Foxstar had been feeling antsy lately and now she needed to get out and do something productive before whatever had her so anxious made her lash out at her clanmates. Times like this made her feel the burden of being leader that much more keenly than she ever had before. Even though she had settled into the position somewhat, it had still been much too soon for her and she sometimes longed for the days when she was merely the Deputy and the safety and well-being of the entirety of NightClan didn't rest solely in her paws. 

It wasn't like she could talk to anyone about her worries though. She was leader and couldn't afford to show weakness when things were still so unsteady. She had to keep her mind on  her plans for the future; even as they included a potential alliance with another clan. The issue of TreeClan had to be dealt with, and she couldn't afford to wait any longer. Her sense of honor had prevented her from striking during Leaf-Bare when the clans were at their weakest, but now with New-Leaf things were different.

She was nervous about the plans she'd made and how they'd go over, but she was confident something could be agreed upon. It benefited both clans, after all. Pushing her mind away from the future, Foxstar decided a border patrol was the best thing for her anxious mind. Calling on those she wished to come with her, Foxstar headed for Deer Path and the border between NightClan and TreeClan. She was almost itching for something to happen just to get her mind off the things bothering her, but she didn't want any of her clanmates getting hurt so she pushed the selfish thought aside. She would be calm.

"You need a hand to hold."
