BLACKFIRE of TreeClan 28 Moons. She-Cat. Warrior
Blackfire, wake up, Lionstar wants you and Wildsky to go hunting now. She opened an eye to see an apprentice in front of her and she yawned lightly. "If I go hunting then who does the patrolling?" She answered back sarcastically to the apprentice. But this apprentice would hear none of it. She took a moment to realize that it was Emberpaw, Rowanberry's apprentice. He doesn't trust you, which is why you are hunting. Now go. The little she-cat then left and that left Blackfire thinking on how many ways she could make the apprentice rue the day for talking to her like that. But she left her nest and she walked over to Wildsky's.
She didn't care if she was breaking a personal space border, but she prodded him with a paw. Gently or not, her was going to wake up, and once he did, she looked at him. "Get up. Apparently Lionstar wants us to go hunting. Apparently we aren't trusted along the borders for a patrol." Venom could be detected in her voice, and she could careless. One of these days though, she expected a cat to try and put her in her place, oh wait, that already happened. She now was starting to realize why Lionstar didn't trust her on the borders.
She had gotten into that skirmish with NightClan, and she even took that apprentice, what was her name..Nightpaw, as a hostage. Yeah, that could play a lot into this. She shrugged and she walked from the den and to the kill pile. She was going to eat first, or she wouldn't be bringing a lot of food back for the clans. She sighed though as she waited for her hunting partner. She knew about Wildsky, he was an apprentice of Adderstrike as well, and he was younger than her but not by much. But he was still a lot like her, or at least, that is what she has been told as of late. She kind of liked the tom, or at least the personality part of him, she would have to wait and see to see if anything could happen, which she doubted.
She was not one for settling and having kits. But maybe continuing her bloodline would work one day.

Wildsky
It wasn't quite the awakening that the pale grey tabby tom had been expecting, to say the least. Wildsky hadn't been in a particularly deep sleep and so the firm prod in the side quickly roused him and he awoke to found a pair of yellow eyes blinking back at him. A little disgruntled by such an awakening, it took several moments for the warrior to process the words of the cat before him.
"Get up. Apparently Lionstar wants us to go hunting. Apparently we aren't trusted along the borders for a patrol." Blackfire, the pale grey tabby realised, giving a brisk shake of his pelt. He couldn't say he knew the tortoiseshell she-cat particularly well, he'd only interacted with her in scarce few occasions, but from what he'd seen, she seemed decent enough a cat to go hunting with. She would certainly make better company than the likes of some of his clanmates, not to name names or anything. Her bluntness might have irritated some, but Wildsky preferred her straight to the point attitude.
"Not trusted for a border patrol?" the young warrior echoed, giving himself a shake before heaving himself to stiff limbs, "That's somewhat offensive." Inwardly, the pale grey tabby tom didn't entirely blame Lionstar for such a decision. The golden tabby leader was somewhat soft when if came to borders, Wildsky had only ever acted with aggression towards the other clans when they needed putting in their place, "Well, I suppose he does have his reasons."
His jaws parted in a wide yawn and the pale grey tabby warrior paused momentarily where he stood before moving briskly towards the den exit, "Better get going whilst the day is still young," he meowed, quickly shedding the cloak of weariness and getting straight to business, "Have you got any spots in mind for hunting?" he asked the tortoiseshell she-cat. His gaze remained trained upon his fellow warrior for a moment before letting his eyes stray to the skies above. It seemed like a reasonable day; there was a light covering of clouds, but the air was warm. There didn't seem to be any signs of rain at least. That was a good sign.

BLACKFIRE of TreeClan 28 Moons. She-Cat. Warrior
She noticed him wake as soon as she prodded him and she was happy about that, even though it didn't show. She was just glad that he wasn't like some of the apprentices and needing a long amount of prodding. Though she could tell that he was sarcastic in his voice just like she was, but she knew that he spoke the truth when his vocals reached her ears. She nodded lightly and agreed. "Not just somewhat, I find that a great amount offensive. If we are so bad on border patrols, doesn't that mean that the other clans are as well?" She let her voice wonder but she focused on the tom. She scoffed though when Wildsky said that Lionstar had to have his reasons. Whatever reasons those are, we should be allowed to know. She kept her thoughts just where they were, in her mind.
But when he brushed past her to leave the den, she was startled back to the present. She sighed and follows the tom out. She really didn't want to hunt, she wanted to patrol, but she had no say at all. The tortoiseshell she-cat followed close after him though and she heard his next question. She thought on it and gave no real answer. She didn't hunt that much, she was more one for making sure that the borders were safe. But she did have the one place where she always hunted. "Let's go to the wildflower clearing. It may be bright and obnoxious, but we should be able to find some good prey there." She was gonna let him lead, but if he wanted her to lead, she would.
For some reason, she got a bad feeling, but she let it pass. If another cat was stupid enough to come onto TreeClan lands, well, they were stupid. Soon the bad feeling left and she focused on finding the prey that had to be hiding where they were now.

Wildsky
The pale grey tabby tom paused momentarily in the clearing, letting Blackfire's words wash over him for a moment, contemplating her suggestion. The Wildflower Meadow... It seemed like a perfectly reasonable idea and, having no reason to argue against it, Wildsky gave a quite nod of the head to acknowledge his agreement.
Taking a further moment to drink in the light, the TreeClan warrior finally drew in a deep breath and began to tread the way towards the camp exit, his gaze set upon the path ahead and his pace neither hurried nor slow, simply with purpose. His eyes briefly shifted to the tortoiseshell she-cat to check that she was keeping up. He could've had far worse company, the pale grey tabby decided, and so he attempted to spark up some small talk whilst they travelled, waiting until they'd entered the lush green of the forest before at last turning to her.
"I don't suppose you've heard of any more happenings on the NightClan border?" he queried, curios to see if she had any pearls of wisdom on the matter to offer to him, "You don't think there actually will be a war?" Although the young warrior managed to conceal it somewhat, the prospect of war and conflict excited Wildsky just as much as others feared it. He hadn't experienced much of the thrills of battle since his apprentice days and although, realistically, he hadn't been a warrior for all that long, those moons felt like seasons ago.
The grass stirred slightly beneath each of Wildsky's pawsteps, birdsong light upon the air, but the TreeClanner paid little notice to his surrounding. That wasn't to say he wasn't aware of what was going on around him. Despite having woken up mere moments before, Wildsky had quickly assumed hunting moment, his ears detecting the slightest of movement and his body ready to leap into action and bring down his prey, regardless of whether his prey was food or a fiend.
Having fallen quiet for a while to allow Blackfire to respond, the pale grey tabby tom added a few further words, "I'm surprised Lionstar hasn't acted upon all these tensions," he mewed, whiskers twitching, "If I were in his place, I would have long since launched an attack. TreeClan are certainly strong enough and it would surely be a quick and easy victory and put an end to those mouse-hearted scum stirring up trouble."
Hate for the clan of the night had long since been imprinted upon the pale grey tabby tom, rooted from the prey-stealing incidents in which NightClan had consistently been taking TreeClan prey. In some respects Wildsky was glad he hadn't been assigned to a patrol, that would mean the chance of happening upon a NightClan patrol and, frankly, the pale grey tabby tom didn't want to look upon their faces. He didn't blame Lionstar at all for choosing not to assign him to a patrol, he would surely attack and disrespecting NightClan warrior given half the chance.

BLACKFIRE of TreeClan 28 Moons. She-Cat. Warrior
She noticed that he had stopped to think and she waited for him to say otherwise, but that didn't happen. When he started out of the camp she followed after him, at her own speed, that still matched his just a little slower. After a little bit she quickened her pace to catch up with him. Which was lucky since he decided to speak right as she did that. Her ear flicked to him before she turned to look at him and she shrugged as she stopped beside him. Anything else that had happened on the NightClan border. She thought about it and shook her head then. "Nope, nothing since the skirmish I was with." As she thought of that, her tail flicked a little with anger. Stupid Blackwolf, stupid NightCLan.
She thought about the war part and a part of her danced with the thought. "If there is, I will right there in the front row." She wanted to take the flesh from some Nightclanners at the moment, especially Blackwolf and his litter apprentice. That little black furball needed some fur taken from her hide. She dropped her thoughts and looked back at Wildsky as he spoke once more. A small smiled formed on her face. She was starting to like Wildsky more and more, for he was a bit like her. She nodded though and voiced her own opinion. "Lionstar needs to make an attack. NightClan needs to learn their place, and that is with their tails between their legs."
Some wonder where she got her aggression from, but she knew exactly from where, her father. That seemed to be the only good thing that that tom had been good for. Well and for creating her. The more she stood there and thought about NightClan, the more she wanted to go adn make her own patrol. She sighed though and looked at Wildsky. "No point in wasting time about thinking of where we would rather be. Let's hunt shall we?" She didn't give him a chance to speak before she went to her right following the scent of a rodent. She followed it to a shrub to see that the rodent had already gone to its hole before she turned back to Wildsky and rolled her eyes.

W I L D S K Y
To be in the company of someone like Blackfire, who he was alike in opinion with, was a pleasantry that Wildsky wasn't quite accustomed to. It seemed that, generally, most of his clanmates, stood by Lionstar's decisions and agreed with him. Wildsky was one of the minority that actually questioned golden tabby tom's authority rather than following his words blindly like sheep. A frown weighed upon his features at the thought of the manner in which some of his clanmates spoke of their leader, painting him in a glowing, golden light. The pale grey tabby tom did respect his leader, a little bit at least, but it was hard to stand by his decisions with the undying loyalty that some of clanmates bore. Wildsky sometimes thought, privately, that he could make a better leader himself. He heaved a sigh, but, alas, his leader didn't entirely trust him, dashing his chances of ever being named TreeClan's deputy. In honesty, Wildsky could understand why the lion-like tom wasn't as trusting of him as some of his clanmates, but he thought that his obvious potential to be a leader TreeClan could actually proud of would outweigh his distrust. It seemed not, heck, he wasn't even trusted on a border patrol.
"No point in wasting time thinking of where we would rather be. Let's hunt, shall we?" The pale grey tabby warrior gave a nod in response to the tortoiseshell she-cat's words, "Certainly." The words hadn't even left his jaws when Blackfire suddenly veered off to the right, clearly having scented something worth hunting. The pale grey tabby tom dropped to a crouch as not to taint her chances of making a catch, drinking in a deep breath and tasting the air to try and establish what it was that she'd noticed. Some sort of rodent. Investigating a nearby shrub, his companion soon turned to face him, her expression telling him all he needed to know.
Rising to his paws, Wildsky gave a sharp flick of his tail, "Pity," his gaze lingered upon the she-cat for a moment before travelling to the path ahead, "Let's keep moving. I'm sure something more worthwhile will turn up." Giving a brisk shake of his whiskers, the pale grey tabby warrior resumed his steady pace, this time paying more attention to the many scents that hung upon the air. With luck, they wouldn't need to travel far before coming across more prey. TreeClan's territory was bursting with life now that Green-leaf had at last declared its presence.
Confirming his thoughts, the strong scent of squirrel soon greeted the young warrior. Wildsky had never been the most skilled of hunters when compared to some of his clanmates, but he wasn't appalling. Perhaps if he and Blackfire worked together they could make the catch? Lifting his eyes to their surroundings, he let the scent guide his paws until he found himself pressed low to the ground, shielded from sight by a juniper bush. Here he could at last sight the creature, nibbling upon an acorn, totally oblivious to the two hunters that watched it.
Turning to the she-cat, he spoke in an almost inaudible tone as not to startle their prey, "If we work together on this, I think we should be able to make a catch quite easily," he told her, "If you lie in wait by that oak tree over there"- he indicated to the tree in mention -"then I can leap out and drive it towards you. Okay?"

BLACKFIRE of TreeClan 28 Moons. She-Cat. Warrior
Wildsky was different from the rest of the clan, but kind of like her, which seemed to make this trip a little more bare-able for her. She liked Lionstar, he was a good leader, but there were some things that he could do better, like deal with NightClan and LightningClan. He could even deal with the rouges and loners a little better. Blackfire dealt with her own nightmare a few moons ago, The tortoiseshell she-cat let her thoughts go and she looked at the grey tabby and saw that he was still thinking too, but came back when she had spoken to him. She chuckled lightly but nodded lightly. She received his agreement, and she started toward the rodent that she has scented, only to lose it.
She had never said that she was a great hunter, she was more of a fighter than anything, but hunting was something that she knew she had to do for the clan, so she gave no disappointment to it. When he rose to his paws though and his tail flicked, she keep her thoughts as just that, thoughts. She hated criticism, and that is what she expected, but it didn't come, so she relaxed. Maybe hunting and patrolling with this tom would be any better than anyone else in the clan, and she was liking this. But she let her thoughts leave as Wildsky spoke to her then.
She let him follow then and she focused on finding anything that he might have missed, but when nothing came to her, but to him instead, she stopped beside him. She made sure that her body was covered by the juniper bush as well, and she looked at him as he spoke."If we work together on this, I think we should be able to make a catch quite easily." She looked at the critter than and she thought on it. He must not have been much of a hunter, like her, but then, he had a point, if they tag teamed it, they could bring it home.
"If you lie in wait by that oak tree over there," She looked at the tree that he indicated to before he spoke once more. "then I can leap out and drive it towards you. Okay?" She looked at Wildsky and nodded. "That sounds like a plan." She moved her body from the bush and slowly and quietly made her way over to the tree and she laid down under one of the juniper bushes that surrounded it. Now, she waited.
