Name: Lionkit - Lionpaw - Lionstride
Age: 7 Moons
Gender: Tom
Clan: Rainclan
Rank: Apprentice
Picture:
Description: Lionpaw is a handsome white and ginger tabby tom; his throat, muzzle and chin are a brilliant snow-white that continues up his nose in a vivid blaze. The white stripe outlines his soft green eyes beautifully. His white belly continues down one of his front legs but the rest of his limbs only have white paws. His fur is long but smooth, the neck fur bushing out to give him a solid, regal appearance.
Lionpaw's body build is robust and sturdy, but not too large to hinder his agile movements. In fact, Lionpaw's long limbs are perfect for elegant swimming and he makes sure that every move he makes is graceful and impressive. His long tail acts as a clear indicator for his mood and he loves to swish it about to catch cats' attentions.
Description Summary: A handsome white and ginger tabby tom with soft green eyes.
Personality: Simply put, Lionpaw is a cocky know-it-all. He holds pride and vanity close to his chest, like his father taught him too, and acts like he knows the solution to every problem. It is obvious by the young tom's swagger that he is confidently at ease with his abilities, and often mentions how other apprentices' should aim to be like him. The slightest praise causes Lionpaw's head to swell like a balloon and he will boast about the compliment for days on end afterward.
Even though his arrogant personality can be the bane of many cats, Lionpaw does have a few good traits as well. He is a diligent hard-worker and will put all his effort into his tasks, no matter how annoying or 'beneath him' they may be. He is ambitious but holds his few friends close to his heart, even to the point of smothering them. He is quick to uphold his honor and defend those that he believes to need him - which is every Rainclan cat in the valley.
History:
Lionpaw's parents weren't in love when they had him, the only kit in the litter. His mother regretted falling pregnant to his father and made it apparent by her behavior towards Lionpaw - as if, if she ignores him, her mistake can be undone. Thankfully, Lionpaw's father did not feel the same way and boasted day and night about his gorgeous son and how he was going to become a warrior no other cat had ever seen. However, his father wasn't the best role model socially. Although he was a great warrior, he wasn't the best clanmate.
The first thing he taught Lionpaw was that the opinion of others' matter greatly and he should always try to be the best he can be, never letting others' know his true feelings on a matter. The second thing he taught Lionpaw was that he must find a mate as soon as he gained his warrior name in order to carry on his strong genetics through Rainclan. When Lionpaw expressed concern about she-cats not liking him, his father laughed loudly and said that the only things she-cats want from a tom are pretty words and pretty kits. A bad lesson, but Lionpaw had no cat to tell him different.
Lionpaw's mother moved back to the warrior den as soon as Lionpaw was weaned but he didn't care, his father was always there for him. Daily, Lionpaw practiced everything he knew about being a warrior - the battle moves, the hunting crouches, the posture, everything but how to talk to others with consideration.
When Lionpaw became an apprentice, he felt like his chest would burst from excitement and is looking forward to the day he gets his warrior name.
