Name: Aspenkit Aspenpaw [Undetermined Warrior Name]
Age: 0 Moons / Newborn
Gender: Tom.
Clan: TreeClan
Rank: Kit.
Picture: Kitten
Adult
Album
Description: From birth Aspenkit will be small black and white tom but this isn't a reflecting of his adult size. Growing up Aspenkit will fill out and end up being quite tall. Not a towering, massive cat but a tom-cat who's legs didn't get the memo to stop growing. Aspen will use his height for his advantage, similarly his fellow clanmates will peg him for a excellent hunter when in fact Aspenkit's is better suited for battle. The contrasting colors of his pelt making hiding in the undergrowth and sneaking up on prey a challenge. The quality of his fur isn't thick or thin but a middle blend, feathery on a good day and fuzzy on bad.
Aspenkit will learn how to strike an enemy without pause and be quite ruthless in his approach, granted the fighting is for a good cause. He will use his slender and long build to be faster than his rivals. Even with his pelt such a contrast, Aspenkit most striking feature is his eyes. Dark amber in his youth that will slowly lighten as he grows up. Many cats have told him that his eyes are just like his mother's. Those eyes give Aspenkit a almost unflinching gaze.
Description Summary: Black and white feathery furred tom-cat with dark amber eyes.
Personality: Aspenkit from an early age will know who he is from the start. Born with a moral compass that makes him almost a saint, Aspenkit has a few sins. His honesty is both a strength and weakness. He doesn't like to lie and even gets a sick feeling if he does. Aspenkit will tell the truth to avoid that sensation, making him a terrible secret keeper if he things a friend is in danger. This honesty however, makes him a strong ally. He isn't afraid to tell how he feels and always in upfront with his feelings, even if it makes other uncomfortable. Aspenkit isn't one to sugar-coat things either, his bluntness makes him a good cat to go to for advice.
He will make friends easily if they are okay with his bluntness. He won't bother to befriend cats in other Clans, but will be polite if he feels it is deserved. Aspenkit will have a terrible habit of taking other cat's words as truth. He has an almost naive view about cats also being as honest as him, he has a hard time understanding why some cats will lie. As he grows up Aspenkit will learn that not everyone is truthful and will pay better attention to those who talk to him in order to determine who to trust. Aspenkit will only trust those who tell the truth to the best of their ability.
Aspenkit's relationship with his foster mother Moonfeather will be of the utmost amount of love. He will care and love his adoptive siblings and do his very best to keep them safe. His early relationships will be foundations for future ones, the love he gets as a small kit will encourage him to remain talkative despite the his bluntness being almost annoying to those outside his family circle.
Aspenkit stands to become a honest, blunt but caring tom-cat with inner strength to do what is right even if its hard.
History:
Aspenkit's birth is quite tramatic but thankfully he remembers none of it. Prior to his birth Aspenkit's, Dreamchaser (his mother) was involved with a tom-cat by the name of Stormfeather. Their relationship was built out of mutual attraction but very little in common. Dreamchaser was quite flirtatious around Stormfeather and the tom-cat indulged the she-cat in all her whims. The two became infatuated with each other and it wasn't long until Dreamchaser was pregnant. Stormfeather wasn't very excited to be a father and was upfront with Dreamchaser. She was hurt but realized quickly that she didn't love him. Resolved to be a half decent mother, she excused him of his fatherly duties.
As her belly-grew Dreamchaser was enjoying the life of a queen. Her round belly was small compared to other queen and it was determined she was carrying only one kit. Still she was excited for it. However, as the day grew closer and closer she started to become ill. It started as a minor cough and progressed into entire body shaking and a fever. Bluejay was forced to move the expecting-queen into the medicine cat den to avoid getting anyone else sick. It turned out that Dreamchaser had gotten greencough likely from the shift in the weather. She was quickly fighting for her life, but that didn't stop Aspenkit from coming into the world during the leaf-fall storm.
Dreamchaser went into labor but quickly Aspenkit was to taken from her in order to be nursed by Moonfeather and avoid him getting sick too. Dreamchaser didn't last long, passing away due to complication of being sick and giving birth. Stormfeather came around to pay his respects but made it clear to Moonfeather that he didn't want to be a father figure for Aspenkit.
The black and white tom-kit shows no complications of his mother's illness. He is healthy and shows no sign of sickness, however he will need to be watched over carefully in his early days.
RP Example: N/A
Other: 16th!
Were You Referred? Nope.
Nov 3rd 2017 Edit: Aspenpaw looks like his deceased father Stormfeather and it is commented on, prompting him to ask his 'mother' Moonfeather what Stormfeather was like. Thus possiblily revealing that Aspenpaw was actually adopted.
