Name: Brightkit Brightpaw Brightpool
Age: 13 Moons
Gender: She-cat
Clan: LightingClan
Rank: Warrior
Picture:Kitten Adult
Description: Slender and small, Brightpool is a petite she-cat, just growing a little over the size of an average apprentice, it's a wonder she is able o become a warrior. Not allowing her size to be a an issue, Brightpool learned how to be quick and nimble in her battle movements and used her small size to sneak around enemies, she can always tag team battle very well and when partnered with the right cat the two of them are a great fighting force. The most noticeable feature is her brightly colored golden eyes. They bring a startling contrast from the pure whiteness of her face. Most of the year Brightpool remains short coated and it's fairly thin, in the winter time she struggles to remain warm, but has her siblings and a warm nest to do so.
Description Summary: A small white she-cat with bright amber eyes.
Personality: A small body for a small personality, Brightpool is shy and keeps to herself, but isn't afraid to make friends, but she is just awkward. Brightpool doesn't realize when she say something that isn't appropriate, she has the gift of sight, being able to see dead cats and talk with them, sometimes getting lucky and helping them reach StarClan, what the bad part is that she learns things about cats from their dead friends and sometimes blurts them out. She doesn't know limits on what should and shouldn't be said and that makes it difficult to make friends. Aside from sharing too much information about nearly everything, Brightpool doesn't give up on trying to help cats. Spending a lot of time doing little favors for everyone, Brightpool just wants to be helpful and does everything she can despite saving the wrong thing sometimes.
History: A kit born of two siblings but she never quite grew up. Brightkit wasn't close with either of them, she did play with them and learned some social grace, but it all came to a crashing halt when the warrior was brought home. His name was Hareclaw, a timid brown tom that died protecting his patrol. Brightkit was young nearly four moons when he stumbled back into camp, relying on the support of the other members of the patrol to bring him back. He died there right at the entrance of camp and while everyone gathered to born his brave sacrafice, Brightkit was drawn to the funny looking mist forming at his maw, it was like smokey but lighter, she watched it with some kind of fascination, wandering after it to the center of camp. The mist took a shape of that of the dead Hareclaw. He was puzzled to see Brightkit so doe-eyed and staring at him, he didn't say anything to her but turned and looked behind him, a cat had came down from what looked like a starry pathway said something that Brightkit couldn't hear and the two walked away. Brightkit was surprise and even asked Kindlekit if she saw it too but her sister brushed it off and Brightkit realized that she was he only one to see it.
As they grew up and Brightkit became Brightpaw, she was given to Mousepelt for training, a like sized she-cat that was able to teach Brightpaw how to use her size for advantage. Mousepelt was a steady mentor a little more demanding than Brightpaw was used to it but she did her best to learn from her mentor. Most of her training had been spent learning that she didn't see many spirits but one day while she was hunting as part of a test she came across a very frazzled looking spirit. He was a an older apprentice and claimed to know Mousepelt from before her warrior hood, claiming he was her brother. Brightpaw asked her mentor that evening about him and felt a little bad about it since Mousepelt looked so sad, Brightpaw couldn't bring herself to telling Mousepelt how she knew about her brother who passed so many moons ago, but in the light of a half moon she traveled back to the spot where she saw his spirit, told him that Mousepelt was safe and happy. There with a content on his face the apprentice relaxed enough and in a beautiful show of StarClan's powers, a starry pathway formed, the apprentice found his way to StarClan. In that moment Brightpaw realized her role in life, help out cats that were stuck in between the living and StarClan.
Her brother's ceremony was before her own but she pushed herself harder and was able to become a warrior just four moons after her brother, Brightpool her warrior name. She is new to her rank and after Mousepelt gave her a nod and a few words of wisdom, she hadn't spoken a word to her, Brightpool feels it was because of how forward she was about Mousepelt's brother's death. It is clear that Brightpool needs to learn some social graces.
