the next thing that they can do.

History

orchidkit was born to rainclan couple lightpelt and bramblevine alongside her sisters, magnoliakit and dahliakit. their parents doted over the three sisters, often happily teaching them how to stalk or hunt when they asked, and more often than not having the time and energy to play pretend with their lovely little litter. lightpelt often had to keep an eye on her second daughter, orchidkit, who was often bound to get into trouble. it was clear the kit was never intentionally trying to cause mayhem, but rather, simply that she was rather impulsive and mischievous, an absolute bounding ball of energy who got bored rather quickly and would make entertainment for herself. of course, the elders didn't find the kit biting on their tails all that entertaining, nor did the warriors who had to help her down after climbing on top of the nursery.

it was shortly after becoming apprentices that the earthquake hit. the family was incredibly lucky not to have any devastating losses, though the sisters weren't truly able to start their training as they were supposed to. it had been frustrating for orchidpaw, who was clearly itching to finally get out and run around and burn some energy to have to wait. soon enough, the family settled into mistclan, and the training could get started.
