Description: From birth this fluffy she-cat holds a darker color when it comes to her pelt, mostly black with peaks of orange and ginger. As she grows as her coat fills out more ginger will replace the black along her coat to give her a unique and beautiful look. With mostly a black face, only the right side and chin have a small amount of ginger coloration. The very tip of her tail will continue to remain black and she has three black paws while her left leg is a spotted picture between ginger and black. Feminine in shape, she will have a fairly lithe form and legs that aid her size fairly well. Her coat is a nice medium length, giving her a shapely mane around her neck, longer feathers among her belly and a feathered tail. Her long, triangular ears are tufted with black feathered fur and long whiskers protrude from her squarish muzzle. Round eyes sit within her face, a lovely light green in color though slightly dim from the lack of emoting what she is feeling.

Personality: This she-cat is probably the more mysterious of the trio of kits born to Petalrain, she tends to be somewhat distant and anti-social when it comes to those around her. Often quiet, this she-cat doesn't talk about herself or her problems and it is rare that she start a conversation on her own. She is the type who would rather face her issues head on and by herself than ask anyone for help, even if she is struggling. Her darker, troubled nature could be a result of the fact that Petalrain was absent for most of her kithood, causing her to be a bit moody. Despite her brooding, pessimistic attitude she also happens to be rather intelligent, and with a studious nature she'll find training as an apprentice to be somewhat easy. Dry in tone and humor, she is known to be stingily sarcastic. Temper floating somewhere under her dark pelt, this she-cat doesn't often get angry but when she does it can be quite intimidating for one who seems near emotionless most of the time. 

History:

• Kithood: The relationship between Dustclaw and Petalrain was nothing more than a quick, loveless fling that lasted single night and resulted in the creation and birth of three beautiful kits. Two she-kits and a tom were given life by Petalrain but were quickly given to and raised by their aunt, Duskflower. Paintedkit was the name gifted to one of the she-cats,  fluffy fur a swirl of multiple dark colors. The young tortoishell didn't miss the fact that her 'mother' was fairly absent within her life, only around to feed them until they were weaned from her milk, though it didn't cause her to feel unloved as Duskflower loved all three of the littermates fully.
