The Hopeless Romantic
[attr="class","charactertext"]
Leaf Where Dragonfly Rests is slightly larger than the average-sized she-cat, with thick, velutinous fur enveloping her frame. The damsel has a rich chocolate pigment throughout her coat, which shimmers in the luminosity of the day. She keeps her pelage groomed and cleanly, preferring to portray an appearance of elegance. Overall, she has a rounder physique, prominent spheroidal eyes, and a plush countenance. Her visage is a yellowish-brown hue, almost hazel, and nearly blending in with her fur color. Her stature is lissome, with notable muscle throughout her legs. From an outside perspective, she may appear like a prey-hunter from afar, but in closer proximity, she is pretty clearly on the larger side, to others' surprise. She carries herself tall, tail raised and feathered out, possessing the confidence that others wouldn't assume out of her. She stands out in a crowd regarding her more irregular coloration in her silky pelt. Dragonfly has a mauve nose, peeking through with long, kinky whiskers and a broad, dainty maw.
Leaf Where Dragonfly Rests has a very cordial, courteous soul; pleasant and easy to approach. She loved conversing with others amidst her, even those who weren't a part of the Tribe of Forgotten Waters. Particularly loners, or rogues, refusing to speak to anyone to reside in a Clan or originated from one of them. Dragonfly expresses a charismatic approach toward nearly everyone. The damsel takes delight in uplifting others' confidence, enjoying the genuine responses she typically receives. She attempts to enlighten others by complimenting them or providing advice. Since her birth to the Tribe, Dragonfly has promised to work hard and challenge herself, and she is deemed a dedicated member of the Tribe. The mademoiselle took pride in her duties as a Cave-Guard, devoting herself to protecting who she must. It's rather challenging for Dragonfly to bite her tongue, known for her brutally honest mentality. She wouldn't back down from standing her ground, speaking forthrightly at any moment given. She will not likely keep her thoughts or opinions to herself, always open to sharing what she desires. She hasn't encountered anyone to depend on growing up, only counting on her Guide to acquaint her with becoming a robust and resilient Cave-Guard. She has developed into an independant she-cat, leaning on herself for answers to her questions, exploring the world on her lonesome. She doesn't tend to burden anyone with the thing she may need assistance with, preferring to do things her way unless instructed otherwise by her higher authorities. Her independence doesn't define her loyalty to the Tribe or those she cares for; she is willing to jeopardize her life if vital.
Dragonfly appears to strut around confidently, possessing a breezy demeanor, typically expressing a mellow, informal behavior. Leaf Where Dragonfly Rests strolls everywhere with a crooked simper on her face, believing there's not much in life to fear. She persists in thriving on the exhilaration of merely living life, inclined to conquer any possible fears she may cross. If there's something that piques Dragonfly's curiosity, which is highly irregular, she will dwell on the subject of interest. She can be very contemplative, investing in critical thinking to ensure she's making a good decision. She often broods, especially when crucial quick decisions render faulty reactions. Dragonfly reflects on her circumstances, usually stuck on whether or not she'll regret things later on. Despite her normal breezy appearance, the damsel can be overwhelmingly outspoken, quick to speak her mind, even if her opinions are controversial. One of the things she voices erroneously would be the Clans, especially the new former clans who joined after the Earthquake. Her abhorrence for the Clans has become more prominent, bewildered by their seemingly more provincial regulations. She doesn't convey as a playful feline, though; once she's opened up, the molly is quite whimsical. She often makes witty remarks in a hearty tone, meaning no harm. They're not passive-aggressive, but these teasing jokes can be harsh if she dislikes the individual she's speaking to. She enjoys hearing a laugh from those she cherishes, which brings light to her days.
Upon meeting someone new, Dragonfly's cautious of their presence, thoughtless of whether or not they can endure her. The damsel will maintain at least a tail-length, positioned on her toes as she scrutinizes the other in her vision. She doesn't take well to felines who approach her, attempting to be the first every time. Leaf Where Dragonfly Rests doesn't show much inquisitiveness, incurious of the lives of others outside the Tribe. Sometimes, she shows no interest in those amidst her, preferring to prosper on her lonesome. Deep down, she prayed she'd find someone who encouraged her curiosity that lay below. She is somewhat of a hopeless romantic, assuming that love is much more substantial than others acknowledge. If she isn't trekking around with her usual grin, Dragonfly portrays a phlegmatic disposition, self-assured. She isn't arrogant, but she does recognize her worth. Such a levelheaded demeanor might make it challenging for others to observe and comprehend her, but that's the point; she wouldn't allow anyone to pick her apart without consent. She prefers to speak for herself, imprudent of the consequences. Dragonfly isn't much of an open book as she perceives herself to be. She mainly shifts her attention toward others, avoiding the concept of herself; she doesn't talk about herself often. She has a very evident carefree spirit.

Backstory
LOVE IS COMPOSED OF A SINGLE
SOUL INHABITING TWO BODIES.
SOUL INHABITING TWO BODIES.
◉ BIRTH
Leaf Where Dragonfly Rests was born into the tribe, birthed by Hiss of Striking Viper and Howl of Burly Wolf. She was birthed next to her sister, Surging Fire Through Forest, and her brother, Rush of Plunging Water. The parents were stringent but would love their children to the best of their abilities. They were one of the pairs who merely reproduced to keep the Tribe of Forgotten Waters thriving with members and fresh blood to strengthen. Their mother, Howl of Burly Wolf, was a resilient damsel with a strong-willed persona, while their father was an intimidating menace with a profound, soft soul. Hiss of Striking Viper stressed to his mate that he prayed their children would grow strong, considering Rush and Forest were smaller, appearing somewhat ill and fragile upon birth. Meanwhile, the last born, Dragonfly, was born healthy, harboring a more considerable physique. The kits were taken under the Skyteller's wing in recovery, and within the next few moons, they were on their path to growing powerful.
◉ KITHOOD
Dragonfly hadn't spent much time around her siblings for the first two moons of their lives, as they required medical attention to improve their health and strength. Despite being the youngest of the three, she was the largest and would grow protective over her sister and brother. The other kits often teased Rush and Forest for their diminished, rugged appearances. The case of her siblings bullies may have developed her outspoken demeanor, keen on making her thoughts known to those amongst her. Dragonfly hadn't been the most aggressive, as she preferred to keep the peace between everyone, but as she aged, this one only proved more difficult for her. Around five moons, Rush was being shoved around by two considerably-sized cats, clearly guided by a cave-guard in their apprenticeship. The stress in Rush's face had caused fumes in her visage, "H-Hey! You stop that! Leave him alone!" she would voice, trying to shoo the older toms. However, instead, they called over another cat, a she-cat in particular. She was a brute, striking a blow to the side of Dragonfly's crania, "You're awful. Don't you think you should live with those wretched clan cats? That's where you belong, certainly not here! We are better than that here in the Tribe." She mewed, staggering toward the to-be. The two started to tumble and roll, kicking up dirt before their parents shrouded the scene and scolded the group of kittens.
Fortunately, Dragonfly never received unwelcomed remarks, but hearing her siblings being shredded apart by a group of snarky to-bes, had sparked a raging blaze within her. It occurred more than once, and she began to lose hope for the future of the Tribe. She desired to view the Tribe as a beautiful thing, but it was challenging amidst the bitter to-bes. At first, she believed the Tribe was full of ruthless felines, but when the time came for her to be mentored, she was given a Guide who changed her perspective of the Tribe. The tom's name was Moss That Climbs Tree, and he was delightful in Dragonfly's visage. The tom's greeting was warm and welcoming, harboring guileless blue eyes, which intrigued Dragonfly from her first impression of him. Sure, she consumed time learning from every other tribemate, but Moss was her proper Guide, and he ensured the sessions were fun and seamless.

◉ GUIDANCE
Dragonfly had a great feeling she would enjoy training with her guide, Moss That Climbs Tree. Perhaps it was his extraordinary course of words and encouragement keeping Leaf Where Dragonfly Rests on her toes. There wasn't one lesson that she deemed tedious or uneventful, considering Moss expressed care about her training, wishing she'd become a successful Cave-Guard. Her siblings were assigned to prey-hunters, probably due to their more lenient build, quick with a good sense of how to track others. She made sure to spend time with her siblings, considering the different paths they'd taken in their lives. Rush appeared slightly envious of Dragonfly, but she hadn't refused to express her awareness of his jealousy. She often reassured him that he would be a fantastic prey-hunter, proud that her sister appreciated the rank she'd eventually earn in return for working hard. Dragonfly disagreed with Rush's disappointment, as he'd done very well with hunting, unable to understand why he couldn't show gratitude toward the Tribe. She believed he was somewhat conceited since he was doing an excellent with sessions, so why desire to change ranks?
Nonetheless, Dragonfly resumed her training, primarily concentrating on herself while periodically taking the time to communicate with her siblings. She mostly avoided Rush, as she didn't wish to bring his pessimism into her mindset. She loved her brother, but he was often too much with his negative disposition, expecting he'd someday take delight in hunting for the Tribe. Moss often had to redirect Dragonfly's focus, regarding her concern for her siblings, due to their parent's stringency in becoming dutiful tribe members. Dragonfly mostly retrieved praise from their parents, while Rush and Forest received constant, constructive criticism. It may have been because her parents were prey-hunters, and Dragonfly was the first Cave-Guard in her family's genes. She learned techniques her parents had hardly known about, so it was challenging for them even to make any claims about Dragonfly's efforts. However, she knew her siblings worked very hard, especially her sister, because she relished her future rank. Dragonfly hadn't understood her parents' objections. The she-cat had earned her new position relatively young, at fourteens moons, the earliest age a to-be can undergo the Rite of Passage.

◉ LIFE AS A CAVE-GUARD
Leaf Where Dragonfly Rests enjoyed the Rite of Passage, undergoing the tasks with apprehension within her, though coming out strong and successful. She learned there was no reason to doubt herself, fending off each predator she crossed paths with. She succeeded with little struggle, glorified by her parents for her new rank. Around the time she completed her tasks, her siblings decided they'd undergo the trial together. The two returned their prey with haste, and it was terrifying that Rush merely missed out on the piece of prey from the sky, though he held his ground. Dragonfly was proud of herself, Rush and Forest were delighted that her siblings hadn't failed the Rite. Dragonfly was amazed that her siblings excelled but wasn't surprised at their hard work ethic to complete the Rite efficiently. Dragonfly attempted to redeem her relationship with Rush, who seemed to set his arrogance aside with a considerably better perspective of his position in the Tribe of Forgotten Waters. The to-bes who bullied Rush and Forest prior hadn't made clever comments to the newly established prey-hunters, accompanied by their assertive cave-guard sister, Dragonfly.
Leaf Where Dragonfly Rests was ecstatic to commence this new chapter in life, wondering how she became a Cave-Guard out of the three siblings. Among the three siblings, Dragonfly possessed the most nonchalant attitude with her candid moments. She enjoyed accompanying her sister or brother during hunting sessions, joyous that she could remain close with them, despite their rankings in the Tribe. It was nearly impossible to break the bond the three maintained, as they'd always have one another and support each other's decisions. Over time, she conquered fears and acquired new techniques for future interactions with dangerous predators. She had earned a few minor scars that were hardly noticeable beneath her dense pelage of cocoa. Her life has been a breeze, and she's cherished every moment. Except, she often gets enmeshed in the vision of love, she's never truly experienced love. She's been a hopeless romantic for most of her life, consistently going through these kiddish infatuations.
One day, a pair of loners brought the kit into the paws of the Tribe, and her name was Cascade. The damsel was renamed Cascade of Pouring Rain, brought in due to the injuries she'd suffered from. She proved to have a charming spirit, one with fire. She introduced herself to the young kit, her father recognizing the youngster. He didn't dare attempt to form a bond with the kit, but Dragonfly did; she was family now. Before she knew it, an Earthquake had struck the Motherland, sending everyone in opposing directions. It was a moment to remember, and she always knew to look at things in the best view possible. However, when everything settled, some Clanners winded up in the Tribe. She was skeptical of how to feel, considering her father's sister was originally from the Clans and had neglected Cascade of Pouring Rain. She desired to protect her cousin, not wanting to see the damsel suffice more damage. Despite her honest demeanor, since the Quake, Dragonfly has expressed her distrust in the Clans when given the opportunity.
