camellia is a cat who holds herself in high regard, sometimes seeing herself as better than those around her. she is a very charming young cat, always working hard to get the attention of others in any way she desires, whether it be through her beauty or through her talents and skills. she has a strong sense of self-confidence, believing that she can do anything that she sets her mind to, while also being realistic and knowing where the line is of what is and is not possible. but she knows and believes that she can continue to push herself.[break]

yet, with such a strong sense of self-confidence also comes a strong sense of judgement towards others. camellia can sometimes look down on other cats who she deems as less worthy, which can be easy for her to decide when she seems rather arrogant and self-important. with an outspoken personality, she can be a bit blunt, to put it lightly.

lone camellia in the sun is a beautiful ginger tabby she-cat. she takes a lot of pride in her looks and beauty, and spends a fair amount of time grooming herself whenever she has a moment so she can maintain a certain standard. camellia carries herself in a rather feminine manner, though her looks can easily be deceiving. she takes the idiom "looks that can kill" rather seriously, hoping to let her beauty distract so she can go in for a killing blow. camellia also has amber eyes, somehow both soft but also pointed, always attempting to use her gaze to throw off others by making them feel that she can stare into their soul with enough time.

History

lone camellia in the sun was born alongside her sister, doe that never slumbers. the two were born to prey-hunter shadow of soaring eagle, who clearly had no want for kits outside of contributing to the tribe as she felt she was dutifully supposed to. camellia did her best to try and get to know her mother, but eagle was rather standoff-ish to the kits, returning to becoming a prey-hunter as soon as she was able to. their father, glory of morning sun, was not much different, though he seemed to dote on his daughters a bit more than their mother did.[break]

wanting to find some sort of connection or way to give her mother some pride in her kits, camellia longed to become a cave-guard. she had overheard as a kit that eagle wanted to become a cave-guard more than anything, but had failed her rite and became a prey-hunter instead. so, small camellia did what she could to prove that she could become a cave-guard to-be.[break]

after the earthquake with the arrival of a handful of clan cats, camellia took after her mother, feeling somewhat proud in her status as a full-tribe cat, and feeling rather apathetic towards the clan cats. she tried to keep her feelings to herself, though, knowing better than to be outspoken about such beliefs in a tribe that is supposed to be accepting of all. when the majority of the clan cats left, camellia was finally able to get into her training, where she was given her own uncle, rooster, as her guide to become a cave-guard.
