The Asocial
The Asocial
[attr="class","charactertext"]
Badgerscar is a herculean tomcat, having long, lean legs. His muscle is thin and thick beneath the fur, quite evident with his athletic build. From afar, he may appear as this tall, lanky tomcat, but up close, it's pretty clear his body is a muscle, not fat or bone. He is always doing something to keep this fit shape, as he doesn't want to become chunky or thin. Maintaining an average build has always been amidst himself. He possesses long, dense fur and is rather velutinous. A broad face with a slightly wide maw makes for an attractive facade. No splotches of white, just purely this darkly grey-blue pigment nearly throughout. Badgerscar carries an intimidating stare, almost as deep as an abyss full of nothing. It's as if he stares right through others unless he loves someone. They can suddenly appear gentle and warm, rather than static and cold. They are a beauteous distinct green, though. His large ears and paws are disproportional to his embodiment, but it makes him stick out, alongside his prominent scars. His suffix comes from his physique arrayed with scars. Badgerscar's significant faults are on his right flank, having a four streak one marked by a feline, though it was one a gash, and it is noticeable that it was formally one as well. His brother, Blackstag, marked the other scar. It is three deep marks along the location of his trachea. The tom's tail is charcoal, except for the white splotch on his belly.
Baderscar is an interesting tomcat, his personality, bittersweet. Badgerscar is an extremely observant tomcat, analyzing and scrutinizing everything amidst him with caution. He is quick to pinpoint a feline's intentions, analyzing the stance, countenance, and sudden movements of another. Having little patience for indecisiveness, Badgerscar is surprisingly quick at making decisions, being a rather decisive sire. Decisions are important in life, though, Badgerscar believes actions can make more happen than a simple decision and can change the result. He stands responsible for any actions and decisions taken, however. When Badgerscar was a bit younger, he was a bit dependent on others but has grown independent in the past few moons, wanting to improve himself without the physical help of others. Maybe advice, but he was barely into taking any constructive criticism. He finds depending on others is a sign of weakness, especially if one is older than him. Badgerscar is an accomplished warrior, being very dutiful, making sure to complete tasks efficiently and quickly, other than hunting. He's not so good when it comes to hunting.
The large fellow is considered honest, finding integrity to be an important attribute. No one likes liars, or so, Badgerscar despises them. A feline full of lies is eventually bound to get caught, right? The tom prefers not to take those risks, swearing to himself that he'd dare not lie, at least, intentionally. Even under the most terrifying circumstances, Badgerscar can remain casual and stay at ease, though deep down, he is most certainly panicking. He tends to struggle to show these emotions, as it may seem obvious already. Badgerscar is seen as a relatively placid feline, considering he somewhat struggles to show his emotion. He does show emotion, it's just not as average as someone else might be. Not to forget, the tom is strong-willed, not giving a second thought about what others may think of a decision or action he's made. He's not typically insensitive, but when it comes to his actions and decisions, he's quite insensitive. Unintentionally, Badgerscar, like his older brothers can be charming, though not silver-tongued like his brother, Blackstag, and not so gallant like Buckfur.
Badgerscar is rather judgmental, labeling others as who he believes they are. He may consider someone a mouse-brain, immature, mature, too energetic, too sensitive, and whatnot. He's quick to judge others, again, might be insensitive toward those who are too much for him. He can only stand to be around few felines. When wronged, Badgerscar finds himself seeking revenge, making him a rather vindictive tom. If wronged, Badgerscar won't hesitate to plan into the depths to make it the worse for others, even if it means death. This could cause consequences down the path, possibly an exile or something of that sort. He'd really have to be careful. Another thing, Badgerscar has rough communication skills, not really having an upper hand in social skills. Unfortunately, Badgerscar is asocial, caring less for conversation with others unless he deems it important. However, he is social with those he cares deeply for and is definitely a less insensitive. With honesty, he is blunt, speaking his mind, whether it's bitter or kind of him to say. He is careless of others' thoughts and opinions, going beyond facts and his own decisions and actions.
On the outside, the tom has an overall tough shell to surpass. The tomcat is typically seen as absurdly horrible with conversation and empathy toward others. With an emotionless and strange aura, with his behemoth size creates an intimating feline. Though, deep down, is the sweetest down-to-earth warrior. Reserved at heart, he still has a slightly humorous shine, plastered with empathy and compassion for those he cares for as well as loves if one can attain his love. Those who truly know him for who he is, would regard him as a gentle giant.

SCARS REVEAL WHERE WE'VE BEEN
BUT NOT WHERE WE ARE GOING.
BUT NOT WHERE WE ARE GOING.
◉ BIRTH
Born to Lionfang and Ravenflight of NightClan, he also had been born alongside two siblings, Hawk-kit and Cricketkit. He was the largest of the three kittens, gaining his father's genetics in size. He also had two older half-brothers, Blackstag and Buckfur. The two were older than the other three, but Badgerkit figured he'd find himself hanging more around Blackstag and Buckfur as he aged. He will grow to be the third largest, close in comparison with his half-brother, Blackstag, who was slightly smaller than Buckfur. Badgerkit had always been asocial and rather insensitive toward others, showing little care for his diminutive sister, Crickitkit who many were worried she possibly wouldn't survive due to her minuscule size. Badgerkit would often hang around Hawk-kit considering Cricketkit was always getting the affection and was the center of attention.
◉ KITHOOD
Badgerkit would notice the envy radiating from Hawk-kit, so he insisted on spending some time with his brother, despite that he'd prefer to spend time listening to Elder's stories. Whilst young, he found himself doing a majority of wrestling and playing with his brother Hawk-kit, and occasionally other kittens as well. He never really made friends, rather acquainting himself with his clanmates. At five moons, Badgerkit would spend the next moon putting future ideas in his mind. He hoped to have his own kits someday and become a great warrior. He hoped he wouldn't disappoint anyone, especially his older brothers who seemed to grow into fine, powerful ones. He would continue to dwell on the future for a majority of his life, considering his struggles he goes through in his apprenticeship and warriorhood.
◉ APPRENTICESHIP
Being one of the largest apprentices at the time, he was excited about his advantages in being large. However, his behemoth size may cause troubles or complications for agility and moving with ease. He definitely won't be able to slip into tight places, no way he's shimmying anywhere. Badgerkit was formally renamed Badgerpaw, heading into the moons of his apprentice days. His mentor had been named Redoak, an average-sized tomcat with a notable reputation. Badgerpaw had been excited about his mentor, knowing the warrior excelled in battle. He hoped his skill would be better or just as good as Redoak's after multiple training sessions. Redoak was a self-disciplined tom, a hard worker as well. Redoak would focus on teaching the young tom discipline and all the techniques he knew for battle. Badgerpaw figured now that he was older, he would do extra training alongside, wanting to ask his older brother, Blackstag for assistance in battle. Badgerpaw knew his brother had quite the reputation for being a loquacious charmer and excellent in battle. He was curious about the style in how Blackstag was taught, wondering how he'd gotten so good in the strategy of battle. After a few training sessions with Redoak, he finally built up the courage to speak to his older brothers. He never really spoke to them before, feeling as though they cared less for kits, especially Blackstag which was obvious.
One evening, Badgerpaw had stumbled upon his older brothers, Buckfur and Blackstag. He inquired for training assistance without hesitation, rather bold with his words. Blackstag had agreed to help, fortunately for him. He admired his older brother in a way, but also found that he'd grow less fond of Blackstag as they aged. However, when explained the rules of how Blackstag trained, he was taken aback when told claws would be used in these sessions. At the same time, he wasn't concerned, as maybe this would improve and better prepare him in the future during skirmishes or battle with any enemy such as a fox or badger. Between training with Redoak and Blackstag, Redoak would often question Badgerpaw on scars he was recently earning. The young apprentice would occasionally be visiting the Medicine Cat in order to treat wounds earned by Blackstag. Of course, Blackstag certainly didn't take it easy on Badgerpaw, leaving wounds behind every time he insisted on training with the behemoth black cat. Zero regrets, however, as Redoak was always astonished by how well Badgerpaw assessed battle situations and sessions. He was overjoyed by the praise Redoak had given him, ever since he began training with Blackstag on the side.
However, things started to take a shift after earning scar after scar, though they weren't too huge of a problem. None of them were majors, but still left scars along his flank and chest. They could barely be seen beneath his thick pelage, so he didn't care much for them. One morning, Badgerpaw inquired his older brother, Blackstag, as this wasn't abnormal. For quite a few moons, Badgerpaw had been training both with Redoak and Blackstag, despite Redoak being his assigned mentor. It was like he had two mentors, or so, that's how he thought of it. During this training session, things turned a bit dark for the apprentice. Blackstag had came at him, claws unsheathed, though this was normal. This time, it seemed Blackstag was done taking it easy on the tom, wanting to see what his younger brother could do after multiple moons of training. This new pace was unexpected, considering this was Blackstag, and it was training. If it was a foe, he would've been more prepared or if he was warned beforehand about this.
Standing there in shock, Blackstag's fatally sharp talons raked the young tomcat's trachea area, leaving a deep gash which blood began to drip. A slight yowl was heard from the apprentice, a frown creeping upon his countenance. He swallowed thickly, claws unsheathed and gripping the dirt beneath his foundations. "A warning would have been nice." He bitterly stated toward his older brother who just seemed to shrug the situation off. Badgerpaw assisted himself, slowly but surely, to the densite, into the Medicine Cat's den. The gash was severe, and the medicine cat basically explained that it'd be a miracle if he survived the wound. Badgerpaw was in absolute pain and it could be seen in his face, but the medicine cat quickly got to work, tending to his wounds. Of course, he was questioned on how he got the wound, blaming it on a badger when out with Blackstag and Buckfur. He didn't want to get in trouble or for Blackstag to get in trouble for the circumstances since he asked for help since the beginning and continued to go with the flow. Badgerpaw survived this deep wound, as it was a miracle and he couldn't stop thanking the medicine cat for the hard work attending the wound. The unfortunate thing was, Badgerpaw was stuck in the Medicine Cat's den for two moons, allowing the wound to heal and scar. This was his first, very prominate scar which could be seen just beneath the fur, unlike the rest that could barely be seen unless it rained or something.
At twelve moons, Badgerpaw returned to his training with Redoak, who didn't believe the wound was of a badger, and instead, a feline. Through countless questions, Badgerpaw finally let the words slip that he'd been secretly training with Blackstag on the side. Redoak wasn't angry at Badgerpaw, but rather frustration toward Blackstag. The tomcat dismissed himself from Badgerpaw's presence, seeking Blackstag for confrontation. Once he found the behemoth black tomcat, Redoak raised his tone, bitter with Blackstag. He understood who the tom was, but cared less as his apprentice and Blackstag's own brother had almost died from the deep wound. "I don't believe you understand, you almost killed your brother!" With the last scowl, he left Blackstag there, not wanting to hear what the opposing sire had to say about the situation. From there on out, Badgerpaw noticed tension between the two warriors, Blackstag and Redoak. He was almost uncomfortable with it, as he wished the two would just get along, but Badgerpaw was aware that Blackstag despised confrontation. Redoak explained that Badgerpaw wouldn't continue his training on the side with Blackstag, disagreeing with the whole "using claws" thing. It was disgusting to the ginger tom. After a harsh lecture, Redoak intensified training, not wanting to give Badgerpaw a break, as some sort of punishment for continuing to be foolish and train with claws. Redoak was extremely disappointed, considering the apprentice almost lost his life.
At sixteen moons, Badgerpaw had earned his next scar. It had been during a border patrol with Redoak and a few other NightClanners. The patrol had split, leaving Redoak, Badgerpaw, and a third feline while the other three went another direction. Badgerpaw had smelt an unknown aroma, though it was clearly another cat. The feline had winded up being a rogue of another clan, reeking of LightningClan. Badgerpaw was the first to attack, lunging toward the feline, claws unsheathed as they raked across the cat's countenance. Blood began to drip from the feline's crown, a hiss escaping the mandibles. Redoak and the other NightClanner had been coming to the scene, since Badgerpaw left them behind to defend the territory. The enemy had been clearly livid, slamming Badgerpaw into the terrain. Whilst beneath the larger feline, he belly-kicked the abdomen, tossing the rogue off. Scrambling to his paws, he felt claws digging into his left flank, yet another deep wound that would scar and be noticable. He attempted to ignore the pain, forcing himself to continue battling. He remembered both Redoak's and Blackstag's lessons, paws extending toward the nearest branch. He leaped between a few branches, reaching a high point. Watching the feline glimpse around frantically, Badgerpaw came from behind, landing upon the masculine’s back, sinking his talons into the embodiment, alongside with his fangs into the nape.
He listened to the yowl of the feline, continuing to dig into his physique. He watched as Redoak and the other NightClanner peered through the shrubs, Redoak grinning as he observed his apprentice in action. Badgerpaw was eventually shaken away, stumbling slightly before regaining his stance. He shook away the blood, though it was beginning to become too much. Redoak soon took notice of the lacerated gash in his flank, becoming wide-eyed and in panic. He called his apprentice to fall back, knowing that he could pass out from the blood loss or even worse. Redoak demanded the NightClanner return his apprentice to the Medicine Cat while he handed the rogue. Again, Badgerpaw spent two moons in the Medicine Cat's den. He had began to become fond of the medicine cat, often visiting for a conversation. The leader had promised Badgerpaw his warrior ceremony after healing, considering his courage in battle and being the first to notice and defend the territory during that specific patrol. Of course, there were other accomplishments that were earning him the ceremony, but that was one of the bigger things on the list. Sure, he was eighteen moons and earning his warrior name, but that was due to his major wounds at just so young.
After spending those two moons, it was time to be named a warrior.

After spending those two moons, it was time to be named a warrior.
◉ WARRIORHOOD
A ceremony was called upon by the NightClan leader, Badgerpaw, stepping up. He didn't smile, but he didn't frown either. Barely any emotion was shown, a slight dip of his cranium toward his leader. He was proud to become a warrior finally, but he felt like it was late. There wasn't much he could do, though. But he did go through some stuff with all those wounds that took forever to recover from. The leader had named him Badgerscar for his immense amount of scars, and he was young. If he lives long, he will have too many imperfections to count by that point. Badgerscar spent the next few moons working independently on improving himself, wanting to prevent too many future scars from occurring. Sure, he enjoyed having them, but who will love a ragged-looking tom? He was concerned about his looks downfalling, but maybe scars were attractive? He didn't know, but perhaps he shouldn't worry about it too much. For the next few moons, Badgerscar worked on encouraging himself, attempting to shove the thoughts of his physique aside. He endeavored to convince himself that passing on his family's genetics and developing more future warriors for the Clan shouldn't be a priority.
Not long after becoming a warrior, he'd crossed paths with a particular she-cat within NightClan. Little did he realize that the damsel was Cricketchirp's best friend, Mousepetal. She was a few moons younger than Cricketchirp and Badgerscar, but that didn't technically matter. The two had connected relatively well from their first interaction, causing inquiries to rise within himself. He hadn't ever been able to connect so effortlessly with anyone, let alone a she-cat! It was a splendid thought to the young warrior, alleviated that he had welcomed a potential friend. The two would converse quite frequently, enjoying every time they would speak. He began drawing his attention toward her, forgetting to make other friends, ultimately ameliorating that he had one in general. It was a new chapter in his life, making friends, something he had never concentrated on doing before. He never enjoyed the solitary life, as he felt pushed away by others, but then again, he isolated himself to train with Blackstag in his earlier days. Their first interaction was compiled with depth, and he shared sentiments he hadn't been capable of conveying before, thankful that Mousepetal would even settle to listen to his words.
Surrounding himself with Mousepetal's presence allowed him to embrace his scars more, feeling more confident in their existence. He was able to communicate freely with Mousepetal, relieved of judgment between the two of them. Typically, Badgerscar was judgemental, but with Mousepetal, the attribute appeared to cease. The two had shared a few unforgettable moments, such as when Mousepetal had launched herself over him, landing right before his gaze where he looked down upon her. The few seconds he gazed into her eyes, there was a flash of light; luminance warmed his heart and visage. Eventually, these conversations ended when the Earthquake struck the Valley, modifying the motherland and even the Clans. He remembered the Clan in panic, moving quickly to escape the Valley and discover their new establishments when the catastrophe concluded. Amid the chaos and rebuilding Camp, he couldn't reunite with Mousepetal until about a moon or two, eventually reconnecting with the mademoiselle. He had also begun rebuilding his relationship with Cricketchirp, discovering that Mousepetal and Cricketchirp had been great friends after moons of being oblivious to the fact. It wasn't long before he acquired a time to confess his growing feelings for Mousepetal, officiating their relationship. His dreams were coming true; he was so close to his own family.

◉ PRESENT DAY
Currently, Badgerscar is attempting to rebuild bonds and make new friends, followed by strengthening his new relationship with Mousepetal. He wasn't sure where their relationship would take them, but he was estastic to be Mousepetal's mate, cherishing all the moments he's shared with her. Who knows, it might not be too much longer until there's little Badgerscar and Mousepetal kin running around the camp.

Mousepetal is Badgerscar's first love, and hopefully the last, as he'd never expected to connect with an individual with such ease. Their bond is continually becoming stronger, as they are amazing friends and now, recently have become official. There's plentiful growth to develop between the both of them, mostly going with the flow with this new chapter in their lives. Kits haven't been discussed yet, but it's always been a dream of Badgerscar's to have his very own family someday, and he's one step closer. Of course, if Mousepetal didn't desire the same, he'd never surpass any boundaries, cherishing the damsel a ton.
