WEATHER
Greenleaf 1 The first day of greenleaf dawns warm and bright, with the occasional cloud passing over the sun.
Greenleaf 2 - A warm breeze eases through the valley, lifting the spirits of those out hunting on such a warm day.
Greenleaf 3 - The heat of the day gives way to a pleasant evening with clear skies. Crickets serenade the valley and fireflies flit about on the warm breeze.
Greenleaf 4 - The morning dawns cool and damp, but by sunhigh the day is revealed to be sunny and warm.
Greenleaf 5 - The warmth and sunshine continues to reign over the valley, but by the end of the evening the warmth has become a heavy humidity, perhaps signaling a storm is on the way.
Greenleaf 6 - Thunder rumbles ominously in the distance as a storm looms above the valley, the gentle breezes slowly picking up.
Greenleaf 7 - The day begins calm, with only the slightest breeze to disturb the trees. By nightfall, the wind picks up and sweeps along the valley.
Greenleaf 8 - The morning dawns with an early rain shower, slowly coming to end around midday and leaving the valley soggy and humid.
Greenleaf 9 - A dank meme fog blankets the territories early in the morning, but is quickly evaporated due to the extreme heat of the day.
Greenleaf 10 - Thunderstorms bring with them torrential downpour and leave behind gray skies and muggy weather. Though the scent of fresh rain permeates the valley, the sticky humidity is not refreshing.
Greenleaf 11 - After the previous night's rain, the valley is mercifully cooler, and a gentle breeze and slightly cloudy skies lead to a rather pleasant day. The skies are clear for tonight's Medicine Cat Meeting.
Greenleaf 12 - A cool morning heralds a beautiful, refreshing, and sunny Greenleaf day. Birds are heard chirping everywhere, and the forest is alive with the sounds of life.
Greenleaf 13 - The humidity has spiked overnight, and the sun shines in the clear skies, promising heatstroke for those who do not find shade or water.
Greenleaf 14 - The air remains stagnant as a suffocating heat wave settles over the valley.
Greenleaf 15 - The sun burns brightly in the sky, not a cloud in sight.
Greenleaf 16 - Something strange is happening. Cicadas are emerging from the ground after a long, long slumber. Every Clan is now affected by sudden noisy swarms of red-eyed insects. First sightings in the Black Woods (NC), the Trampled Clearing (LC), the Wooded Cove (RC), the Little Woods (SC) and the Wildflower Clearing (TC).
Greenleaf 17 - A cool morning heralds a beautiful, refreshing, and sunny Greenleaf day. Birds are heard chirping everywhere, but the sounds of the valley are dominated by the incessant noise of the cicadas. Even the Tribe can hear their distant mating calls, though faint.
Greenleaf 18 - It is hot. Sheddings can be found throughout each territory - another sure sign of the cicadas present. They are found near trees. Watch your step. Hunting is now a challenge.
Greenleaf 19 - Though the valley remains hot and humid, a fierce wind makes it easier for the inhabitants to bear the heat. Prey can be found coming out quickly for food.
Greenleaf 20 - Tensions are high from the incessant noise. Heavy cloud cover makes it easier to hunt in this heat.
Greenleaf 21 - Rumbles roll through the valley in the morning, but rain won't start until the late afternoon, which starts light but becomes a torrential downpour that doesn't ease up all night long.
Greenleaf 22 - The previous days' rain and storms reveal a decidedly peaceful day ahead. The ground is muddy and the trees are still dripping with rainwater, but the undergrowth is alive with the sound of prey coming out from their dens.
Greenleaf 23 - High winds whip the valley into a frenzy. It is a blessed break from the noise of the cicadas, but beware of falling branches and other debris.
Greenleaf 24 - Another summer storm, combined with lingering strong winds has all but the bravest cat sheltering inside.
Greenleaf 25 - The rain subsides, and various water sources are now full to the brim if not bursting their banks. The night promises to be clear: careful when traveling to tonight's gathering.
Greenleaf 26 - The sun burns hot over the valley but the moisture is slow to evaporate. A thin haze of cloudcover gives some semblance of shade.
Greenleaf 27 - The haziness continues into a bright overcast sunhigh, but the temperature is beginning to cool.
Greenleaf 28 - The longest day of greenleaf, and temperatures are moderate. Pleasant.
Greenleaf 29 - There is dew on the grasses in the morning, and the air feels fresh and cool. Leaf-fall is approaching.
Greenleaf 30 - The last gasp of greenleaf makes for a hot day of shadeless hunting, but the night is surprisingly peaceful. The cicadas are returning to the earth.
Leaf-fall 1 - The first truly cool morning in a long time. The scent on the wind has changed. Autumn is here.

WEATHER Day 1: A cool breeze and the slow transition from green to yellow leaves marks the beginning of Leaf-fall.
Day 2: The sky is devoid of any clouds, allowing the sun to shine at full brightness.
Day 3: Light gray clouds cover the sky, a chilling coolness spreading through the valley with the lack of sun.
Day 4: Dark gray clouds slowly settle in during the morning, a light rain falling later in the day.
Day 5: A strong wind travels through the land, causing the foliage to be in constant motion and the multi-colored leaves to fall.
Day 6: The sun beats down heavily on the valley, the day surprisingly hot for Leaffall with no wind to balance the heat.
Day 7: The morning sun can hardly be seen through the overcast sky that persists throughout the day, and although there is no chill, a slight drizzle falls in the northeastern side of the valley.
Day 8: An unusually warm Leaf-fall day grips the valley in humidity, tricking many prey animals into thinking it's still summer.
Day 9: Discontented rumbling rolls through the valley in the morning, threatening a final storm to end the warm season. In late afternoon, the storm starts with a freezing, torrential downpour, continuing throughout the evening until midnight.
Day 10: A wicked autumn wind chills the bones of every elder in the valley, where even the sunshine feels lukewarm and dull.
Day 11: Stop-and-start showers occur throughout the whole day, cloaking the mountainous foothills in persistent fog.
Day 12: Change is happening in the valley; the leaves are beginning to turn gold, and fog envelops the moor, nearly cloaking LightningClan territory completely from sight. The fog spreads through the rest of the territories and remains through the night.
Day 13: A cool but sunny day blesses the valley, large piles of fallen leaves forming in the forested areas and the long yellow grasses swaying with the wind.
Day 14: A day of heavy cloud-cover and bleak skies. Leaves crackle underneath, making hunting a challenge.
Day 15: A bitter wind sweeps the valley, bring with it the warning that Leafbare is on its way. Despite this, the day is bright and sunny, but does little to soothe the chill of the day.
Day 16: Days are noticeably getting shorter, with several more hours lasting before the first few rays of dawn hit the valley.
Day 17: Late-blooming plants such as goldenrod, cornflower and beautyberry still give vibrancy to the valley. Prey can still be found foraging for nuts, seeds and berries alike.
Day 18: A strong, gusty day that drives up loose sediment in StoneClan territory, bends the moorland grasses and causes a few loose branches to plummet to the earth. Be careful.
Day 19: With so much wind lately, pollen-heavy plants like ragweed and goldenrod, can agitate even the strongest of sinuses.
Day 20: A rare morning of warmth sends cats hurrying in search of their favorite sunning places.
Day 21: Mist settles in above the crunchy layer of leaves covering the valley, but evaporates by sunhigh.
Day 22: Trees are beginning to look bare, the fallen leaves beginning to brown at the edges. Leafbare is coming.
Day 23: Water sources have cooled significantly, prey is quickly becoming scarce.
Day 24: The valley's vegetation has taken on shades of brown and gold. Seed husks and dead flowers brush against each other in the strong wind.
Day 25: While the day dawns bad weather, an eerie harvest moon hangs reddish-orange and huge in the night sky.
Day 26: The cool wind's reach seems limitless. Clan cats are advised to insulate their dens to combat the chill.
Day 27: As the days get colder, Leafbare begins to make hints at its arrival with a very light snowfall during the morning.
Day 28: A steady fall of snow in the morning covers the ground in its first thin layer of snow, melting by the end of the day with the sun shining.
Day 29: The water sources of the valley begin to form small patches of ice during the morning, frost covering the land all throughout the day.
Day 30: With the sun hidden behind clouds and snow beginning to fall, the smaller ponds and lakes begin to freeze over in a thin layer of ice.
Leafbare Day 1: The chilliest morning so far, the clouds are gray and heavy with the promise of more snow.
Leafbare Day 2: A thin layer of powder sticks to the ground, but turns to slush after so many churning pawsteps.

WEATHER
Leaf-bare 1; The chilliest morning so far, the clouds are gray and heavy with the promise of more snow.
Leaf-bare 2; A thin layer of powder sticks to the ground, but turns to slush after so many churning pawsteps.
Leaf-bare 3; The blades of grass are overlaid with sheaths of ice that melts from the softest of breaths and tickles of whiskers. The morning holds a child that melts as the sun rises, coating the land with a soft dew that clings to fur.
Leaf-bare 4; Though the sun shines bright in the sky, the temperatures continue to drop, leaving the ground cold and damp as it freezes and thaws with the cycle of the day.
Leaf-bare 5; A gentle, cold breeze flows through the territories. There are a few sparse bursts of snowfall, but only hours later the snow is melted by a heavy rain that turns the dirt to mud.
Leaf-bare 6; Breaths come out in puffs while clouds float to the sky to block out the sun and leave the day looking dreary.
Leaf-bare 7; With a harsh wind blowing through the land, the final dead leaves fall from the trees, scaring the prey away from their usual hiding places and making hunting more difficult.
Leaf-bare 8;The winds carry a chill that bites at the skin under the thickest of furs and tickles the ends of noses, it can’t be denied any longer that Leaf-Bare is here.
Leaf-bare 9; A deep cold accompanied by flurries of snow lower the visibility and temperature throughout the day, causing the edges of the land's water sources to begin freezing.
Leaf-bare 10; A light snowfall wakes the cats of the Clans in the morning, and continues into the evening, leaving a light blanket of snow across the valley.
Leaf-bare 11; A cloudy, miserable sky looms over the wintery landscape, casting the snow in a miserly off-white colour.
Leaf-bare 12; The water sources of the valley have completely frozen over in a thin layer of ice. Cats are warned to be careful of the unstable surface over the waters.
Leaf-bare 13; A dense fog and hardly any light reach the clans, deep and dark clouds looming overhead. Towards the end of the day, snow begins to fall in a gentle but steady pace.
Leaf-bare 14; The valley goes dark under the gigantic clouds in the sky, layers upon layers of hard-falling snow covering the ground in a constant wave of low visibility.
Leaf-bare 15; A harsh wind picks up, hitting anything in it's path with a frost-bitten grasp. A snowstorm blows in during the afternoon to join the gust plaguing the land.
Leaf-bare 16; Snow continues to fall heavily, but the wind has slowed down, increasing visibility slightly across the valley.
Leaf-bare 17; The crisp snow has become so deep that many cats find themselves up to their bellies in it. Lighter cats may manage to walk delicately on the surface.
Leaf-bare 18; No snow falls today, and the prey must come out to find food after the storm. Today is an optimal day to hunt for those who are able to traverse on top of the thick layer of snow.
Leaf-bare 19; A light snowfall graces the land on this day, adding a layer of fresh snow to the ground. Aside from the snow, the weather is actually calm and quite pleasant for the cats of the land.
Leaf-bare 20; A gentle breeze blows across the land, the sun hanging overhead and making the snow glow. The cats of the land are given a temporary break from the harsh weather.
Leaf-bare 21; Temperatures drop overnight, freezing the snow even more-so and sharpening the nip of the cold air during the day.
Leaf-bare 22; The sky is clear, but today marks the coldest day yet of leaf-bare. Only those with the thickest coats and resolve dare leave the warmth of their dens.
Leaf-bare 23; A few clouds begin to coalesce over the valley, turning the sky grey.
Leaf-bare 24; Tooth-sized hail rains down upon the valley, making it incredibly dangerous to walk in open areas.
Leaf-bare 25; The frozen rain has made the ground more solid, so despite its cold, it is now easier for larger cats to traverse across the snowy landscape.
Leaf-bare 26; The sun's beams shine a little brighter today and makes the snow begin to collect in clumps that break apart easily. This is the first sign that leaf-bare is soon to end.
Leaf-bare 27; As the temperatures seem to gradually increase, the snow has begun to melt, leaving cats' paws wet with every step they take.
Leaf-bare 28; The snow has continued in its melting, and a few closed buds can be seen waiting to sprout from the tree branches.
Leaf-bare 29; The day is much warmer, and some of the snow has turned into disgusting mush that slushes underpaw.
Leaf-bare 30 Songbirds can be heard in the morning, the last of many signs that Leafbare is coming to an end.
Newleaf 1; More flocks of birds can be seen returning to the valley, filling the muddy area with song and the promise of new life.

WEATHER
Newleaf 1: More flocks of birds can be seen returning to the valley, filling the muddy area with song and the promise of new life.
Newleaf 2: The valley breeze grows warmer in temperature, signaling the beginning of Newleaf. Though the air is warm, a layer of snow still clings to the ground and ice still floats over the clans' water sources.
Newleaf 3: The sun shines brightly over the valley, bringing with it a wave of warmth that melts away the snow covering the ground. But with the snow melting, much of the ground is covered in mud and slush, making it difficult to traverse.
Newleaf 4: Mud left over from the melted snow begins to dry, but at the same time the ice that has covered the rivers and lakes begins to break and soften, making it extremely dangerous to travel near all water sources.
Newleaf 5: All of the ice and snow of Leafbare is gone, allowing warmth and life to return to the valley, including prey. The sun is shining with only a few white clouds going across the sky.
Newleaf 6: A cool breeze blows through the valley and gray clouds overcast the sky, making the valley cool much like it was during Leafbare.
Newleaf 7: Gray clouds cover the sky, blocking out the sun, but darker clouds loom in the distance, hinting at a coming storm that the cats may catch scent of later on in the day.
Newleaf 8: A light shower of rain begins in the morning, slowly getting more intense by the end of the day, continuing through the night.
Newleaf 9: Heavy rain continues from the night before through half of the day, ending at sunhigh and leaving the valley muggy and wet.
Newleaf 10: The air is humid from the previous day's storm, making everything muggy and an uncomfortable sort of warmth that leaves one sweating under their fur. Newleaf 11: A perfectly ordinary, moderately cool day greets the valley. It is a good day for cats to be productive and stretch their paws.
Newleaf 12: The day dawns cool, but without the harsh nip of cold that comes with Leaf-bare. In among the forests and grasses, the occasional chirping of hungry chicks can be heard.
Newleaf 13: While the day starts warm and calm, a cold front sweeps up from beyond the valley late in the evening. As the sun sets on the Clans, a distant lightning storm occasionally lights up the sky.
Newleaf 14: The valley is glowing with dew and leftover water from an early-morning shower, leaving the plants and trees sparkling. The air is warm, but cooled by a breeze.
Newleaf 15: Though the sun shines, coolness lingers in the air, sending a shiver down the spine. The wind grows in intensity throughout the day, going on through the night and only growing stronger.
Newleaf 16: The sky is overcast with various shapes of clouds. There is a dull, lifeless shade to what little sunlight filters through despite the newly budding flowers appearing across the territories.
Newleaf 17: A savage windstorm strikes throughout the valley, lashing at all in its path. Smaller cats may have trouble keeping themselves grounded while others may have trouble keeping their eyes open.
Newleaf 18: Dark, nearly black, clouds loom in the sky and harsh rain and wind covers the valley in darkness. Thunder booms overhead and lightning strikes, causing many to keep shelter wherever they can. Riverclan and Nightclan should be weary of their camps lightly flooding.
Newleaf 19: Leftover water from the previous day's storm remains throughout the territories, leaving many areas only accessible by those that can swim. With wind encouraging a strong water current, Apprentices are not encouraged to be out without supervision.
Newleaf 20: Remnants of storms and rain cause a heavy layer of fog to settle over the valley, making it hard to see in front of you. Occasional openings reveal that the sun is covered by clouds, leaving the day cool and void of wind or sound.
Newleaf 21: Birds chirp and rodents squeak as the day begins with warmth and beautiful temperatures. Prey is out and about and the sun shines overhead.
Newleaf 22: Though the day dawns bright and sunny, there is a chill in the air that catches you unaware.
Newleaf 23: Though the valley has warmed and seems to be in Newleaf, a final light shower of snow falls from the sky, covering the ground briefly in a thin layer before melting by the end of the day.
Newleaf 24: A sharp breeze and a bright sun bring a surprisingly hot warmth into the valley. Though it grows cooler during the night, it is clear that Greenleaf is on the way.
Newleaf 25: A bright, beautiful day hints at the steady approach of Greenleaf. A few light showers nourish the newly-grown flora, but they are brief.
Newleaf 26: Throughout the day there is no wind, no rain, no breeze, no clouds, nothing to shield the valley from the heat of the sun. The air is humid and all of the territories are tiringly warm, leaving some seeking shelter in the shade.
Newleaf 27: The humidity lingers until sunhigh, and the air is filled with droning hums of insects throughout the valley.
Newleaf 28: The morning coolness is cut short, and the day stays warm, the ground under paw drying out completely.
Newleaf 29: Summer is all but here. The forest is in full bloom. Shady places and bodies of water are starting to look appealing.
Newleaf 30: A hot, breezy day. Perfect for laying out in the sun. Greenleaf is here.

WEATHER
Greenleaf 1 - The first day of Greenleaf is calm and pleasant, promising warm weather and cloudless skies throughout the day.
Greenleaf 2 - Morning dawns warm and cheerful, but clouds on the horizon begin crowding overhead, and by late afternoon they look quite dark, with rain showers starting at night.
Greenleaf 3 - The rain continues through the night and into the morning, and it's mostly tolerable until dusk, when the rain turns into a torrential downpour.
Greenleaf 4 - The rain continues its onslaught and is showing no signs of letting up, coming down harder than ever and making it impossible to spend time outside of camp.
Greenleaf 5 - The downpour relentlessly goes on throughout the day, still with no sign of it lightening. The river begins to flood, and any underground area becomes dangerous to stay in. Prey will emerge to find shelter elsewhere as they become flushed out.
Greenleaf 6 - It's beginning to feel like one will never see sunny skies again, with the rain continuing and keeping all inhabitants of the valley in danger of flooding. * NightClan and RainClan are forced to evacuate camp
Greenleaf 7 - Only when dawn approaches does the rain finally begin to ease, though it will not stop completely until dusk. The air in the valley suddenly sounds eerily quiet.
Greenleaf 8 - Clouds blanket the sky throughout the entire day, but the weather is pleasant and cool. Hunting, however, is surprisingly difficult: Most prey seems to have fled the valley during the horrible weather.
Greenleaf 9 - The sun peeks through cloudy skies occasionally during the day, but aside from the warm weather nothing else is looking up. Areas are still flooded, and prey is still strangely scarce.
Greenleaf 10 - The clouds clear at least, letting the sun shine down upon the valley throughout the entire day. If one listens closely, however, the earth seems almost to be trembling.
Greenleaf 11 - The day dawns with drizzling rain, which quickly develops into a thunderstorm by sunhigh. Lightning strikes in uninhabited territory later in the evening, but any sparks are quickly doused by the steady rain.
Greenleaf 12 - It is still raining the day the valley is destroyed. An earthquake rocks the territories and for a couple minutes the land is quickly ravaged by deep cracks in the earth. The river's natural course is altered drastically, flooding the areas around it, and forcing every living creature to race to high ground. * All Clans evacuate the valley in preparation, but some cats will be too late
Greenleaf 13 - The rain eases off in the morning as brief aftershocks reverberate through the valley, frightening predator and prey alike. The day is cool and dreary otherwise.
Greenleaf 14 - A fierce wind accompanied by off-and-on drizzles makes for a harsh morning, but it soon clears up by sunhigh as the dark clouds leave the horizon. The rest of the day is partly cloudy and sunny.
Greenleaf 15 - The day dawns warm and quiet, thick fluffy clouds studding the horizon. The weather is unremarkable, calm, and pleasant.
Greenleaf 16 - Birdsong is heard in the morning and throughout the day as prey slowly begins to return to the valley. The day is sunny and bright, and things are starting to seem more cheerful.
Greenleaf 17 - The morning is quite pleasant, but the heat becomes more intense by early afternoon as the sun beats down from a cloudless sky.
Greenleaf 18 - After the previous day's heat, the cool breeze is welcome, though the weather is still intensely hot. No one is unhappy to see rainclouds on the horizon by late afternoon.
Greenleaf 19 - A calm drizzle falls through the night and into the morning, heralding a calm, partly-cloudy day. Prey emerges to gratefully drink from water sources.
Greenleaf 20 - The day is an ideal balance of warm and cool. There are some light sun-showers throughout the early and late afternoon.
Greenleaf 21 - Another aftershock briefly shakes the valley, but causes minimal damage. The day is bright and almost deceptively sunny after the false alarm of the aftershock.
Greenleaf 22 - The sunny weather continues from the previous day, but there is a tension in the air that makes it clear this is a calm before the storm.
Greenleaf 23 - As expected, dark storm clouds roll in by mid-morning as a minor thunderstorm disturbs the peace of the valley. Rain pours down all day, accompanied by regular thunder and lightning.
Greenleaf 24 - The storm eases up by sunhigh, making for a cool and dreary afternoon. The skies are studded by some clouds but the sun peaks through here and there.
Greenleaf 25 - Fog rolls in during the morning, but quickly dissipates beneath the sun. The air is significantly cooler after the storm, and the skies are clear for the Gathering tonight.
Greenleaf 26 - Dew blankets the forests, and minimal sunshine appears during the day, making for very cool and comfortable weather.
Greenleaf 27 - There is spotty rain throughout the day, bringing a crisp and cool wind with it that seems to signal the approach of Leaf-fall.
Greenleaf 28 - The day is sunny and mild, with few clouds on the horizon making for an ideal day for hunting.
Greenleaf 29 - The morning is cool, with a partly-cloudy afternoon accompanied by fresh breezes. The scents in the valley are changing as seasons begin to shift.
Greenleaf 30 - Prey is plentiful as the creatures of the valley stuff themselves in preparation for the cooler weather. The day is unseasonably cold and windy, but not intolerable.
Leaf-fall 1 - The first day of Leaf-fall dawns cool and crisp, but the sun comes out in the early afternoon to create pleasant weather for hunting and patrolling.

Calendar features Whitehawk, Snake Sunning on Rocks, Cloudtail, Larkflower, and Strut of Ring-Necked Rooster. The season of Greenleaf #8 lasted from June 2nd, 2021 to September 3rd, 2021. However, time was frozen on October 10th, 2021 with the in-character date of Greenleaf #25, to give the exploration threads time to conclude. Time will Unfreeze on December 10th, 2021, and we will be in the season of Leaf-fall 9, starting on Day 3. The season of Leaf-fall will last December & January. Leafbare will be February & March. Newleaf will be April & May. Greenleaf 9 will be a normal, full season spanning June to August. August will be a month of much deserved celebration. =) Leaf-fall DaysLeaf-fall 1 - The first day of Leaf-fall dawns cool and crisp, but the sun comes out in the early afternoon to create pleasant weather for hunting and patrolling. prey proves blissfully abundant... by early evening, a biting breeze gusts down from the mountains intermittently.
Leaf-fall 2 – Though the dawn-time grasses once more host dew, the frosty winds from the mountains make short work of crystalizing the droplets into a delicate sheet of sleet. Each cat’s breath can be seen in the air, puffing out in clouds and quickly swept away by the breeze. The winds, though tolerable, refuse to die down even deep into the night.
Leaf-fall 3 - The unrelenting winds bring about a cold-snap that sees prey hiding away within burrows, though woodland creatures and aquatic morsels can still be found with some luck. The cold dampness about the earth pervades – valuable herbs rendered useless by the dampness and the gusts, and an unfortunate influx of runny noses and leaky eyes... not yet greencough or whitecough, but worrying.
Leaf-fall 4 - The day dawns cold and wet and frosty once more, but at the very least – the winds seem to have abated for the time being. Prey-piles and herb-stores alike are cleared of rotten materials... Some are left with more than others by nightfall.
*GorgeClan retains the most herbs and prey due to their environment. GaleClan finds themselves short of herbs; MistClan finds themselves short of prey and herbs.
Leaf-fall 5 - When next the winds come, so too do billowing clouds that drift down into the valley—coating its entirety in a dense, cold fog that smothers everything in its path. Visibility is greatly reduced and the lands seem ominously still and quiet... if such a thing were possible following the quakes of the previous season.
*Cats cannot see more than a tree-length beyond themselves.
Leaf-fall 6 – The density of the blanketing fogs increases throughout the night and early morning... The winds, conversely, have lessened in severity and seem to whisper by merely to stir up the thick smog brought low from the skies. Prey is difficult but possible to locate... predators are possible, but difficult to detect. GaleClan sees a dangerous spike in predators.
*Cats cannot see more than 3 fox-lengths beyond themselves.
Leaf-fall 7 – The intense and lingering humidity paired with the cold-snap does little to benefit the vitality of cats; health concerns are made real as a wave of whitecough slips through the valley in small pockets. The Tribe is notably affected.
*Cats cannot see more than 3 fox-lengths beyond themselves.
Leaf-fall 8 - The fogs reach their greatest density yet—piling together in thick, choking clouds that halt Clan life within the valley. Patrols in all Clans are called off and cats are encouraged (or required) to remain within camp until the fog abates. GorgeClan’s territory is left especially dangerous with the lack of visibility, with fatal falls being far more likely.
*Cats cannot see more than 1 tail-length beyond themselves.
Leaf-fall 9 - Still encouraged (or required) to remained within camp throughout the morning, it isn’t until the early afternoon that the fogs show any sign of abating. When they do – it is to a generous extent, but many still feel smothered.
*Cats can ALMOST see a tree-length beyond themselves.
Leaf-fall 10 - It is late during the night when the fogs finally break – a bitterly cold and misting rain replacing their choking presence. By dawn, the lands are drenched but visible for the first time in days. Unfortunately, the freezing downpour did little to assist in healing efforts of those afflicted by illness.
*The fog has lifted, but the lands are slick, cold, and muddy. Sick cats have likely grown sicker if they have not received care.
Leaf-fall 11 - The day isn’t warm at all, but it lacks the same cold, biting winds and rains and the choking fogs from earlier in the season. For a moment, it could almost feel like spring... but the barren lands make it clear that it isn’t. Leafbare is drawing near.
Leaf-fall 12 - A brief respite of calm weather continues as the Clans, Tribe, and Outsiders alike focus primarily on the acquisition of food, which remains challenging. The chill still feels peaceful, but bears an ominous undertone... in a way that does not bode well for Leafbare.
*Despite the challenging season, the medicine cat meeting is held at an agreed-upon location, and the healers are, at long last, visited by StarClan.
Leaf-fall 13 - It is a rare day of bountiful prey as many creatures scramble to make last-minute preparations and take advantage of clear skies for what appears to be an early Leafbare frosting on the horizon. Unfortunately, many Clan and Tribe cats remain ill and unable to contribute. Those left able find themselves stretched thin quickly.
Leaf-fall 14 – The desperate rush for the coming of Leafbare continues on a sunny, chilly day as the Clans work to recover from illness and prepare themselves for the coming winter. Though the sun shines brightly, it lacks true warmth and little comfort can be gleaned from its rays. The chill continues with strong winds blowing off the lake making MistClan especially cold. Hunting is difficult, with prey seemingly hiding in their burrows.
Leaf-fall 15 - The trees are beginning to look quite bare in GorgeClan territory, and the wind has blown away most of the leaves. The day boasts a set of malignant clouds and an odd sort of charge throughout the air that sets many on edge. With the coming of sunset, a lightning storm breaks out that sends a battery of hail down upon the territories.
Leaf-fall 16 - The day dawn brings a bright, sunny morning, doing a little to melt some of the hail from the previous day, though the dark clouds return by mid-afternoon. The day is bitterly cold, freezing much of the undergrowth with another frost that may threaten more of the medicine cats' healing herbs. The frost persists, resulting in a day that's too quiet and seemingly frozen in time.
Leaf-fall 17 - Late morning sunshine melts the persistent frost, thankfully revealing herbs that are not too frostbitten. Powerful winds blast through the valley, breaking down a few of the trees that were already weakened by the earthquake. Be careful.
Leaf-fall 18 – A gentle snow begins to fall throughout the early morning, though only settles for very long up in the mountains. The air is cold and bears a bite to it – modest water sources such as streams are frozen over during the nightly dip in temperatures.
*The Trickling Falls in GorgeClan’s territory have frozen over.
Leaf-fall 19 – Temperatures continue to dip lower as Leafbare fast approaches; larger bodies of water are now finding themselves afflicted with layers of frost... some freeze over to an extent—but the safety of such temporary bridges is hotly contested. MistClan in particular bears heavy risks associated with the incomplete freezing of lakes, rivers, streams, and ponds.
*Prey grows increasingly scarce; MistClan in particular suffers due to the freezing of water sources.
Leaf-fall 20 - Most sources of water throughout the territories have now frozen over, save for the deeper lakes and rivers of MistClan. The lands surrounding the Rainbow Springs in GaleClan's territory are kept thawed and warmed by the deadly temperatures emanating from the marvelously hued waters. The air is frigid everywhere and stings the lungs when gulped down too quickly. Countless arrow formations of birds stretch their way across the skies and the final day of clarity offered to them to fly south.
*Clans must now rely on melting snow over moss for a reliable source of water in most cases.
Leaf-fall 21 – Fluffy snows that promise to stay float down with the dawning of the final day of Leaf-fall. Though a beautiful sight, there are many that take little comfort in the sparkling flakes and fast-forming white mounds of snow. By mid-afternoon, despite the sun’s best efforts, the lands are coated with a layer of snow at least a mouse-length thick.
*Most of MistClan’s water sources are now completely frozen over.

GREENCOUGH DICE ROLL SEASON.Newleaf will be April & May. Greenleaf Year 9 will be a normal, full season spanning June to August. August will be a month of much deserved celebration. =) WeatherLeafbare Day 1: The first day of Leafbare dawns silent and coated with a modest layer of snow—one that the clouds above promise to contribute to throughout the day. Leafbare Day 2: With a thin layer of fluffy snow already on the ground and a chill in the air, even more snow falls steadily in a light shower all through the day, adding more height to the already-fallen snow. Leafbare Day 3: The light snow stops early in the morning, and though a chill still hangs in the air, the sun pushes through the clouds, offering a tiny bit of warmth to those willing to sit in the snow. Leafbare Day 4: The sun shines above in a cloudless sky, yet all through the day there are no signs of the fallen snow melting yet. Leafbare Day 5: Just as the snow begins to melt in the night, the morning brings heavy and thick clouds over the mountains, shielding the valley below from warmth and causing the air to grow colder and the snow to remain. Leafbare Day 6: The clouds pass in the night and the morning promises a glimpse of the ground without snow, though some mounds of snow grow stubborn and remain solid. The air is a tad bit warmer. Leafbare Day 7: An oddity, the day is rather warm and most of the snow has disappeared, though as night approaches the scent of snow wafts in from the mountains, suggesting the warmth won’t last long. Leafbare Day 8: The morning brings in a slow wave of fog over the land, leaving some areas hardly visible to those who dare tread them. Just as the fog fades when the sun falls, moving clouds produce falling snow all through the night. Leafbare Day 9: The overnight snowfall did not last long, but it left a thin layer of fluffy snow in its wake. Throughout the day the wind grows strong, sending swirls and flurries of snow everywhere, hindering any sight at random. Leafbare Day 10: The valley is cool throughout the day with a thin layer of snow, though there is no wind, something both thankful and suspicious for the cats of the valley. Leafbare Day 11: The day goes by quietly, though a humongous and looming dark cloud moves in slowly, hanging above the mountains just as the sun falls. A cold chill pinches at the skin of any who leave their dens. Something is coming. Leafbare Day 12: The dark clouds have slowly made their way over the valley, blocking out the sun, though so far things don’t seem to be out of order. The cold breeze and the silence of the sky cause a strange feeling to settle on those below. Leafbare Day 13: Beginning in the middle of the night, harsh winds begin to blow, lashing at dens, trees, and anyone who walks into them. Later on in the day, snow begins to mix in with the wind, visibility growing low very quickly as night approaches. Leafbare Day 14, Half Moon: The wind-and-snow storm continues all through the night and into the next day, only growing stronger overnight. The snow sends a burst of cold against any who leave their dens and the wind gets under any pelt it can. Cats are not recommended to leave camp alone. Leafbare Day 15: Even into its third day the blizzard shows no signs of stopping. The howling wind and unforgiving snow continues all throughout the day, leaving the valley a solid coat of white even when it doesn’t block out sight. Cats are not recommended to leave camp or their den. Leafbare Day 16: After a few days of nonstop harsh winds and lashing snow, the morning finally promises a break. The dark clouds have faded to nothing, leaving lighter gray clouds and a much lighter snowfall. Though the blizzard are gone, the valley is still freezing in its aftermath. Leafbare Day 17: Snow stops falling in the night, though the sheer amount of snow left behind on the ground is remarkable. As tall as an average cat, taller even in some areas, cats will likely have to dig paths through their territory and out of their camps just to get through without being consumed in snow. -Gorgeclan will have to dig out of their dens, Galeclan will have to unplug the rabbit burrow dens, and Mistclan will have to climb out of their hollow-. Leafbare Day 18, Full Moon: As the cat-tall snow begins to melt, the valley grows slick and slushy, freezing over later on in the day. With a thin layer of ice covering most of the valley, all cats are recommended to be very careful everywhere they walk. Leafbare Day 19: The ice from the day before begins to melt as the day grows a little bit warmer, though a constant breeze is a constant reminder of the cold all throughout the day. Leafbare Day 20: The sun shines brightly in the sky, providing a much needed wave of warmth, promising the coming of Spring. The water sources through the valley are just beginning to melt.. Leafbare Day 21: The morning is cool, but the sun shines brightly throughout the rest of the day; snow melts from tree boughs, giving the ground a damp, muddy texture.

Newleaf 1: Morning offers a taste of the Leaf-bare chill that has just begun to fade, while the afternoon holds a promise of the coming Greenleaf heat. Newleaf 2: Despite the cloudless sky, a relentless wind keeps the day cold and unpleasant. Newleaf 3: Today, the sun did not rise as much as gray skies simply lightened. A light mist blankets the valley, just heavy enough to render all those who venture outside uncomfortably damp. Newleaf 4: Steady rain falls across half the valley. Those in GaleClan who look to the west will see sheets of rain falling upon their neighbors. Newleaf 5: It is a picturesque New-Leaf day: a cerulean sky dotted by cotton-like clouds, herded gently across the heavens by a gentle breeze. Newleaf 6: As night gives way to day, the air is heavy with apprehension. Massive storm clouds loom overhead, and it isn’t long before lightning splinters across the darkened sky, bringing with it crashes of thunder and a heavy downfall. Newleaf 7: Today’s weather is mud. Thanks to recent rainfall, the utterly inescapable mud is everywhere: in your fur, behind your ears, and between your toes. Disgusting. Newleaf 8: A streak of warm, sunny days has prompted trees and flowers alike to bloom, ushering the worst aspect of New-Leaf: clouds of pollen. Newleaf 9: The wind is cold, and the sky is gray. Are we sure New-Leaf has arrived? Newleaf 10: The thunderstorm lingers into the next day. Gusts of wind tear branches from trees and howl as they race across the moorlands. Thunder roars, and lightning strikes. Rain turns to sleet. Newleaf 11: A mild day brings a break from the storms and allows the territories to dry. Trees are budding and new growth is apparent all around the valley. Newleaf 12: Generous amounts of water still linger after the storms, and Clan territories with fewer water sources can find it in abundance. Newleaf 13: The sun is bright overhead, with a strong wind striking the trees and rockfaces. Be careful of loose debris. Newleaf 14: A day of heavy pollen; sneezing and itchy noses are not uncommon, especially in GaleClan with so many blooming grasses. Newleaf 15: Light drizzling starts off the morning, eventually fading into a cool breeze. Hunting is good today. Newleaf 16: The valley is full of life today, the sky dotted with fluffy clouds for a partly-cloudy but overall sunny and lovely Newleaf day. Newleaf 17: A cloudless day full of warm sunshine and the singing of birds. The breeze starts off pleasant, but becomes more aggressive later in the afternoon until it rains lightly through the night. Newleaf 18: The rain continues on and off through the morning but the afternoon is sunny and cheerful, making for excellent hunting and gathering of herbs. Newleaf 19: The day is hot and humid and filled with the droning of insects, as though they're here to announce Greenleaf is almost officially upon the valley. Newleaf 20: The humidity begins to fade from the air, thankfully, but only due to the heat of the sun, unbroken by clouds or rain for the entire day. Shade and the areas around the lake are beginning to look appealing. Newleaf 21: The heat of the day continues to bear down on the valley and a tension seems to grip the valley like calm before a thunderstorm - Greenleaf is here.

All past calendars are located in this thread and exist for when members need to reference weather events of previous seasons.
Timekeeping When starting a thread, look at the calendar module on the 'News' tab of the welcome table in order to see the in-character date. You can click the module to see the weather details and temperature, as well as the moon phase. This is the IC day that the thread starts on. In the description of your thread, you should enter the season and season date as well as the weather blurb for that date (the text that says 'The day is X and the weather is Y and Z.') so other roleplayers know the date and weather during your thread. Threads can continue for as long as the roleplayers wish and do not need to end before the 'next' day starts. This system is in place to help keep events going.
Aging All characters will age up 3 moons at the start of the season.
Events Events are denoted by additional text at the end of a day's weather blurb. So, the day of a Gathering might say, 'The day is warm and the weather is sunny. The Gathering is tonight.' You can also tell these events by the moon phases - Gatherings will always occur during full moons and Medicine Cat Meetings will always occur during third-quarter half-moons. The roleplay is affected by these events.
Backdating a thread? Need to backdate? Go ahead, you may start threads on any day in the current season that has already passed, but no threads may be started 'in the future' (any day that occurs after the current IC date). If you want to start a thread that occurs in a past season, please use the Take A Step Back board.
