Name: Blackclaw
Age: 35 Moons
Gender: She-cat
Clan:StoneClan
Rank: Warrior
Picture: Here
Description: Blackclaw is a large cat, among her clanmates. Quite bulky and well muscled beneath a pelt of mostly black fur with a patch of white on her chest, she's an imposing figure even before she opens her mouth. Fairly tall with rather long legs, a long bushy black tail and long ears, the most noticeable trait about her is her rather sharp, extended claws, hence her namesake. She also sports rather long whiskers, that help her track and sense those around her fairly easily. The second most noticeable thing about her, besides her whiskers, would have to be her rather large, and wide, amber eyes.
Description Summary: Large, mostly black she-cat with amber eyes
Personality:
+ Loyal - There is no cat, more loyal and dedicated to StoneClan than Blackclaw, or so she likes to believe. She thrives in doing what she can and whatever she can for her clan. If she has to invade another clan, in order to feed her own, so be it. If she has to kill another cat from another clan, to ensure her clan's future, so be it. No, task is too big for her, as long as it ensures her clan's future. If it must be done, than she'll do it, no questions asked.
+ Hardworking - With the loyalty to her clan, comes the hardworking part. Blackclaw will throw herself into doing all types of tasks for anyone and everyone in her clan. To hunting for the elders, to looking after and playing with kits, to helping out with training of apprentices. Blackclaw is your cat.
+ Intelligent - An intelligent cat, Blackclaw is easily able to recognize what's considered good and what is considered bad. However, these lines can easily be blurred depending on whatever situation, Blackclaw finds herself in. All in all, she's a smart cat, who can easily come up with solutions, and such to different types of things that happen in her world.
+ Leaderly - With the way she is, Blackclaw is a commanding presence that can not be ignored. This very presence also gives her an air of leadership qualities to her. When it comes to most situations, Blackclaw can easily take control and put her effort into making sure that things around her are not falling apart around her.
+- Religous - Like many of her clan, Blackclaw is a very religious cat, and believes heavily in StarClan. There is nothing in her world that can make her believe otherwise and with this trait, it falls under both negative and positive. This is because her faith in her ancestors can easily be described as over-obsessive and unhealthy, to the point that she believes that even a simple gust of wind, is considered a "sign from StarClan"
+- Aggressive - With being aggressive, this simply means that Blackclaw is always ready to jump in to confront anyone on an issue that concerns her clan. This can be a simple disagreement to someone in another clan and with Blackclaw involved, it can easily turn aggressive rather quickly.
- Arrogant - Blackclaw is an arrogant cat but this is mostly to those cats outside of her clan. As a member of the great StoneClan, she likes to believe she is far superior than cats from other clans. She does not believe that the other clans are worth her time, and she'll sneer and mock them simply because they are something they can't help. She believes her clan is better, so don't you forget it.
- Aloof - Another trait that is mostly directed towards other clan cats (and a few of her own clan mates), Blackclaw can easily come off as distant and cold to those who don't know her. She does not like interacting to those she believe are not her worth her time, and can easily adapt a "I don't really care about you" type of attitude.
- Power hungry - Her most negative trait and one she keeps under wraps mostly, is the desire for power. Since she was young, she was spoon fed things about fate and destiny and the fact that StarClan may one day bless her with a high up position in the clan. Since then, she has been obsessed with becoming the leader of her clan, or the deputy. Any position of power is something she's gaining for, she's just above doing under handed tricks to get said positions of power. At least for now.
- Blunt - With the way Blackclaw is, she does not hesitate to speak her mind, and being blunt about her opinion is what makes her, her. She does not sugar coat anything and will tell you exactly how she feels, if it hurts your feelings, that's your problem, not hers.
History: Brindlescar and Rainstrike were two of the most dedicated warriors of StoneClan. Highly popular, very loyal to their clanmates and too StarClan, and very much in love with each other. It was no surprise to anyone that the two became mates after a few moons shy of becoming warriors. The night of the kitting, produced three kits, sadly two did not survive which left, their daughter Black-kit, without siblings. Believing it was StarClan's will and believing their daughter survived for a reason, the two parents merely threw all their love and devotion into raising the young kit.
There was stories of the past and of StarClan, but the stories that really stuck with Black-kit was definitely those of her own birth. Of how, she had been blessed with life while her siblings had been called to join their ancestors early. The young kit was intrigued by the very mention of StarClan and the power they held in their paws. How could a force, that could not be seen, be able to predict and take away life so easily? The intrigue only grew, along side the devotion and the promise of her own greatness on the horizon. Her siblings must have been special to be called to StarClan so early, so that only meant that she was too and in life she would make sure to be just as special as they were! To show that she was worthy to be called as so!
Kit-hood came and went and within six moons, Black-kit became Blackpaw and the adventures of a kit faded away. Only to be replaced by the hardships of apprenticeship. Her mentor, Coppertalon, was a strict and rough tom, who believed in heavily in StarClan's influence. He was not the type to let his apprentices slide in anything and for several moons, Blackpaw was put through hell to ensure that she would become a warrior that even StarClan would be proud of. Coppertalon, did not hold back. He used claws with training and lashed out at his apprentice if he felt that she was not living up to his standards. He even, went as far as to heighten Blackpaw's obsession with StarClan and the ideals that she was headed for greatness, as long as she listened to whatever he said. To put it simply, Blackpaw, was easily molded into the cat she is, due to Coppertalon's influence. Moons came and went and Blackpaw continued to train under her mentor.
Apprenticeship faded and with it, came Blackpaw's descent into warrior-hood. She was given the name, Blackclaw. In essence to her true fighting spirit and her natural hunting abilities, on the night of her warrior ceremony, no one called her name the loudest than her former mentor, Coppertalon, and her parents, Brindlescar and Rainstrike.
Life as a newly made warrior was exactly what Blackclaw needed. Stronger, wiser and determined to prove herself, the Molly threw herself into her tasks. In her eyes, StarClan had blessed her so it was now time to dedicated herself to her clan even more so. She did what she was told, helped out when she could and was a pure model clan mate to her clan. It wasn't long after earning her warrior name, that StarClan decided to bless her once again.
This blessing was in the form of a young Tom, named Whitepaw. The apprentice was young, impressionable, longed to please his new mentor and was exactly what Blackclaw needed. She took the apprentice under her paw and molded him into what she wanted him to be. His training was rough and hard and there were days when the apprentice would come home with constant reminders of the harshness of battle training with his mentor. While others seemed not to notice or choose to ignore it, Coppertalon, was not one of them. Instead of voicing concern, the older warrior made it a point to join in with training the young apprentice. Whitepaw, molded easily under the watchful eyes of his mentors and became the very vessel of their ambitions. The apprentice would eventually earn his warrior name, Whiteblaze, for his hard work and efforts and even as a warrior dedicated himself to wanting to please his former mentor.
Moons came and went and Blackclaw continued to devote herself to her clan and family. It was, news on one particular day, of the clan's devoted deputy, Valiantstride's, unfortunate retirement that peeked the Molly's attention. After so many moons of devotion to her clan and family and StarClan's unfortunate silence, this was a definite sign from her ancestors! It had to be destiny, why else would this come up so suddenly? The time was perfect and she wasn't the only one to believe so. Coppertalon and Whiteblaze ralied at Blackclaw's side. No other cat was more qualified. She would just have to prove herself more worthy and the two were more than willing to help out any way that they could...
RP Example: (I"m going to go for the StoneClan deputy position at some point so I'll include a RP section)
Blackclaw stared down from her perch, high in that single tree. Ears were perked, and wide, amber eyes were narrowed on nothing in particular. Her maw parted slightly, taking in the scents around her, while her long busy tail twitched slightly from side to side. The taste of rain, could be scented in the air and the swirling of clouds above, certainly was steering its way towards a possible storm, on the horizon. Blackclaw was not convinced however, but if StarClan willed it. It would be as so. Until then, she was more than willing to wait.
With the humidity as it was, there was no breeze on that particular day. The warm pulsing air brought a small hint of wind in the area, but did nothing to un-tense the she-cat's muscles beneath her thick black pelt. Her eyes drifted away from nothing and back towards the tree branches near her. They fell upon a nest, to the left of her, where the soft chirping of nestlings called out to her softly. The she-cat felt a frown slip to her maw, then. Prey was prey but even then the nestling were too small for even an elder to enjoy. No, she would need to find something else to hunt. For now, she would just have to wait to see what else would come around. No matter, how long it would take. Her clan came first and that's how it would stay.
