Name: Son > Bravekit > Bravepaw > tba
Age: 3 moons
Gender: tom
Clan: RainClan
Rank: Kit
Picture: Kit
Adult: The left another
Description: His small frame and rather thin appearance, not enough so to look frail, has always made Bravekit stand out. Though he is now protected by the fluff of a kitten, he will lack the thick, protective fur that most RainClan cats seem to have. The short, white fur that he will develop will not protect him very well from the cold leaf-bares, though it dries quickly after swimming. Long, dainty legs will replace the short, stubby kit-like ones he currently has. Bright, clear blue eyes are usually filled with glee and remain very easy to read, even later in life. However, Bravekit is not a pure white cat; he has light gray ears and an equally light gray splash of color on his nose.
Even though his appearance is less than intimidating, the stride that he will develop over time makes up for it. They will be long and full of the confidence of a competent warrior.
Description Summary: A small, short-furred, almost pure white tom with light gray points and blue eyes.
Personality:
Ultimately, Bravekit is a very polite and sweet little tom. Forever hopeful and optmistic, he has a heart of gold and strives to keep his spirits, and those of his clan mates, up. As he is not exactly used to large groups of cats and the sounds and smells that come with living in a clan, he tends to stick close to Swanfeather, and when he is not acting as her shadow, he prefers the company of one or two cats; Bravekit is much more comfortable in smaller groups, and the size of both older cats and some of the groups intimidates him. However, he is slowly adjusting to life in a clan, which brings out his insightful and intelligent side. Naturally inquisitive, the little tom enjoys asking questions and learning. He has even developed a small appreciation for swimming, though his abilities could use some work; swimming does not come naturally to him, and it has taken him a while to become accustomed to it. During the day, he is a bright kit with a good heart and pleasant disposition. During the night, he is haunted with memories of his past experiences, often waking up with his heart pounding and a very real fear of being alone.
Though unforseen future events can, and probably will, change his outlook on life, some fundamental qualities will remain the same. In general, Bravekit will become fiercely loyal, both to his clans and to his friends, and he will be a fairly easy-going tom. At a young age, he will have become very conscious of what could have been, resulting in his everlasting gratitude to Swanfeather and RainClan for taking him in. The medicine cat will hold a particular spot of importance in his heart. Chances are that he will still remain fairly quiet and unassuming, though adaption to clan life will have drawn him out of his shell much more. He will develop a good sense of a humor with a healthy appreciation for sarcasm and wit.
History:
Son
Born an only kit, he knew only Mama. She called him Son. He, his father, was never there, and Mama did not like talking about him. Rarely did she mention him. Regardless, she was a good mother, skilled and fairly patient. Life was good, with just the two of them, and he began to develop an appreciation for the lifestyle of a loner. However, Mama soon began to show signs of sickness, but she pushed through even though her body was slowly deteriorating. Necessity and pride drove her, and Son could only watch as she began to fall apart. Eventually, she became too sick to do much of anything, and that was when she began to lead him closer to the RainClan border. She told him to run as fast as he could and find Frostfang. Mama did not tell him who Frostfang was, only that he would save her. And so, Son did as he was told, rushing off to the border with hope in his heart.
Bravekit
Luck was on his side, for three things happened. First, he reached the border. Second, he reached the border in one piece. And third, he was found soon after by a member of RainClan, Swanfeather. Obediently, he asked for Frostfang, and when the medicine cat reassured him that she was the tom's friend, he lead her back to his mother. After another long, hard walk, they finally reached Son's dying mother. Almost instantly, the two she-cats recognized each other. Mama had been Frostfang's sister, Son was later told, and Swanfeather had been Frostfang's friend. Neither the medicine cat nor the warrior had seen Mama since she left with the loner, him. In any case, both she-cats knew that Mama was dying, and the young mother requested that Swanfeather take back her son to RainClan and raise him there.
The medicine cat gave her word, and Mama took her last breath in peace. Son returned to the border with the older she-cat, and upon joining RainClan, was remained Bravekit. Since then, Swanfeather has become a replacement maternal figure in his life.
