Owlkit was minding his own business, as this sweet little kitten always did. He was so shy and frail that the slightest touch seemed to be able to break him. His eyes always had a slightly sad glint in them, as if the world was out to get him. This darling little kit loved that he looked that way, he adored the fact he was able to completely and utterly fool all of the toms and she's around him, that he was some innocent little by stander to the world. He would bathe in their pity and love and , and then watch with even more intent as who ever he was fooling went through their descent. Would they ever realize just how wonderfully Owlkit had fooled them, or would they forever remain fools? Watch with wide eyes and a dropped jaw, and then watch as he convinces them that they're crazy for thinking such a thing, that Owlkit had tricked someone into getting what he wanted. After all, what harm could a sweet, and innocent little kit like himself do to hurt someone in any form or fashion?
He purred at the thought as he sat in the nursery, his tails around his fore paws as he groomed the fur down on his shoulder. It was getting cool outside and so the queens wanted their kits to remain in the nursery for a little while longer, as any protective mother would. He wasn't much up for his usual tricks and schemes today, besides, the queens would most likely catch him if he tried to put rocks or thorns in any one's nest. So for the time being he was left with his thoughts and the other kits taking naps around him. Hopefully one of the other kits would be willing to play or do something with him? For now he just genuinely wanted some one to play with or to talk with, even. So with his usual pout on his face, and his ears slightly folded back, he poked his head out of the nursery to see if any apprentices were about.
The cold chipped away at his nose. It was fairly early in the morning, so of course, even though it was only Leaf-Fall, it would be cold. This would be Owlkit's first Leaf-Bare, soon to come. He had heard of the white frozen rain that fell fro the sky that looked like the softest fur once it hit the ground, but felt like cold needles once you stepped on it. For now the only thing that was falling from the trees were the brown and red leaves, making the world look mushy and dead, cold mud everywhere. Perhaps if there was white stuff all over the ground it would give the place more of a clean look? The trees would block most of the snow throughout the territory, but at least it would be something to look forwards to rather than crinkly dead leaves or the occasional falling acorn.
