Kit 1 | Kit 2 | Apprentice 1 | Apprentice 2 | Apprentice 3 | Apprentice 4 | Warrior 1 | Warrior 2 | Warrior 3 | Warrior 4 | Warrior 5
Description:
Spark-kit is a scrawny, ragged looking kit, never too worried about his appearance. His orange and white pelt is oftentimes unkempt from all his bustling around camp. He has a lot of energy and a strong desire to interact with others, thus he is always on the brink of movement. His dark amber eyes are always bright and perceptive, though he isn't the outgoing type. In fact, he is rather quiet, with loud and laughable expressions. Spark-kit is always fun to play with. Most often cats get their way with games, and he is happy with any role. His day to day mien is readable to even the most socially awkward cats, and he is very easy to approach, always attentive to his surroundings. Though, when Spark-kit is truly troubled, he becomes intensely brooding, dark conscience casting shadows over his rather handsome face. With age, this brooding will turn into impassiveness. Although he definitely needs to grow into his ears, Spark-kit is likely to turn into a fine tom. With his sturdy build and proportionate features, he is likely to fill out into a stand-up warrior.
As his apprenticeship ceremony arrives, Spark-kit will find himself cleaning up his appearance more to keep an organized, and well-kept look about him. The bedraggled kit he once was will soon turn into a well-groomed tom, and as he ages, his eyes will lighten from dark amber to a deep, fierce gold. The oranges in his pelt change color with the mood of the sun, being a faint ginger in cold light, and a vibrant, fiery russet at strong sunsets. He is by no means the tallest cat in the clan, nor the shortest. Spark-kit will be average at best, in both height and sport. He is a fine hunter and an impulsive fighter, but more importantly, an inspiring, persuasive leader.
Warriorhood will offer Burningspark a more full, mature appearance. He will have learned to harness his emotions better, translating his rebellious spirit into productivity. His involvement in the clan won't dwindle, thus he maintains a well-groomed appearance in order to retain an air of authority. He will turn into a more calm, commanding, and consulting type with age, his posture changing from that of an arrogant apprentice to a poised professional.
Description Summary: An average sized, short furred, ginger and white tom with golden eyes.
Personality:
+ Consolable, Confident, Wise, Quiet
- Emotionally Guarded, Stubborn, Arrogant
Spark-kit is highly intelligent and extraordinarily cognizant of his surroundings. He tackles problems with a surprisingly cool head, always jumping to be the first to take action and diffuse a situation, from emergencies to trivial social conflict. He does hone some inherently inscrutable expressions as a default countenance in times of divergence, though when consoling clanmates, he always offers his most compassionate gestures. Spark-kit always looks to conciliate in arguments, constantly seeking an equilibrium and peace between everyone, and he definitely has his work cut out for him. His determination and motivation revolve around solving conflicts, and of course, being the best warrior he can be, though he has never appreciated needless strife, and will likely always despise social or political imbalances. His efforts will always be focused on his clan, but interclan disputes and battles vex him more than they should. Fighting has, and always will be, his last resort.
Spark-kit will grow into a fine warrior, a loyal friend, a shoulder to cry on, and an ear for those who need to be heard. He will never be afraid to speak his mind, even if discreetly. For as consolable and charismatic as he is, his intelligent perspectives and advice are hardly overlooked, though when it comes to sharing his own emotions, its an experience similar to crawling through an endless patch of brambles. He will make sure each word spoken counts, and never talks gratuitously, making him much more the quiet and observant type like his father. Spark-kit is an old soul, wise beyond his years, though even to those not adverse to guidance, he can seem quite arrogant in posture and stride. He is brimming with self-confidence, though his morals and intuition command his life, from the decisions he make, to the actions he take. Although he is open to perspectives, he isn't easily influenced or persuaded. Whoever he inherited his stubbornness from, he received quite a heavy dose, and paired with his self-assured behavior, its no wonder others can catch a glimpse of a conceited youth.
Its very difficult to make Spark-kit angry, though when he snaps, there is hardly a cat more aggressive. He becomes frantic, almost mad with rage, most likely due to some act of injustice. Spark-kit his hardly a bubbly and extroverted personality like his name would suggest. Surely his name just referred to the color of his pelt, faint in cold light, and fiery orange at sunset.
History:
Palescreech's and Nightstep's combined character, from the dam's manipulative and narcissistic nature, to Nightstep's impassive, observant, and charming tendencies, may not bring the most docile of personalities in their offspring, though of course the tight-knit couple could care less. Their relationship brought Ivykit, Shadekit, and Spark-kit into the world, a trio of cats likely to grow into powerful assets to LightningClan, just as their parents have been. Spark-kit has no history, but it could be foreseen that the choices he will make will be almost cruelly altruistic, and selfless almost to self detriment. A good cat he will become, though much hardship and self-discovery will shape his life accordingly.
Other: Brother of Shadekit and Ivykit, son of Nightstep and Palescreech. Song is Wake Up by NF.

A DREAM YOU CAN'T ESCAPE
Burningspark
LIGHTNINGCLAN - WARRIOR - 21 MOONS
It was likely he wasn't ever even going to receive a warrior name the way things were playing out.
Sparkpaw sat outside Firestar's den, his tail flicking in irritation as he waited. They probably aren't saying one good word about me in there. He assumed angrily, golden eyes shunning the accusing glances his clanmates gave him in passing. It was still snowing lightly, and his wounds burned from the run-in with the two StoneClanners despite the efforts of LightningClan's medicine cats. No doubt they were annoyed with him too. Sparkpaw tried to ignore flashbacks of his recent expedition, though images of blood-stained snow and the light-colored StoneClanner's crippled body haunted his mind.
Should he have just let them steal the rabbit?
The last thing Sparkpaw wanted to do was get chewed out for protecting and promoting LightningClan's wellbeing again. He set up a strong patrol to take back Sun Stones, and what they had lacked in experience, they made up with determination and the element of surprise. It would have worked too if...
Nevermind. Sparkpaw thought bitterly, scowling as he remembered his previous altercation with LightningClan's leader. At least this would be more...private. He couldn't stand the thought of a public denouncing again, though the conception of being summoned into her den alone made Sparkpaw's fur ruffle uncomfortably. She could kill me and no one would see a thing. He mused sardonically, trying to quench the fires of nervousness with humor.
The ginger and white tom sunk down to his belly, laying in the snow. His mentor was taking quite some time in there. The more Sparkpaw sat in waiting, the more he felt apprehension quicken his heartbeats and tighten his chest. The tom rested his chin on his paws, staring blankly ahead.
Realization of his situation sent Sparkpaw reeling into an abyss of emptiness.
He should have been a warrior six moons ago. Sparkpaw really was happy for Nutfur, but jealousy sent his soul up in flames at the slightest reference of his peers' successes. He took the fall for it, the journey to reclaim Sun Stones. It was his idea, but what was the point? Why did he always make himself the one to blame? The only thing he ever got out of it was punishment and consequence, and while he was held back, he had the joy of seeing all of his friends and family push ahead of him, achieving the dreams he wanted for himself.
All he ever desired was to be the most admired warrior, but LightningClan's decrying strengthened his defiance, pushing him deeper into an increasingly inescapable refractory.
The ginger spotted tom noticed Sunnyheart exit from Firestar's den, though the fiery stare the warrior gave him sent Sparkpaw's fur on end. The apprentice evaded his mentor's lour, or at least attempted too as he pushed past, slipping into Firestar's den quietly.
The air felt heavy. A grim glower shadowed Sparkpaw's face as he sat down. He wrapped his tail tightly around his paws, vacant eyes tracing each and every detail of the ground before him.
The young tom didn't have the courage to look. Not yet.
After a few dreadfully silent moments, Sparkpaw's eyes rose slowly from the plain refuge of soil to the scorching, tenacious depths of Firestar's gaze.
It's probably too late to request public shaming. The apprentice thought caustically, faltering before the face of justice.
