Life is like water
If you block one sideit takes other turns to continue its journey
So don't stop your journey due to one failure

If there was one thing Koisplash hadn't esteemed, it was being interrupted, and the stillness of Kotik informed the damsel he possessed a pair of listening ears. Despite his obliviousness to the perimeters shrouding the Clans, she appreciated how well he listened, harboring an unperturbed voice as she spoke of StarClan. It was transparent that the deputy was passionate about her ancestors and genuinely believed in what lay aloft within each ever-burning luminary. She didn't adhere tightly to the religious beliefs, only speaking of them when questioned, just as she had responded to Kotik's inquiry. She couldn't help but authorize the ponder of greeting a StarClan member, wondering what the circumstances would occur like. She never questioned anyone of higher authority, as those meetings are typically deemed confidential unless it's of significance, a message for all. She practically couldn't wait to welcome a StarClan member someday as the leader of MistClan, as long as she lived that long. Cloverstar was still relatively youthful, at least, from Koisplash's perspective, despite how many moons have passed under Cloverstar's reign. The mademoiselle harbored a magnificence that Koisplash somewhat admired, neglecting her leader's unorthodox tendencies. The leader's word was law, after all, and no matter what, the damsel persisted with elevated respect for her contemporary authority.
A delicate array of laughter fled Koisplash's mandibles, her spirited, verdant visage greeting Kotik's, "Yes, it certainly is, and there's much more to it." She remarked, detecting the introspections behind his gaze. He had interpreted her words, probably wondering what the afterlife was like. She'd never gone far enough to even communicate thus far with a loner, starting to question her position. She reminded herself she should commence her advancement back to camp. His question regarding the complexity of the Clans provoked a pause in Koisplash, taking a deep breath before she pressed on. "I imagine it would look or sound complicated from an outside stance." The deputy exhaled, redirecting her gaze overhead through the willow trees encompassing them. "Growing up with these restrictions and rules are accustomed to us Clanners, so it's not too difficult for me, but for you, I could see why you couldn't grasp the concept. Personally, I also don't understand, but I will always follow beneath my Ancestors as a clan-born cat." Koisplash explained with a shrug of her shoulders. "I believe the Warrior Code is there for our protection, order, and organization. It's also there to grant nobility to the warriors' profession, a code of conduct that defines what we warriors can and can't do if we wish to continue to be regarded as warriors rather than murderers or weaklings. In a way, everyone is a warrior, other than apprentices and kits. The leader and deputy are there for management, individuals to look up to and heed beneath." She clarified, glaucous gaze intensifying at the thought of the principles she clung to.
Kotik's comment caused the deputy to flush, heat rising to her auditories as she met his piercing yellow hues. Koisplash possessed exceptionally expressive eyes, banishing the last night's somnolence from the minds of others due to her vehemence. They were the pigment of murky blue-green waters; the color of a perfect raindrop on a blue plumeria; the color of a river hurrying to join the sumptuous ocean. She remained silent, allowing herself to process his words thoroughly before generating an answer. "Speak more, you say?" A sheepish chuckle escaped her maw, vocals reticent, "You see, Kotik; I'd love to accompany you longer and talk with you, but I believe it is time I return to MistClan." There was evident disappointment within her vocalizations, desiring to stay and communicate further. However, she knew this wasn't something she should be pursuing. Sure, friends outside the Clans were okay, but Kotik's commentary continued to provoke her to contest the situation. "Please, feel free to return, but I pray you to remain safe. Don't get caught, Kotik. I hope to see you around again. It was a pleasure meeting you." A dainty smile crossed her countenance, dubiously shifting her physique in the opposing direction toward MistClan's camp. "I wish you the best." Koisplash commented before departing, as the goodbye was dreadful. But why? She swallowed thickly, taking long strides to diminish her presence in the situation. She didn't want to leave him behind but believed she'd see him again. She had to; something about him consoled the deputy and provided ease.
