Name: Hollykit -> Hollypaw -> Hollystorm
Age: 3 Moons
Gender: She-Cat
Clan: NightClan
Rank: Kit
Age: 3 Moons
Gender: She-Cat
Clan: NightClan
Rank: Kit
Description: A lissome shadow of a kitten, Hollykit has inherited her mother’s more petite bone structure and fuller, longer coat, one of her more distinctive features being a bushy tail. Black fur dominates nearly the entirety of her body save for a splash of white on the back of her ear, almost as if StarClan wanted to keep tabs on the daughter of Blackwolf and Ghostlight. She will be tall like her father, but without sacrificing her more feminine proportions and looking too much like one of her brothers: narrow shoulders, slender frame, neat, dainty paws. She was not built for climbing, and will likely never enjoy any training sessions that involve scaling one of the massive pines on NightClan’s territory, Hollykit excelling in the more practical areas of ambush and maneuverability.
Though her name stems from the darkness of her fur, Hollykit will grow up and shed the baby blue coloration of her eyes and take on the crisp green she was meant to have – a nice contrast from her primarily blue-eyed family.
Description Summary: A black she-cat with medium-length fur, green eyes and a splash of white on the back of her ear.
Personality:Everyone stand to attention, the princess has entered the building.
There are a few side effects of being the daughter of Blackwolf and Ghostlight; this more or less means that Hollykit's been packed with a double dosage of snark, sarcasm and a blatant disregard for how others perceive them. In her earlier moons and into apprenticeship, she'll be noticeably friendlier than either parent, but how long that will last is anycat's bet. Her personality has a natural inclination towards her own signature brand of meanness, which can sometimes measure up to little more than a snarky comment here or a ridiculing remark there, there's no telling if she'll get the bullying gene too and form her own little clique.
As with a majority of 'teenagers', Hollykit will go through a phase where she wants absolutely nothing to do with Blackwolf and sometimes Ghostlight; sick of her father's ego and his reputation, she may attempt to forge her own path, preferring to be independent rather than stand in his shadow and risk the crushing gravity of his arrogance. She has her own fair share of it, but it won't take her long to realize that it's a little misplaced; contrary to whatever he's told them growing up, being Blackwolf's daughter does not make you royalty. If anyone's going to place a crown upon her head, Hollykit's determined to do it herself. Her annoying father can just butt out, thanks!
Could she be aspiring to become deputy one day? She's certainly not telling.
For now, she's concentrating on reaching apprenticehood, and then surpassing her 'old man' in warriorhood. If the fates deem her worthy to be Hollystar, she'd be the last cat complaining about it -- though the obnoxious smothering she's likely to get from both parents might be enough to make her turn down such a distinction. Despite whatever respect she may have for the position of deputy and leader, Hollykit doesn't have much respect for some of the senior warriors, and especially not the elders; she's too young to really grasp the concept of 'retirement', and she unconsciously picks up on her father's opinions that some of them have gotten 'cranky, lazy and older than dust'. It's likely she'll maintain this haughty nature of hers until she gets some sort of wake up call - or a cuff around the ears, whichever comes first.
Hollykit does have one role model apart from her mother, however, and that's Ravenstar. She doesn't fully grasp that Ravenstar is kitten-sized, it never occurred to her that their great leader could be teased for anything, let alone her size; it was the poise and the 'devil may care' attitude Ravenstar carries herself with that first caught Hollykit's attention. Viewing her as an Aunt of sorts, Hollykit's going to be one of Ravenstar's biggest supporters in later moons.
History: StarClan knew this day was coming. The day when Blackwolf would at last go forth and multiply, changing NightClan and possibly the fate of the world, forever. Kitted by Ghostlight, a she-cat of sharp wit and the only holder of Blackwolf’s heart, were three dark kittens who embodied the hopes (and ego) of one of NightClan’s most infamous warriors. First came Bonekit, named after the deceased deputy, Boneshadow, and then came Hollykit, the only she-cat, followed up her father's little doppelganger, Coyotekit. It was if the moment they opened their eyes, they were dubbed little princesses and princelings by the unofficial authority of their parents, and the kits flourished in the wake of their father's reputation; already there were whispers circulating around NightClan as to what sort of feats (of bravery or bullying) they would each grow up to perform.
Hollykit's temperament is leaning towards a more progressive, take-charge sort of personality, likely modeled after Ghostlight's and Ravenstar's 'no nonsense' vibes when something goes wrong. Rather than bully her siblings into following her, she seems to have a knack for gaining their support without forcing it out of them - something her father seems to have never quite learned.
RP Example: this is only required for leaders, deputies, medicine cats and their apprentices. At least 150 words.
Other: anything else that you want to tell us about the cat that doesn't fit above. If you are making a leader bio, you need to put the 9 gifts your leader received with their lives, which cats gave them their lives and how the cats were close to them (See Ravenstar's bio for an example)
