Name: Ebony Shadows on Bright Feathers

History: Ebonykit was born in a litter of three to Darkblaze and Silvermist, two NightClan warriors, early in Leaf-bare Year Four. Her siblings were Brightkit and Shadekit, a sister and brother, and they were loved and adored by their parents. Sadly, just a couple moons after their birth, illness claimed both Silvermist and Brightkit, leaving Shadekit and Ebonykit in their father's care. Darkblaze raised his kits as best he could, sheltering them to the best of his abilities. Shadekit and Ebonykit made it to their apprentice ceremony, but that same moon, tragedy struck them yet again. At his very first Gathering, Shadepaw's young life ended at the jaws of a fox.
Darkblaze was understandably devastated, and with his estranged brother supporting him, made the decision to move himself and Ebonypaw to the mountains. They joined the Tribe, where Darkblaze could stay with his brother and hopefully escape the ghost that lingered in NightClan's pine forests. Ebonypaw accepted her new name, suggested by her father, with little fuss, as it was something that could honor both of her lost siblings, as well as the aunt she had lost well before her birth. It was an important thing for her father, so she happily went from Ebonypaw to Ebony Shadows on Bright Feathers. She was less happy, however, to be confined to the cavern the Tribe called home for another three months, having already enjoyed the slight freedom being an apprentice had given her. But the worry in her father's face every time they argued about it silenced her fairly quickly.
At nine moons, she finally regained a small amount of freedom, and started her training as a Cave-Guard To-Be. It's still a little strange to be learning only battle and protection techniques without hunting, but she's trying to keep an open mind to the Tribe's strange ways, and if they've been established for so long and still surviving, then something must be working, right?
Since arriving at the Tribe, she's adjusted well, succeeding in becoming a fully-fledged Cave-Gaurd and quite enjoys life in the mountains. She still vaguely remembers the life she left behind, but has little interest in going back. Her Papa brought her here for a reason, and as long as they get to stay together, everything will be fine.
