Name: Quietstream
Age: 24 Moons
Gender: She-cat
Clan: RainClan
Rank: Warrior
Picture:
Description:
Quietstream is a small she-cat both in manner and body, her small features delicately proportioned to perfect ratios with each other. Her small size is emphasised by her short coat, short whiskers, and short stature. An understated, cream pelt covers those toned muscles, creating a smooth connection between every point in her body. Darker red and lighter off-whites race through the fur, carving their own multilayered paths leading to her muzzle. A bright, velvet pink nose and the soft, unsaturated pale yellow-green eyes brighten her face, creating a pleasant visual disposition.
Quietstream is always in control of her own body, she knows how to run, swim, jump, walk and play with almost perfect execution. Each pawstep is carefully placed, each ear twitch perfectly timed. She can’t control what others say, but she can control her response, and each time it is silence and a graceful leap, jump, or trot away. Quietstream;s movements flow gracefully from one to the next, mimicking the waters of her home.
Description Summary:
Short-haired creamy she-cat with yellow-green eyes.
Personality:
Smart, Quiet, Shy
When Quietstream first entered the world, she had a personality of discovery. Whiskers quivering, the pale kit tumbled around the nursery, searching each corner and desiring to know each thing. She played with her littermates, tried new types of prey, and dared to go visit the elders in their den. She wanted to know anything and everything about the world and bumble about brightly. However, once the truth of the world creept into her life, once those whispers about Razorstar grace her ears, Quietstream took her name to heart ans stay just like that: quiet. Sure, the curiosity is still there, the need for more information still burning inside her, but she goes about in a quieter way. Sitting outside the nursery and watching the camp, gleaning information in that way. or listening to the gossip of the queens and the snippets their mates bring them. Either way, Quietstream learned, albeit in a quieter, more subtle way than most others.
Her quietness manifested itself most during apprenticehood, her desire to stay out of sight caused her to lose her voice. In fact, she believes she doesn't deserve her voice. Her mentor found this a struggle at first t, trying to break through the fog that Quietstream wrapped around herself: that she is not worthy, that she is worthless, and that she won’t be able to contribute anything to the Clan. However, as her mentor worked out a way to communicate with he, Quietstream learned that she does indeed have skills and talents to benefit the clan.
Her quietness also lends itself naturally to shyness. She opens up to her mentor, her friends, her family, but even her Clanmates are unexplored territory with her simply because she doesn't know how to talk to them. The majority of her time as a youngster was spent by someone familiar, whether it be mother, sister, or mentor: someone who knows her and protects her. She spent some time with the elders in their quiet den, taking peace in their acceptance of her quietness and listening in on theirstories with a keen ear, still as curious as ever but much more quiet about it.
Quietstream is compassionate, feeling a sense of knowing when it comes to Redsplash and Rippletail's litters, their kits are half clan like she and and her siblings are. However Redsplash's kits scared her, and Rippletail's kits were too bubbly for her taste. She instead draws into herself, while Minnowsplash is a good sister, it is finally time for her to make a friend outside of family.
History:
The third kit in Razorstar and Roselight’s litter, Quietstream was named for the muted expressions of her coat and the muted expressions of her throat. In the shadows of Piketooth and Minnowsplash, Quietstream remained in the background and stay quiet, believing herself to be better seen and not heard for her kithood and apprenticeship. The protection offered by Piketooth is certainly something she welcomes, but her true safety is found when she is with her sister Minnowsplash, the slightly less graceful of the two sisters but undoubtedly Quietstream's best friend and confidant, the sister's seem to understand what they other is trying to say without words, for words hold little value to a cat who thinks she is nothing.
As she has gotten older Quietstream dilligently follows her duties as a warrior despite her self loathing and inablity to accept that she means anything to anyone or that her talents and unstated beauty may attract a few toms. Starclan has a plan for this quiet little she-cat and she is curious to see what exactly that means.
Other:
Mute by choice, believing that what she has to say is worth nothing.
