Dandelionpaw TEXT
"Go ahead and take your time marking the border. Make sure you keep where others have before; we don't want any dispute, not now," Emberheart's orders were echoed with a confirmation meow from the dawn patrol. Dandelionpaw glanced in the direction of Sparkjaw, who flicked his tail for her to come near. "You can go alone for a bit, it will be good for you" He was kind in his suggestion, but Dandelionpaw couldn't help but feel put out. Cast aside, sent solo to be less of a nuisance. Not that she was overly talkative, or she didn't think herself to be. Instead of complaining or standing up for herself, Dandelionpaw heeded Sparkjaw's suggestion. Her calico pelt disappeared through the grass, following her nose.
She had to retrace her steps a few times, but she managed to re-scent a few markers until it occurred to her how far she had wandered. "Mousedung, This is GorgeClan" Her voice carried despite how tiny she felt. There was a small bit of confidence that she didn't wander far and could always retrace her scent back to the border. But something was keeping her there; she tucked into the shorter grass to avoid being seen right away. She finally settled on what it was, the distant chatter of another patrol. A prickle of panic traced over her spine, putting her on edge. She needed to get back to GaleClan, but it would take her more than a few seconds to find the correct way back.
"Just do it, Dandelionpaw, don't be a quail," She tried to force herself to move through her verbal pep-talk, but her paws refused until she was sure. Scenting the air, her nose was quickly overwhelmed with the coming GorgeClan scent and mixed scent of herbs she could still track. It was no use; she was lost in the grass. Mentally, she cursed her foolishness for wandering so far and not wholly understanding the new territory. To push through her anxiety about getting caught to at least head back in the direction, she assumed to be GaleClan. It would only be a matter of moments before Emberheart or Sparkjaw started to call for her. "If they remembered that you were with them,", That dark voice made itself known and served only to bring forth more uncertainty, enough to the world around her to teeter on the edge of being too much. Deciding she could spare a moment, Dandelionpaw flattered herself to the ground and sunk her claws into the grassy earth, waiting for the dread to move past her.
Don't be upset or mad at all Don't feel regret or sad at all Hey, I'm still a part of the family

Most would believe that Harepaw was no less of a sweetheart with an outgoing persona with such a diminutive size. However, he was much more than that and not so much a sweetheart with his humongous emotions. Harepaw was obnoxious or occasionally annoying by some younger apprentices interested in being mentored. Meanwhile, Harepaw felt as though he could accomplish acquiring skills on his own, though he was genuinely atrocious at fighting. He wasn't sure how he'd hone his skills independently but felt destined and empowered, followed by his fiery determination. This was nearly impossible, as he required a few training sessions to be considered a true warrior to see the light of his warrior ceremony. Harepaw was surprisingly more of a morning dweller than night, preferring to spend his time in the daylight. Not only that, but he attempted to get a glimpse of the sunrise daily and sunrise by night.
Despite planning on slipping out from the campsite, he had been stopped by fellow clanmates who were headed out on patrol. Fortunately, he was offered to be brought along, to which he obviously agreed to go. There had been a senior warrior named Beavergaze, followed by warriors Antflame and Sunwind. Of course, there was another apprentice named Slatepaw. Harepaw averted his body weight toward the group, a cheesy grin plastering amongst his brazen-faced simper. Known for this wild grin, it appeared as if this tomcat was always up to something. Indeed, he was a troublemaker picked apart by Elders on the occasion when he'd previously visited their den before the Earthquake. However, since the Earthquake, it was as if everything had entirely changed in his eyes. This wasn't the territory he was familiar with, a scoff escaping his mandibles as the patrol carried onward. He'd hoped they would allow him to go off on his own, to explore the depths of the newly claimed territory.
Harepaw knew he could be rather annoying, but he found Slatepaw redundant, with his arrogant and perfect personality. Or so, that's how he felt Slatepaw mirrored himself. Harepaw wondered how many would actually swoon for what seemed to be a hopeless romantic. He didn't particularly like how confident the other appeared, as with one flick, it was as if the tower would disintegrate. But what did he know? He wasn't close with the other, nor should he be so judgmental. It was very infrequent when it occurred that Harepaw didn't like someone, as he loved everybody and gave everyone a shot. Therefore, if there was ever a time, he would be willing to try to befriend him, whether he thought highly of himself. Perhaps Harepaw was reflecting, as he thought highly enough of himself that he didn't need authority, a mentor to lecture him. As the patrol exited the campsite and began to re-scent the territory of GorgeClan, Beavergaze averted his azure visage toward Harepaw, "You may attempt to re-scent some areas, make sure to return safely. I'm trusting you." That alone meant a lot to Harepaw, only amplifying his determination and confidence.
It was a chilly morning; clouds moved in the morning sky, kissed into brilliant white by the sun. They moved south toward the ocean, together yet independent. Gaps widened and closed, one slid right under another, and they constantly changed shape. As the day carried on, he had a feeling the clouds would possibly shift, revealing a clearer cerulean abyss above. Harepaw shuffled forward, finding himself wandering toward the borderline between GorgeClan and GaleClan. He shook his crania and, with a sheepish chuckle, "Perhaps this wasn't the greatest idea, but I am sure I can handle whatever comes my way!" The daring tom uttered, merely apprehensive of the situation before him. Harepaw was a very odd form of what the clans would say, a future warrior. He could barely follow directions, let alone listen to them in the first place. Making this feline a warrior, in general, was no easy task with such a short attention span. Most felt that Harepaw was impossible with his stretch of an attitude.
Little did Harepaw know, he was at the Dried Creek, bordering GaleClan and GorgeClan. Shortly, Beavergaze and the others would cross paths with him to assure his safety. Unexpectedly, a strong aroma struck his nasal passages, informing him that a few or just one, GaleClan member was near. His physique quickly slunk to the Earth; a slight rustling of the shrubbery was made from the sound of him sinking into the lush Earth. His solar plexus remained on the terra firma beneath, hindquarters gently pushing back from the ground as he gradually crawled forward in absolute silence. Thankfully to his advantage, he was a fantastic hunter, excelling in tracking and making an outstanding hunter in general.
Meanwhile, the GaleClanner might be unlucky once he finds them. With a deceitful snicker, he inched closer and closer to the scent, eventually kicking off the flooring with his powerful hind appendages. He launched through the air; he planted atop of a damsel, sending them tumbling across the topography. Scampering to his paws, he snorted and created distance between the two, feeling that may have been the worst decision he could've made out of the situation. Having second thoughts, his nonexistent tassel would fall to the ground, but that was impossible with no tail. Instead, expressive with his countenance, his auditories flattened against his cranial, "Y-You see, I'm very sorry about that!" He spatted out briskly, hoping to recover after his horrible decision. "I should have been more rational. I promise I'm not attempting to stir up a bee's nest. That's the last thing I want."
Swallowing thickly, he gazed toward the calico, lowering his head between his shoulders, feeling disappointed in himself. In his head, he kept repeating how much of a mouse-brain he'd been for not thinking about his actions before making them. Harepaw hadn't been the brightest, especially with little training. "T-The name's Harepaw, by the way...terrible introduction, I know." He was waiting for something worse, such as a fight to break out or more cats to come running this way.

Her attention had gradually shifted from her fear, to the softness of the dirt. It lingered for mere moments and shifted, the grass and the pleasnet scent from their stalks. Beyond that the gentle shift of the toyed with her ears, making them flick. Gradually the fear disappeared, not entierly of course, it lingered in her chest but it was far enough away she felt capable of breathing. Till a sudden weight landed on her. A terrified yowl escaped her, panic rushing in her veins. Her claws cutting deep ruts into the ground. The surprising feline encounter ended quickly, there was space between them, Dandelionpaw curling into herself, half expecting another assult. But, instead, she heard a tom's voice and an apology. Peaking her head up from where she had tried to make herself a tiny target, her eyes narrowed. "Why would you do that" She replied, barely managing to make her voice loud. He went on to introduce herself, and given she suffered no real injuries, Dandelionpaw dislodged herself from her defensive posture. She made no move beyond that and scraped together courage to utter her own name. "I"m Dandelionpaw," It was a meek response. "What are you doing out here?" She questioned, eyes damp with nervous angst. ★ faiI would heal what's broken Show this family something new Who I am inside, so what can I do?

Harepaw's umber visionaries enlarged with astonishment upon the yowl which escaped the velutinous she-cat. He didn't imply to startle the damsel nor want to wound her if he had. His auditories perked as the mademoiselle uncoiled herself from her defensive position, brows furrowing out of remorse. The unfamiliar molly's inquired in delicate, serene vocals, causing Harepaw to swallow thickly as he blinked in perplexity at her hushed tone. He felt wretched for his actions, hoping she'd overlook him for his utter insensibility. "I-I was just trying to make the right decision, but I was mistaken." Harepaw's deep oak luminaries averted toward the terra firma. "Again, I'm sorry." If the she-cat wouldn't forgive him, Harepaw comprehended why, as he should've considered more about his movements. From Harepaw's observations, the bachelor assumed the opposing apprentice was relatively trepidatious.
Harepaw dipped his crania upon her introduction, portraying respect for the individual, evidently disgruntled for lunging at Dandelionpaw. Hearing an inquiry, Harepaw immediately opened his mandibles to respond, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Dandelionpaw; you're thoughtful for not pummeling me in return. I believe I deserve it." The tomcat muttered, vocalizations subdued and prominent with regret. With the apprentice's next question, Harepaw flashed a cheeky grin, revealing pallid denticulations. He commented, "I am patrolling with a few others, but I departed." He responded. Harepaw pondered the same for the contrasting feline, "And what about you? What're you doing out here by your lonesome? You seem nervous; maybe you should have someone with you." Harepaw explained, suggesting that she shouldn't be on her own.
