Twigpaw
~*~
The tabby tom was bored, and only one good thing could come out of that. Adventure. With small paws moving at a smooth, steady pace, it wasn't long before the 8 moon old apprentice found himself out of the camp, and in unfamiliar ground. Of course, Twigpaw didn't care. As the ground gave way to sand, the tom found himself confused and somewhat annoyed at the new feeling. He let out a hiss of annoyance, but bit his tongue when he saw a small, yet scaled creature, seeming to bathe itself on a rock, in the sun. Twigpaw cocked his head to the side, studying the odd creatures movement. Pushing off with hind paws, he lunged at it, missing it by a mouse length. The lizard raced away, skittering sand everywhere and sending the apprentice into a new kind of game. He would race after the creature, pouncing on it's tail for a moment before releasing it and giving chase again. The tom purred in amusement at the little game. But with his gaze so focused on the lizard, he didn't see the small rock it was about to squeeze under, sending Twigpaw head first into the rock.
He let out a screech of surprise, followed by a hiss of annoyance. His pelt was a mess and if it wasn't already hard to groom, he was going to have the taste of sand in his mouth for moons. Twigpaw sat back on his haunches, lifting a paw and rubbing his head ever so slightly before he allowed himself to just simply flop over into the sand. Now his energy was gone and his head hurt, but he had no interest in finding his way home. Now that he thought of it, the sun did feel kind of nice on his fur. Hauling himself to his paws, the tabby pulled himself onto the highest rock he could find, standing up for a moment, and pretending to be the leader of a non existent Clan. "I Twigstar, now claim this as my Clan, and I shall lead it like the many leaders before." He purred at his own little joke before settling onto the rock, his tail pulled over his nose, and amber eyes watching the movements that filled the area curiously.
