Name: Cloudpool
Age: 73 moons
Gender: She-cat
Clan:TreeClan
Rank: Warrior

Description: One of the most common faces in the nursery, Cloudpool's black and white patched fur is one which kits quickly learn to recognize, as well as her kind wide green-blue eyes, which have been described as the color of the river in Newleaf. Most of the queen's pelt is white, except for several spots on her back, the last half of her tail, and for the black around her eyes, which reaches up to her ears. A little petite for a she-cat, Cloudpool certainly looks and acts the part of a queen, with dainty white paws, soft round curves and short downy fur. The scent of milk, borage, and chamomile coats her, and usually puts most cats, including the nursery kits, at ease. Her build is closest to that of an american shorthair, with a stout but powerful frame, softened by her lifestyle as a queen. The she-cat thankfully avoided the wide oval face of some of her ancestors, instead graced with a gentle rounded face and small triangular ears. Her nose is a very light pink, with patchy white whiskers sprouting from her muzzle nearby. Cloudpool's paw pads, though faded and thicker, are still surprisingly pink.
Description Summary: Sleek white she-cat with prominent black spots patching her soft pelt and blue-green eyes.
Personality:
ESFJ
A bright and loving she-cat, Cloudpool embodies the basics of a mother. She is caring, compassionate, and a wonderful listener, considering it her purpose in life to help raise the kits of Treeclan, whether or not they be her own actual kits. For the many moons since the birth of her kits, she has been in and out of the nursery, helping how she can when she isnt needed to hunt or fight for Treeclan. Even when she does warrior duties, she is always aware of the next thing she needs to do to help the current queens in the nursery.
Yet it is important to understand that Cloudpool is not simply just the resident queen. There is more to her, the kind and outgoing she-cat that she is. As part of the many things she does as a queen, is support kits through apprenticeship to warriorhood, and even then. Cloudpool makes it her business to know everycat as best as possible, and maintain strong relationships within the clan, and be socially active. She is always asking cats how they are doing, and excited to hear about their days, as well as being there to comfort or offer advice. For kits and apprentices, she does her best to connect them to the older members of the clan, warriors and elders, as well as playing useful and educating games, and teaching them the ways and history of the clan.
Patient, very little gets through to Cloudpool, except for when she feels like someone is dismissing her feelings or actions. Then she can be very sensitive to what cats may say about her. She cares, and deeply, some might say too deeply. As part of her caring for others, she has a tendency to fiercely attach herself to some cats, and then become oblivious to any wrongs they may commit. The first of these is her mate Blackwing, and then her three kits who she loves unconditionally. She tolerates almost anything from these cats, but should something eventually happen that would break her trust or her relationship with them, it would be absolutely devastating to her psyche and likely end in some pretty impressive fireworks of emotions.
See, that is one of Cloudpool's greatest weaknesses. Emotions, are important, but she is not always in control of them, which is ironic, because Cloudpool greatly dislikes when there is uncertainty in the air, or when things are changing and no one knows what is going on. She thrives in structure, security, certainty. When things start to break down, so does she. And usually that means she becomes both emotionally clingy, very sensitive, and especially in need of support.
History:
Cloudpool was born to two warriors, Daisyface and Moleclaw. An unremarkable couple, but then again, to be a good warrior one does not necessarily need to be remarkable, so long as you are dedicated. Cloudkit had three siblings, a large litter. With her were Ospreykit, Sprucekit, and Spiderkit, all cantankerous toms, all very annoying little kits. Well at least they seemed annoying to Cloudkit. She grew up trying to join in their games, but lways being ignored, so she decided to ignore them as well.
When she reached apprenticeship age, she truly began to find a path in life. She befriended an older apprentice by the name of Blackpaw, who was something of a brooding tom. Cloudpaw saw his pain and frustration though, and made an effort to befriend him, to gain his trust and his friendship. In return, he took care of her. It wasn't long before he became a warrior unfortunately, and she spent several moons as an apprentice looking forward to the day when she would be a warrior and be able to see Blackwing more often. She tried her best, even though she was never particularly skilled, and became Cloudpool at 12 moons. Her excitement was shared by Blackwing, and once she could, Cloudpool built a nest next to his, chattering him to sleep every night. It wasn't long before they ended up simply sharing a nest, and only few moons after that she was expecting a litter of kits.
It was then that she discovered that being a queen was her vocation in life. She moved into the nursery immediately, helping care for other queen's kits until her own came, and then lavishing all the love and attention possible on them. While she was often exasperated by her two white terrors, she held a great motherly pride for Whitekit. She was the closest with him, all through his apprenticeship into warriorhood. Eventually her other two adorable troublemakers also became apprentices and warriors, but it was a long and exhausting process for Cloudpool.
However that did not keep her from wanting more kits, and not long after her kits had become warriors she tried convincing Blackwing to try for more kits. While Skyfall and his siblings led their lives as warriors, Cloudpool devoted herself completely as a queen, helping in the nursery as much as possible, and pestering Blackwing about another litter.
It was the Leaf-fall before last that Cloudpool found herself expecting again. Ecstatic, she prepared for her kits, creating a lavish nest in the nursery, cooing warm stories at the kits growing in her belly, and relishing in the excitement. Blackwing was more amused than anything at her attitude, but he supported her. Unfortunately Cloudpool contracted an illness from the cold, this along with the lack of prey, ended with her losing the four tiny kits. Devastated, Cloudpool spent nearly a full moon in the medicine den, and a full season in the warriors den, enveloped in a black fog of despair and depression. Eventually she managed to drag herself from the warriors den, and back to the nursery, and lost herself once more in her work. It has been nearly four full seasons since then, and this Leafbare was the worst. As it marked the anniversary of the loss of her kits. She struggled, but managed to make it through. Now she is helping prepare for the new litters of kits coming soon.
