Age: 58 moons
Gender: Tom
Clan: NightClan
Rank: Senior Warrior

Description: Spiderbite is a very large tom cat with a bulky build. He definitely looks intimidating by nature. However, he is pretty bland when it comes to his appearance. His fur color is mainly black with a white muzzle, chest, stomach, and four white paws. His coat length is extremely long and thick, especially in leaf-bare. Once it was sleek and well groomed, but now that he is aging the maintenance of it is less looked into and it's beginning to show mats, especially on his back and underbelly. Like most cats, Spiderbite has amber eyes. The one and probably only thing that really stands out about this tom is his extremely long whiskers. They tend to stretch almost four inches off his face and are pure white in color. He also has two or three strands of hair that come out from above his eyes, and black ear tufts.
Spider, for his black fur.
Bite, for his temper and sharp tongue.
Description Summary: A large black tom cat with white markings and amber eyes.
Personality: Back in the days of his youth, Spiderbite was a force to be reckoned with. He got his name specifically for his hot-temper and sharp tongue, always ready to shout insults and vulgar words to any cat that made him angry. He was eager for a fight and would do just about anything to get his claws into another cat. Spiderbite was a trouble maker in his apprenticeship and his early warrior hood, constantly picking fights on the border or going out of his way to start a bickering at the gatherings. It was easy to say he was out of control and didn't respect anyone - not even his elders.
He spent the majority of his life like this. Fighting with strangers and pushing away any cats that tried to get close to him. Of course like most cats do, he mellowed out quite a bit as he got older. Though, in his experiences he has drawn himself a lot of enemies and rivalries, even in his own clan. Today, Spiderbite is still pretty quick to anger and spit insults at others, but his decision making has definitely gotten much better. He has learned through his time alone and the few apprentices that he has been given that living your life in unprovoked anger really isn't the best way to go.
Now a senior warrior of his clan, Spiderbite really is quite alone in the world, even surrounded by other cats. He secretly would love a family and some friends to share tongues with, but StarClan help him that he will never say something like this out loud or agree if another cat brings it up. Though, he is much more laid back and good to come to with advice. As long as you come to him without judgement, he is more than willing to give you advice or even just a chat.
History: The beginning of life for this tom was just as basic as it could get. His parents were named Ravencall and Hawktalon, and he and his siblings were the first litter between the two. Spiderkit was the second born with a first-born sister (Antkit) and a runt brother (Cricketkit). All though their parents were extremely strict and unrelenting with everything they did, the kithood was pretty good. Antkit and Spiderkit were always getting into trouble, especially when their mother was trying to sleep and they found it the perfect time to adventure outside the nursery and around the camp. However, nothing too bad came of this- mainly because Antkit always chickened out or the cat on night guard would eventually catch them.
It's easy to say, strict parents made sneaky kits and this definitely carried with Spiderpaw into his apprenticeship. By this time, Cricketpaw had joined into the trouble-trio of the family and were out to cause mayhem to their mentors. They were definitely a handful and Spiderpaw got into a dispute with in the gathering which cause a fight (no claws unsheathed, but still) and he was dragged home by his ear (pretty much literally) by a senior warrior. The antic was the reason his warrior ceremony was postponed and he had to watch his siblings earn their warrior name and sit vigil without him. Of course, he was extremely upset about this, but what could he do? Any more negative feedback would just make him wait longer. All though it wasn't his siblings fault, he did hold a cold grudge against them for allowing themselves to become warriors without him, but deep down he knew this was all on his shoulders, not theirs. He would have done the same thing.
Two moons later, at 14 moons, Spiderpaw finally earned his warrior name - Spiderbite. It fit well and he definitely carried it around with a lot of pride. Especially when his siblings only got Antfur and Cricketleap, which in his mind were 'boring' names. However, with the tree of them finally warriors, Spiderbite began to rekindle the relationship with his siblings, especially with Antfur. Most of the time, the two of them were nearly inseparable, causing a small jealousy to form in their brother. This would all change when Antfur took on a tom, Bramblesplash, as her mate and was expecting kits. The gooey and mushy contact between the two was enough to drive the black tom mad and he eventually began to spend less time with them all together. He became a loner in his own clan. The cats he had screwed with and teased as an apprentice/young warrior resented him and usually gave him the cold shoulder. Anyone who he had been close with, he had gradually (unintentionally) pushed away. So when his brother took on a mate as well (though no kits as of yet) he was pretty much alone in the world, not even his parents really bothered wit him.
Being the stubborn tom he was, Spiderbite didn't let the world knew he cared about his. But, as he got older and the world seemed to move on, everyone living their lives with new experiences, he seemed to be stuck in the same loop. Wake up, go on patrol, do some hunting, go to sleep. And occasionally toss in a border skirmish or something similar. But, at the age of fifty-eight moons, most of the sense of adventure has left the tom. Though he still carries his ridiculously stubborn nature and sharp temper, which isn't curing or helping his lonely situation at all.
