IgorAPPEARANCE
Quite similar in appearance to her sister, Puddlespring, Drizzlenose has a sleek and short-furred gray pelt. Her fur is a medium-gray in shade, and features not a single spot of white or other patterns anywhere—she is solid gray in every sense of the word, even right down to her little gray nose, only a shade or two darker than her body. She is small in form and with her short fur it’s likely her muscles will become noticeable as she grows older and stronger. She has a narrow, triangular face from which peers a pair of spectacularly green-blue eyes, her only feature that isn’t some shade of gray besides her pink pads.
PERSONALITY
POSITIVES
+ Loyal, Polite, Hard-working, Faithful, Unwavering.
NEGATIVES
- Stubborn, Obsessive, Insistent, Close-minded, Protective.
Drizzlenose is truly a reflection of what her parents’ wanted from themselves, passed onto her like a gift. She and Puddlespring were raised with tradition in mind, and those values shine through in many of their personality traits. Drizzlenose is a cat who is extremely loyal to her Clan and her leader, nearly to a fault, as she wouldn’t hesitate to choose her Clan over herself or cats from other Clans. This means that if it came down to it, she would abandon a hurt cat from another Clan if she was even remotely afraid her loyalty would be questioned if she didn’t. She wants to leave no doubt in any cat’s mind that she’s as loyal as they come, making her often unwavering and sure of herself in the face of conflict.
This also comes with loyalty to the warrior code and all it represents. She is a huge stickler for the rules, and follows the code exactly, to the point where she cites the rules she’s following, and accuses others of codebreaking when she sees it. She wouldn’t hesitate to tell her Clan leader or deputy about any breach in the warrior code her Clanmates made, because she believes when they’re aware of the mistakes they make, they’ll become even more loyal. She does not see how this would make her Clanmates resent her, and would be shocked if some cat told her they disliked her for it, as she genuinely does this out of a desire to help them be the best cat they can be. Because of this, Drizzlenose is insistent and pushy in a way that can make her very unlikable.
Nonetheless, she is a very polite and well-meaning young cat, and is careful to never hurt someone’s feelings intentionally. Everything she does really does come from a good place, and most cats can tell, which can make it difficult for her to be truly hated. She treats those ranked above her with the utmost respect, and even defers to apprentices that are older than her. She has a certain reverence for the elders that make them particularly fond of her.
Because she believes so strongly in the warrior code, it’s only natural she’d be hard-working to become the best warrior she can be, too. Sometimes, she’s downright eager to do menial apprentice chores, as if prying ticks off elders is just as fun as snatching a fish out of the fast-moving river.
Drizzlenose is also powerfully faithful, believing in StarClan and their inherent wisdom with every fiber of her being. To forsake StarClan would be to forsake the life of a warrior itself, and she clearly believes her ancestors are just as important as the warrior code. She has the utmost confidence in their plan for the living cats they watch over, and thus can sometimes be unnervingly calm in the face of disaster. When questioned, she simply says this is in StarClan’s plan, and they shouldn’t worry. She finds StarClan everywhere in the world around her, which can make her quite obsessive to say the least. You definitely wouldn’t be able to get away with having a full conversation with Drizzlenose that didn’t mention StarClan somehow.
If there’s one thing Drizzlenose can’t stand, it’s being told she’s wrong. She is a very stubborn and close-minded individual, and will reject logic and reason if it threatens her belief system in any way at all. Once she’s formed an opinion or stance, it would be near impossible to sway her from it, and she tries very valiantly to sway others to her point of view if she must.
Finally, Drizzlenose can sometimes take her desire to be protective much too far, making it a negative trait. She is protective not just of her beliefs, but of her family—Puddlepaw—and this would extend to being protective of maintaining the right state of mind for her. She wants Puddlepaw to be a good warrior, which means following the warrior code and believing in StarClan. She’s protective of how she perceives the best version of her sister, and making sure that version stays. Her protectiveness also extends to her Clan—she wants more than anything for RainClan to maintain its strength and individuality, and would do anything to keep its warriors strong and loyal. That’s why she will always hold others accountable for codebreaking. She only believes in black and white thinking—something can only be right or wrong, nothing in-between. To say otherwise could make her entire world crumble.

-- kithood.
Born as Drizzlekit, the young she-cat was born to a pair of very proud RainClan warriors alongside her sister, Puddlekit. The two she-kits were very much doted on by their parents, and Drizzlekit remembers her time as a whole family very fondly, as it’s a time when she felt unconditionally loved and safe. Her parents instilled in her an interest for the warrior code, traditional values, and StarClan that later fostered an obsession for these things. The interest became an obsession only after the kits’ parents tragically died from illness when they were only five moons old, leaving them orphaned.
The experience caused Drizzlekit to cling desperately to everything her parents taught her while they were alive, especially StarClan and the warrior code, and her faith gave their death meaning, something that brought her a huge amount of comfort. Knowing her parents were watching her from StarClan made her happy, and it made her want to be the kind of cat they’d be proud of. She found that when she placed faith in her warrior ancestors, good things happened. Sometimes it was a coincidence, but sometimes it was just a result of knowing the difference between right and wrong.
-- apprenticeship.
After being made an apprentice, Drizzlepaw has been exceptionally hard-working, and even volunteers to do menial apprentice tasks just so she can beat serve her Clan’s needs. Though she’s only just starting out, she needs a lot of work on her warrior skills—she’s a thoughtful and focused young cat, but she doesn’t have very good control over herself physically and will make many mistakes before catching her first fish or performing her first battle move properly.
