You stumble to your feet, unsure where you are or how you even got there. As you stand shakily, you see two cats off in the distance, an orange marbled Somali seems to be speaking with a smaller reddish black shecat. This would not be unusual to you, if these cats hadn't been wearing what they were. Their various colorful trinkets and leather straps catching you off guard as they both turn to look at you, the molly's eyes hidden behind a wolf skull, the somali's glinting with ambition.
Spotting the gold glinting from each apparent leader's ear, your eyes widen, and you back up, only to run into a solid chest of golden fur, the color of the midday sun. Kind golden eyes stare down at you, before observing the cats once more. Looking around, you notice a soft white shecat smiling gently at you, a stern cream shecat glaring sharply at the Somali, and a regal black tom shaking his head. Finally, the golden tabby speaks.
"Do not worry, child. There will be no fight today. Instead, you will be deciding your new home. Welcome to γάτα, mortal. We hope you live your life to the fullest."
Welcome to the world of γάτα, set in the area of pre-ancient Greece, before Humans had come into existence. Four Gods rule over the two clans of cats, and, with the help of the Demi-Gods, control and govern the lives of those living in this place.
You have the choice between the smaller, more solemn and closer-knit Vounó, who go on regular events called Wolf Hunts, and fend for themselves in the mountains of the area, sporting leather and belt accessories and often proudly wearing the skulls of their kills.
Or the Nisí, who live peacefully on the islands, and generally only get into conflicts when they go to the mainland. They have a bit more freedom, and are larger, but tend to hit internal conflict because of the size. These cats sport shell and flower decor mostly, but will trade with their mountain counterparts for leather.
Our site, as well as being very lax with most of the rules and creation laws, also sports quite a few custom features. We have custom skills, with a level system and abilities gained based on level, and we also have NPC fights on a random timer, and a self-made calculator to roll for actions with NPCs. We also have the barter function, which allows for intricate communication and interaction between clans and even rogues.
