Name: Privetshade
Age: 12 moons
Gender: tom
Clan: NightClan
Rank: Warrior
Picture:
Description: Compared to his siblings, Privetshade is a rather small cat. However, when not compared to them, he is a rather tall and lanky cat. Having gone through training, Privetshade has rippling muscles throughout his long legs, which probably account for at least half of his body mass.
His fur is rather soft since it has retained some of his initial fluffiness, yet his face is angled and sharp. In the darkness, it is hard to tell, but Privetshade has faint tabby markings that become apparent in the sunlight. He has white accents all over his body, including his feet, his chest, and his stomach.
As he has aged, Privetshade's stutter has decreased tremendously. However, in tense situations - or any situation that flusters him - Privetshade finds himself slipping back into old habits in which he noticeably stutters.
Description Summary: A stammering small black tom with green eyes.
Personality:
+ Scholarly
Privetshade has a very scholarly mind, full of curiosity and constantly thinking and connecting the dots about the world around him. As he has grown, he has become acutely intelligent and very aware of it, always up to challenge others to a debate. He is by no means a wise cat, but by Starclan, he is a smart one.
+ Quiet bravery
Privetshade may not look like the type of cat to jump into battle headfirst, but his bravery is on par with his fellow Nightclanners. He is the type of cat who will be the first to step forward into an unknown situation and risk his life for his clan. This bravery is fueled by his constant belief that things will turn out okay.
+/- Optimistic
Despite facing the hardships that come with being the runt of the litter, Privetshade has not lost his optimism as he has grown. While this can often be seen as a good thing, this can sometimes make the defeats hit even harder. Privetshade's optimism gives him the highest highs, but his lows in the face of defeat have continued to get lower.
- Self-critical
While he is not one to judge others, the blunt of Privetshade's negativity gets dumped on himself. Even when Privetshade is successful in situations, he can always find something that he did wrong to fixate on. He claims that this will make him a more capable warrior, but it is not good for him in any way.
History:
Kithood~
From the beginning, Privetkit was different. The smallest of Sootfeather's litter, he always had to struggle to keep up with Cinderkit and Gracklekit. He never saw his size as an issue, however, and soon found himself leading some of the charges into trouble. However, whenever he found himself getting in trouble, Privetkit's stutter would make him almost incomprehensible.
Apprenticeship~
Privetpaw only continued to realize his apparent ineptitude compared to his siblings as they were thrust into the brute of their training. Physically, he could never hope to keep up with them. However, that was not the worst of it: Privetpaw soon discovered that he was fostering mental blocks as well that filled him with an inability to try certain things, putting him behind. With constant work and a quiet determination, Privetpaw soon learned that his mental blocks could be worn down, his bravery becoming on par with his siblings. Privetpaw went from being weak and restrained to being weak and free. During his apprenticeship, Privetpaw learned quite a few lessons: 1, he will never be as good a fighter as the other Nightclanners; and 2, his lack of strength in fighting can be made up in other ways. Privetpaw's long legs that used to make him clumsy soon became what made him one of the fastest cats and best climbers in the clan. His inquisitive mind, constantly berating his mentor and other Nightclanners with questions, became sharp and clear.
Warrior~
Upon being named Privetshade, the scrawny black cat realized that he is just as useful to the clan as his two siblings, even though it is in different ways. This awakening helped Privetshade to see the world in a brighter way: he now views every misfortune as a blessing in disguise (seeing as his apparent "weakness" helped him grow into the capable cat he is today).
