Description:
The first noticeable feature of Hawkpaw is his overall fluffiness. He inherited the same long fur that his older brother Buckfur sports. He also takes after his brother with his coat color. His mottled fur is that of a brown tabby although his fluff makes it hard to make out his stripes sometimes. To match his brown fur, his eyes are a striking amber shade that sit evenly on either side of his nose. The color can sometimes make him come across as intimidating or as though he's looking into your very core. These intense eyes are a reason for his chosen name.
Underneath his fluff is the body of a lithe and lean cat. You wouldn't think this from his looks alone but the tom is packing some lean muscle underneath his fluffy exterior. He may not appear as quite large but what he lacks in general size, he makes up for in height. He stands a little taller than the average tom, sporting some long legs. This allows him to move quickly and bound over obstacles that might prove slightly difficult for some cats. He uses this advantage whenever he can during his hunts and sparring sessions.

Personality:
Hawkpaw is an ambitious tom with plans to do everything he can to be the best he can be. With the hopes of making his clan and family proud, he pushes himself to the very limit of his abilities to meet his goals. This can make him come across as very brash and he might display a bit of an attitude at times. However, he really is a good guy. He just wants others to see him that way.
Although it doesn't always come across that way, Hawkpaw is a very family oriented cat. He is always watching over the cats in his family like a hawk, whether they may notice it or not. His family means everything to him so he intends to watch over them and protect them from any threats or harm. This can make him rather foolish since he is willing to put himself into harm's way for every one of them. With his strong sense of familial bonds, he also can become quite protective over those cats he considers close friends. While he may come across as overbearing at times, he tries to more or less watch from afar. Because until something questionable happens, he doesn't want to come across as a creep to anyone, family or not.

Hawkpaw was born the second of three kits in a litter belonging to Lionfang and Ravenflight. Much like his brother Badgerkit, Hawk-kit was a somewhat larger kitten, boasting some longer legs. His younger sister, however, was very small in comparison, making the clan question if she would survive. Badgerkit didn't show any care about his sister's condition while Hawk-kit would take the time to at least make sure she was still breathing and moving alongside him. Their mother became very protective over their sister and showered the young she-cat with all kinds of love and affection. Hawk-kit thought for sure that all of their mother's love is what helped Cricketkit make it through. And while he was a little jealous that she got all the attention, he didn't openly show it. So it wasn't uncommon for Hawk-kit to keep abit of a distance from them and hang around Badgerkit. That and Hawk-kit didn't want to hurt his sister when they'd wrestle around and play.
Hawk-kit continued to keep an eye on his sister even as they were dubbed apprentices at 6 moons. Hawkpaw, as he was now named, prepared for his training. And while he knew his time would be taken up by his training, he had every intention of keeping his family well looked after. His family, including two older brothers, are what mattered the most to him. So he plans to train and make everyone happy. Then maybe one day he'll receive some of that love that his mother so devotedly gave to Cricketpaw.
