[attr="class","hareappdesc"]true to his lightningclan lineage, harepaw will never strike an imposing figure as his slender frame leads more towards speed than brute strength. lithe muscles ripple beneath a short-haired pelt, and the tom stands about average in comparison to his clan-mates. much like his twin, harepaw's best skills are well within the realm of hunting, though his long claws could manage to pack a punch in battle if needed. if plighted against a physically stronger enemy, harepaw will do best to outpace them by keeping his distance and only moving in for quick, sharp attacks. his coloration is identical to his twin brother's down to the very tips of his hair. the perfect blind of both of his parents, the tom's sinewy form is covered in an off-white shade that has often been described as cream. the milky-white hue is broken up by varying shades of gold and molasses, his pattern made of bold rosettes and creeping tabby stripes. set in a softly angular face are round, blue-green eyes that never seem to lose their spark of mischief. [break][break] though he tends to be the quieter of the twins, harepaw is almost excessively protective of his family and friends and will stand up to anyone who tries to bring them emotional or physical harm without hesitation. his own sense of humor isn't as harsh as swiftpaw's, and he is often the voice of reason when his brother thinks up a scheme too grand. moral to a fault harepaw believes that the world is made up of clear right and wrongs, and disapproves of interclan relations despite his own origins and is an unlikely candidate for breaking the warrior code on a larger scale due to this. harmless pranks don't count, of course. [break][break] while swiftpaw is the ringleader of the terrible two, this fact of life doesn't upset harepaw in the slightest as he is anything but a sidekick himself. confident and laid-back he is every bit the quick witted and crafty prankster of his ( very slightly ) older brother. [break][break] [attr="class","hareapptitle"]HISTORY [attr="class","hareappright2"] [attr=class","hareappright2words"] LEOPARDHEART (TC)WINDSPIRIT (LC) [break][break] TIGERPAW, SWIFTPAW, SNOWPAW [break][break] windspirit had always been the kind of she-cat to go with the flow, a free spirited apprentice apt to explore to her hearts content. it was during one of these expeditions that she happened upon leopardpaw at the border between their clans. though their meeting was brief, their second chance encounter saw leopardpaw risking his own hide for windpaw against a fox. from that point on the young felines began a slow-kindled relationship that can only be described as a star-crossed romance. [break][break] though from opposing clans, windspirit and leopardheart continued their romance well into their later moons, secretly becoming mates despite the warrior code. what were rules compared to true love? with love though comes life, and windspirit discovered that she was pregnant in the midst of a bitter leaf-bare, giving birth to four kits as newleaf comes to an end. for a moment, things were touch and go with the new queen, a sickness known to crop up in her lineage making itself well-known to her during this vulnerable time for her and her kits. ever resilient, the she-cat makes it out on the other side with flying colors and four darling children. [break][break] born third ( by only a few seconds he insists ) is harekit. one half of a troublesome duo, the younger twin is so close in looks to his brother that it is nearly impossible to tell the two apart when side by side. as they grow older, though, their slighlty differing personalities tend to make it easier to tell the two apart. harekit tends to follow after his brother with enthusiasm, always eager to jump from one grand scheme to the next. unlike swiftkit, harekit often finds himself doubling back when they've managed to upset one of their sisters, offering a quick apology alongside a cheeky grin in order to maintain the peace between the littermates. their pranks and mischievous nature tend to give windspirit a run for her money, but the troublesome brothers mean well at the end of the day. [break][break] apprenticed at the typical age, his training is overseen by [name] and harekit immediately makes a name for himself as a good student. watchful and prudent, his mind is eager to soak up all the information his mentor has to give to him and asks as many questions as he can possibly think of in an effort to learn all there is about the world he lives in. now, though, that world is crumbling beneath his feet, and nothing will ever be as sure as it once was.
