Owlmind
LightningClan || 72 Moons || Deputy
She was grateful for the small amount of warmth from the lengthy, thick coat of her brother as they padded next to each other through the cold, soggy territory of Lightningclan and into the shared lands of Starclan's Claws where the Gathering would be taking place beneath the peace treaty of the Full Moon above. Or, at least it was suppose to remain peaceful, that didn't necessarily mean it always stayed that way.
In fact, curiosity rose under the short, rather useless pelt of the deputy where the situation between Treeclan and Nightclan stood. Though, more so from a standpoint for her clan's well-being rather than from a lowly gossip view. It was her job, after-all, to make sure her clan was well informed and prepared for a battle should it spill into foreign waters around the two violently rival clans.
Large ears twitched, almost numb due to the temperature around them as she noted they were the first clan to arrive. She honestly preferred it that way, it gave her time to watch and observe, pick part those as they made their way into the area to mingle with others. An unreadable mask upon her face as she silently analyzed.
Dipping her head towards Redstar as he turned to leap upon the rock where the rest of the rest of the clan's leaders would converge once they arrived, Owlmind turned her attention to two of her daughters. "I expect tension will be high tonight, try not to wander too far from Lightningclan warriors." She mewed in a low, raspy tone as her wide amber pools looked over Goldenpaw and Greenpaw for a moment before dismissing them with a flicker on her long tail.
Muddy, damp paws led the lanky and rather thin looking feline to the area where the deputies sat during the Gathering, lowering her haunches and wrapping that long tail around her paws in an feeble attempt to warm them as those wide, unreadable liquid amber slowly scanned around the open area, noting as Stoneclan was next to enter with Rainclan not far on their heels.
A muddled scent rose within the night air.
The sound of movement near her caused Owlmind to pull her attention from the sea of pelts to find the deputy under Silverstar making his way towards her with a gentle expression across his face. He was another deputy that the gray Oriental knew very little about, similar to that of Valliantstride. Though, all the same the older she-cat dipped her head out of respect to his position in greeting.
"Emberlight. I hope you've had a better time staying warm than I do." Her whiskers twitched with mild amusement though the emotion didn't reach the unreadable light of her amber hues as she held his gaze. Owlmind hated the cold, as if on cue she had to force her thin form not to shiver at the faint breeze that ran through the open area. She couldn't wait for Leafbare to be over.

Wisdom. Courage. Strategy.
