She had spent most of her day helping her warriors in team to carve out paths to basic locations like the dirt-place and where they got water. The leader had wanted to ask the white she-cat where that knowledge came from but that question was lost in the day. Instead of seeking out the she-cat Firestar had instead learned that a certain young kit was finally old enough to join the ranks of apprentices. While Firestar had remained fairly updated with who was in the nursery, she had to admit to herself that the Cricketkit wasn't in her main train of thought. The young tom-kit had been dealt a heavy hand by StarClan. She didn't know the sense of loss that he did but she would ensure that his future would remain bright as long as he remained a diligent apprentice. A few well timed bounds and the small calico leader was on top the hill, looking downward at her clanmates. Most had sought shelter to remain warm until the next day, nights had become dreadful in their tree barren landscape. Her amber eyes scanned those who entered camp and saw very few bunches of prey.
