33 Moons Ago...
In the middle of a sweltering Green Leaf, a TreeClan she-cat gave birth to three small kits on the Deer Path. Why she was so far away from the safety of the TreeClan nursery no one but StarClan could say: because she kitted so close to the NightClan border, there was later speculation that the father of her kits was a NightClan tom, but no one had any definite answers. Born to the she-cat Cedarfur, three tiny little scraps were born, small but healthy, though their mother could not say the same about herself. The kitting went wrong, and she died there on the Deer Path beside her newborns, not able to hold on long enough to name them – though there would've been no one to hear her even if she had.
They were discovered by the then-deputy, Lionstep, and Emberstorm, who carried the three mewling kits back to TreeClan and gave them to the queens to nurse. Neither Lionstep nor Emberstorm had any grasp of what really happened there, why Cedarfur had kitted so far from camp, but it was not in the Warrior Code to turn away three mewling, defenseless TreeClan (whether Half-TreeClan or not) kits.
What the others didn't know:
The kits are not half-TreeClan, half-NightClan. They are full-blooded TreeClanners, but that doesn't mean they're in the clear. They are the offspring of Jaytalon and Cedarfur, which would be all fine and dandy if Jaytalon didn't already have a mate and a family. They are the result of a one-night tryst, something the highly respected, well-liked Jaytalon regretted almost after it happened. The two had agreed to act as though it had never happened, if it weren't for three little reminders Cedarfur started carrying.
Cedarfur, terrified of losing the carefully constructed peace that is his life with his mate, Briarstorm, resorted to drastic measures to keep his family life intact. Luring Cedarfur to the NightClan border, the tom had intended to walk her right into a NightClan patrol. The NightClan cats killing her would've been too much to hope for, but in the likely scuffle, at least his kit problem would be solved. What he didn't plan for, however, was for Cedarfur to start kitting on the Deer Path before the NightClan patrol had shown up. Noticing all the blood and how things weren't going well, Jaytalon fearfully abandoned Willowbreeze and his offspring, not telling a soul she was there.
With his kits rescued in time and brought back to TreeClan camp, Jaytalon has been forced to watch as the three tiny results of his mistakes start to thrive within the Clan, Jaytalon fearful that they will one day recognize him as their father – or worse, that their mother, just before her death, had told them who he was. His only solace is that all three tom-kits (Wavekit, Wildkit and Wormkit) look more like their mother than they do him.
Jaytalon has been drastic before, how far will he go to keep his reputation and his secrets intact?
Wildsky, Wavesurge and Gorsetail are now 33 moons, and the mysterious circumstances of their birth seems to have been almost entirely forgotten.
Jaytalon is now 59 moons, and he believes himself to be in the clear after WormWaveWild's mother died during the kitting. He's helped his mate raise two litters, and though they've lost Sablepelt (1st litter) and Rook-kit (2nd litter), their lives are happy.
Everything is fine.
Until Wavesurge and Gracklefeather (Jaytalon's daughter) start spending some time together. Unaware that they are half-siblings, Jaytalon is horrified, and goes out of his way to break up the two whenever he can, even to the point of verbally abusing Wavesurge. He snaps at Gorsetail and Wildsky both, now paranoid that his offspring are going to commit some sort of heinous error if he isn't careful.
Hornetsting, who notices these sorts of things, is highly curious as to why her father seems to hate Gorsetail, Wildsky and Wavesurge so much.
Little does Jaytalon know that Cedarfur's sister, Maplesong, is fully aware of Jaytalon's one-night-stand with Cedarfur and the kits that resulted in it. Frightened of Jaytalon, she hasn't felt the need to speak up... until now.
If Hornetsting finds out the secret first, she might just attempt to kill her half-siblings, or even kill her father for betraying Briarstorm in such a way.

Gorsetail (Played by Phoenix) with the help of his friend Sprucefur (played by Fawn) will try to uncover the reason for Jaytalon's odd behavior! I have no clue on how this plot will end, let's just try to have some fun with it~ xP
