Description:
Fluffy is beyond the word for the large tom Lionheart. Paired with a broad-shouldered and muscled frame, the tom appears absolutely huge. From afar, he looks like a force to be reckoned with due to his size alone. The long fur that graces this large bod is a creamy tabby color with varying shades of light oranges and tans. He definitely stands out against the darker colors of the forests the tom calls home. His pale yellow eyes blending in with his lighter coloring. His nose almost a pink-orange shade on his large muzzle.
While average in height, this tom is hefty for a tom his age. It's not that he is overweight, by any means, but his broad-shoulders give him a wider stance. He also prides himself on keeping up his strength and doing things that test his muscles. So this tom couldn't look smaller even if he tried his darndest. His genetics just would not allow such a thing. But the one disadvantage that hurts this toms ability is his speed. He is not the fastest fellow and can seem sluggish when he runs. So he has to revert to more clever methods of hunting or fighting.
Description Summary:
A large, cream colored tabby tom with pale yellow eyes.
Personality:
Lionheart is generally described as the strong, silent type of cat. While others will get into debates over things like politics or their next meal, Lion sits back and berates them inside his head. He has never been the one for clan drama and finds that keeping to himself is usually the best course of action. It's not so much that he finds expressing oneself weak but more so that it can cause more trouble than it's worth. So he has learned over the moons he's been alive to just keep his mouth shut and only give others his opinion if the situation is serious enough to call for it. That and he's just too proud a cat to admit when he likes certain things or disagrees with something. It's that manly "I have a rep to protect" kind of deal for him.
While he may not physically speak most of the time, the tom's loyalty to his clan speaks for itself. Lionheart goes out of his way to take care of his clan by either bringing in extra prey when possible or even stepping in to train apprentices when they need guidance. He goes above and beyond to keep his clan as strong as possible whether he believes their "leaders" are helping or not. Treeclan is mighty and he intends to be there every step of the way to ensure they stay that way. This being said, he frowns greatly upon anyone that shows any signs of being weak or questionable for the clan. So while he doesn't take too kindly to cats without Treeclan blood in their veins, he wouldn't look down on them as long as they prove themselves a strong member of the clan. He might be a little cavalier with his opinions on who is best for the clan but he will still protect the cats in it with his life. If the clan is threatened in any way, usually this tom makes the rash decision to rush in to help. Seemingly without a fear of dying, the tom has been known to go head first into fights with larger opponents just for his fellow clanmates. So he has been viewed as very foolish in this matter.
A downfall to his silence is his unknown fear of...well, the feels. Lionheart has a hard time coping with his feelings and any sort of emotions he feels towards others. While he is able to handle the emotions in certain situations, expressing them towards another feline is another story. Other than his family, he's never held any serious feelings for another feline (friendship or otherwise). Even his mentor felt more like an acquaintance over a friend to the tom. So when it comes to making friends, the tom is lacking on the social skills. He goes from the strong silent one to stumbling over his words and not being able to form a full sentence. So he can be quite the tough egg to crack if a cat shows an interest in conversing with him or trying to get close.
History:
Kestrelfeather and Gorgefall became parents of three kits in Treeclan. The first was a she-cat they named Lynxkit. The second was dubbed Lionkit for his creamy pelt. The third of them being Cougarkit, a smaller tom. Lionkit was by far the largest of the three kits, even from the start. He had a strength he really couldn't control and was known to sort of throw himself about. During this time, the tom connected pretty well with his younger brother, the two play fighting a lot and testing one another. Their sister would typically spend her time at the den entrance just watching the hub-bub of camp. Lionkit usually did not disturb her out of sheer respect for the she-cat. The two of them were also close but she did not partake in play unless her mother gave her no other choice. Most typically the two would cuddle up to one another and she would tell him of the things she saw late at night before they would sleep. So he connected to her on a more mental level while being more physical with their younger brother.
At 6 moons, the three were named apprentices. Lionpaw, as he was called, was given to a bold warrior named Bearclaw. Bearclaw was a broad-shouldered fellow who also relied on his strength to make it. So the leader felt it best for Lionpaw to learn from a tom of similar stature in this case. The two of them hit it off fairly well, grappling and wrestling one another often. The fighting was where Lionpaw excelled above his fellow apprentices, using his strength to overpower them most of the time. However, it was easy to notice his overall lack of speed. Some of the smaller apprentices would get the jump on him due to this slowness. So for many moons, they focused on ways to get around being such a tank. Bearclaw would teach him clever tricks to land prey or ways to use speed against the opponent. And the one apprentice that helped him out the most was his sister, Lynxpaw. Her mentor had essentially stopped training her to fight due to her aggressive nature. So she had to rely on him to help her, which he did without a fuss. Then, one day while out sparring with Bearclaw, a patrol had come their way trying to rush to camp. Lynxpaw's mentor Harefoot was severely injured and being dragged along by a single warrior. Lionpaw and Bearclaw assisted in getting the tom back to camp. Once there, he asked about his sister and if she was there. The other warrior stated that Lynxpaw went crazy and attacked Harefoot. He then went on to describe her yelling about being controlled and the clan wanting her to be someone she wasn't before she left. Lionpaw, while upset that his sister left, did not try to go after her. He loved his sister but he also knew how ruthless she could be when provoked. So he felt it best to leave her be for awhile, allow her to calm herself and get settled. Only then did he intend to try and seek her out. He continued on with his training, trying to be strong for the clan and his sister. At 12 moons, he was dubbed Lionheart for his bravery and loyalty. At this time, his sister's mentor was also moved to the elder's den, her injuries causing him a lot of troubles and forcing him to join the ranks of the elders.
At 32 moons, while out on a stroll by himself, Lionheart come across his sister. She went on to tell him that she had settled in a den for the time being, renaming herself Odessa. She then went on to describe what happened and the two went on like they used to. They talked about plots, cats that didn't deserve to be in Treeclan, he even agreed to be there for her if he was able. He did, however, inform her that he would always be loyal to Treeclan regardless of any plots afoot. While not so happy by this, she respected him for that. The two meet every so often on the border now, keeping each other updated on the things they've seen.
Notes:
Due to the history with his sister, he did not support or take too kindly to Lionstep/star. Making him among the group that felt Treeclan was weaker under the tom's rule. Now with Puma at the helm, he believes some good might become of the clan.
