Name: Pebbleshade
Age: 25 moons
Gender: Tom
Clan: None
Rank: Loner
Picture:
Description: Named for his small, frail body, and his dark pelt, Pebbleshade. His pelt lets him blend in with the dark easier, just how he likes it. He can move about silently, a lot of the time without being noticed. This tom has beautiful, bright green eyes, that only seem to glow brighter at night. No stranger to rough battle, Pebbleshade has scars along his sides, and down his legs, though he isn't proud of them. His coat is short, and unusually soft for a cat with so many scars. His white markings are discolored with dirt, partially due to the fact that he doesn't groom his pelt like he should.
Description Summary: A small, short furred, black and white tom with green eyes.
Personality: Pebbleshade is very intuitive. He sometimes does certain things over just a simple bad feeling he had, even if it doesn't make sense to others.
However, because of this, he is also very strategic. He always has a plan for everything he does, even if it doesn't seem like it, or he knows it will take him nowhere in the long run.
Some would say Pebbleshade is also very sweet, though that would just be very few. He makes sure to be as gentle as possible whenever he can, and to give out as much love as possible, whenever it's possible.
This little tom is also very anxious. He has had quite a few run ins with bad cats, some he trusted, and also some he didn't. Either way, every time he finds himself in a bad situation, or even just one that's not pleasant, he starts to feel very anxious.
He can also be childish at times. He never truly grew up from his apprentice days, and sometimes forgets he's supposed to be. He always feels nostalgic about it, even though it also brings just as many bad memories as good memories.
Pebbleshade is impatient. He hates his time being wasted, and if he feels like his time is being wasted, he will move on to something else in a heart beat, without any hesitation at all.
If this tom doesn't know you, he may seem very reserved. He doesn't really share his thoughts or feelings on things, because he feels as if they don't matter anymore anyway. If he does share anything with anyone, that means they are very special to him.
When he needs to be, Pebbleshade can be very sly. He doesn't worry about the consequences, either. As long as he gets what he wants, he doesn't really care what happens to him later on, because he would just deal with it when the time comes.
Petty. Yes, he can be very petty. Though, he wouldn't admit it. If you had stolen a piece of prey of his 10 moons ago, he would still be plotting ways to take something from you, just to see your face when it happened. He always has to get the last word in some way, even if it's something subtle such as an eye roll or a groan.
History: Pebbleshade was born in Lightningclan, by two warriors. He was their only kit, though they didn't seem to take very much liking to him. Usually he was pawned off on other warriors or queens to watch. Honestly, he didn't mind it too much. Whenever they were around, they seemed too controlling of his behavior, and wouldn't let him do normal things a kit would do. Most may think it was being over protective, but it's not what it felt like to him. If they wanted to be over protective, wouldn't they be around as much as possible? He could see right through it, even though he was just a kit. He hoped and wished for nothing more than a real family.
When he was an apprentice, and finally free from his parents predictive, controlling behavior, it still didn't get much better. His mentor felt almost the exact same, just more straight forward. He didn't even try to hide it, it seemed. He had dreamed of running away from the clan, and starting a new life plenty of times, but he was too terrified to even try. He was growing closer to Birchspots, and he knew it would hurt him if he were to just suddenly disappear. He wanted to do nothing more than rid the clan of all of their wrong doings, but he couldn't. He didn't have a plan for that, or the muscle. He felt like he had nothing except those he cared for.
After Pebbleshade became a warrior, he started feeling more distant. He could run away at any time, and there would be no one to stop him this time. It wasn't long after they all three had become warriors, one after another, that both Pebbleshades mentor and Birchspots mentors had died.
He didn't have to worry about them anymore. The constant bullying from them was over, and Pebbleshade finally felt free. Pebbleshade didn't care at all, why should he? They had bought nothing but pain and suffering into his and Birchspots lives, just after he thought he was free from it. He finally felt as if he could do whatever he pleased, even though he could ever since he had become a warrior. He knew he had to leave, he had planned it ever since he was an apprentice. He just didn't have the strength to until then, and he also felt like he wanted to prove it to his old mentor, and his parents, dead or alive, that he wasn't weak. He wanted to prove it to himself as well. He wanted to prove it to everyone that had ever doubted him.
When he told Birchspots, he asked to come with him, but Pebbleshade wouldn't allow him to. He had to be on his own, for as long as it took. He felt like he had left everyone else to deal with their problems on their own, so why should he have help? Was he that weak?
As the moons passed, he felt more and more lonely, gaining and losing friends, getting into scraps and even full on battles. He had changed, and he didn't know if he would ever be the same again.
