Name: Shadeheart
Age: 0 moons
Gender: She-cat
Clan: LightningClan
Rank: Warrior
Picture:
Description: Shadeheart’s pelt is dominated by white, a snowy shade of short fur. Black mixes in at seemingly random places: along her head, it is parted by a stripe of white, both sides darkened from eyes to ears to cheeks, but the white stripe ends just before her ears, giving way solely to black.
Along her body, black splashes appear without purpose, jagged edges and smooth curves contrasting to the stark white. Her tail is entirely black, each paw white. Her nose is a typical pink; her eyes will be mostly black, her pupils dilated as a sign of her blindness, with a small ring of leaf green framing the outside edge.
Shadeheart will grow into a lean-framed cat, never growing much muscle, giving her more of an edge as a hunter than as a fighter. She’ll serve her Clan as a guard, rather than hurling herself into fights. Her stride is a normal one, her memory of the position of the dens giving her confidence within the Clan’s camp, but it grows a touch more wary once out in the forest, and she tends to take small steps, doing her best to keep from tripping over what debris lies on the forest floor.
Description Summary: Lean black and white she-cat with eyes dominated by dilated pupils, a ring of pale green around the edge
Personality: Shadeheart is a cheery cat from the first, full of questions about everything. An insatiable curiosity about the world, from scents to sounds to sights, will reveal her blindness. It won’t slow her down much, her other senses becoming stronger to make up for her lack, and she’ll be as playful and energetic as the other kits in the nursery.
She might well grow to be a bit of a pest when she first springs free of the nursery, getting under warriors’ paws and showing off a nosiness that might ruffle a few pelts, but she’s only curious. To the elders, she’ll develop a close bond for their willingness to indulge her, telling her everything she wants to know, and for their wonderful stories. She’ll be just even closer with her family, (if a bit cheeky at times as she gets older). And just like her brother and sister, she’s looking forward to becoming an apprentice and learning more about the world outside the camp.
History: Shadeheart doesn’t have much history- but her parents have plenty. A rather unorthodox sort of attraction binds the two, but the love they have for each other is real, and it has extended to the three kits Palescreech brought into the world. Both parents will be protective over all of them, firm and guiding but not overly harsh, nor a smothering sort that keeps the kits afraid to do things for themselves.
Shadeheart will learn quickly that despite her disability, there’s no reason to let it hinder her. With the support of all her family, and the push she may need at times, she’ll fight to make herself a place, and who cares what the naysayers think?
