Name: Redkit - Redpaw - Redbird
Age: 24 Moons
Gender: She-cat
Clan: Treeclan
Rank: Warrior
Picture: Redbird 1 Redbird 2 Redbird 3 Redbird 4
Description: With her breed being Somali, this pretty she-cat has short to medium fur length in a beautiful gingery-red tone for the most part, save for the longer wisps of fur along her belly and chest. She has parts of fur that are darker in color, so dark in brown that it is almost black. These areas include spots along all four legs, her shoulders and even a few stripes between her ears atop her head. This pretty she-cat also has a long stripe of black that leads from her head down to the tip of her tail, which is a mix of faint white and black fur. She is not a very big wild cat, but she isn't considered small either. Her legs a bit longer than most, which of course aid her in running, leaping and climbing. Light on her feet, which are proportionate to her lithe and lightweight body, she almost has a streamline complexion. Her fur rounds out her pretty face with wide ears, she has a white muzzle with a brown-pink nose and white whiskers. Her eyes are an interesting combination of gold and green, though most of the time she looks like she has wide, intense golden pools.
Description Summary: A pretty ginger Somali she-cat with wide gold eyes
Personality: This pretty she-cat practically lives by the Warrior Code. While her mentor insured that it was ingrained within her skull, she also had a terrifying experience with her brother when they were kits which caused her to pay special attention to the code from a young age. Golden hearted and steel nerved, this she-cat is wise beyond her young years. She has goals to train future apprentices of the clan, and she will forever chase the dream of possibly becoming Redstar, leader of Treeclan one day. Redbird is a model warrior and a model Treeclan member, she is loyal, compassionate and strong. Respect for those with more authority or experience is a given with her. However, despite how put together she seems, the young warrior is still a little rough around the edges and will hang onto the word of any older cat if it will help her become a more valued member of her clan. She can easily be a little on the stubborn side, but she is also one of the first cats who will volunteer for anything, especially if her leader or deputy asks. Within time, Redbird will become a phenomenal and valued she-cat of Treeclan.

History:
- Kithood: Redwing and Silverflower were best friends their whole lives, from kithood to their adventures as warriors. It was no surprise to everyone in Treeclan when Silverflower announced that she was expecting Redwing's kits. Unfortunately for the silver coated queen, days before she gave birth Redwing was killed by a badger when a patrol of warriors tried to drive it from their wooden territory. Two kittens were born from Silverflower's tragic loss, a she-kit and a little tom, both red in fur color. They were given the names of Redkit and Foxkit. Despite the depression their mother felt for the loss of her mate, Silverflower was an excellent queen when it came to her kits. She loved to tell them stories not only of Redwing, but of her own father Foxfang, for that was whom Foxkit was named. As they got older, Redkit and Foxkit started to venture out of the nursery and towards the edges of camp, as all curious kitten do. With Silverflower spending less and less time in the nursery as they grew, the two kits managed to scurry out of camp one day for a glorious adventure. Only, it didn't end so gloriously. While nothing serious happened to either Redkit or Foxkit, they did manage to stumble upon a cranky old rogue who decided the kittens looked like a delicious and easy meal. If it wasn't for their leader and a few warriors who hear their shrieks of terror they probably would have ended up eaten. Redkit got away unharmed, but Foxkit landed himself with a seriously shredded ear. Of course later on, he boasted about how he had an awesome battle wound.
- Apprenticeship: Finally the sixth moon of their live came, though it seemed to take forever. This is where both Redpaw and Foxpaw developed most of their personalities. Being the only kits in the nursery, their ceremony didn't take very long and Redpaw quickly met her mentor: Snowcloud, a senior warrior who had already decided that the red she-cat would be his last apprentice before he retired to the Elder's Den. He was stern, and a bit cranky as all old cats seem to be, but he was gentle and kind as well. Redpaw learned a lot from her mentor, and she was pleased to have such an expert warrior training her for her future as a warrior of Treeclan. Redpaw quickly excelled in the hunting portion of her training, though it seemed to take a little longer for her to figure out how to battle. Her legs grew faster than the rest of her so she had a hard time learning how to balance herself without being knocked over like an easy target. Luckily, she wasn't Snowcloud's first apprentice and he had the patience to help her figure out the most efficient way to battle. She also managed to kick Foxpaw's butt during their assessments, though she wondered if he really tried as hard as she did, considering he was more of a laid back sort of cat.
- Warrior: Sister and Brother were named warriors at the same time, Redbird and Foxfur, they were eighteen moons at the time. However, despite this fact, Snowcloud had been sure that Redbird was ready to be a warrior by sixteen moons. The siblings, though still close with both their mother and each other, were detouring off their separate ways. Foxfur, somewhat lazy, playful and always the flirt despite how good his hunting and fighting skills were, always seemed to lack behind his more power minded sister. Her goal in life had always been to attempt to become leader, especially if she was being the best she could at being a warrior. And even if she doesn't get to achieve that dream, then she'll be an amazing warrior that will be told about in stories long after she had joined Starclan.
RP Example:
- The sky shifted colors from blue to hints of pink as the brilliant light of the sun wavered towards nighttime. It wasn't quite Leaf-Fall yet, but hints of cooler weather floated on the lazy, evening breeze. Prey was still plentiful, but that was another thing that would wane in time, as all things do once Leaf-Bare came around. The late afternoon bustle was alive within the forest, crickets were awake to sing their lovely songs, and birds chirped here and there as if holding conversations with one another. Soon all would be silent, or rather nearly silent, and nightfall would strike and all the nocturnal beings would awake from their slumber.
- Movements were near silent through the tall grasses as paw step by paw step the pretty ginger she-cat made her way through the undergrowth, looking for a last minute hunt to bring to the elders of her clan. With how full and healthy Treeclan was, it was going to be difficult to feed everyone once the flow of food diminished. The least the gold pooled feline could do was hunt a few extra scraps to give those who couldn't fend for themselves. Feathered tail streamlined behind her as each silent movement brought her orangish form closer and closer to the mouse that was nibbling away at some sort of nut or seed it found among the roots of a tall tree.
- Golden hues, tinted somewhat green in the evening light, narrowed as she came closer and closer. Crouching down into a pouncing position, her lithe body practically folded over those lanky legs of hers to make the Treeclanner almost smaller within the foliage that she hid. The black tip of her tail twitched but for a second, the evening breeze blowing the critter's scent towards her, and luckily not the other way around. Wide ears atop her round head rotated to see if anything else was making sound around her, the shadows blocking out the vibrant color of her coat. With a wriggle of her haunces, Redbird shot herself forwards, paws leaving the hard ground as she soared to pounce onto her chosen piece of prey.
- Fangs sank into it's neck, giving a satisfying snap for before the poor creature could send out a warning squeal. Bowing her head, Redbird sent a quick thanks to Starclan before picking up the lifeless mouse within her jaws. However, the slightest of sounds caused the prey to fall back to her feet, ears wriggling to catch the noise. Her hackles raised only for a second before the Somali whipped around to come face to face with her similarly colored brother. He looked rather disappointed that she caught him.
- "Trying to scare me again?" Redbird asked in her signature raspy mew, the tip of her feathery tail flickered back and forth, almost with annoyance. She had to hold back the sigh that threatened to escape her chest, Foxfur had a chance to help catch prey and yet here he was trying to spook his clanmates. Her brother gave a lazy wave of his own red feathered tail, green eyes glancing at her once mouse before deciding to reply.
- "Come on Redbird, you haven't been any fun since we were kits." His tone was lighter than hers, but still holding the similar rasp that she had.
- "We are warriors, Foxfur, not kits." Redbird responded, attempting to not sound stern at her littermate. She just wished he would take his duties a little more seriously. His mentor had been nothing like Snowcloud, may he hunt happily within Starclan, and so Foxfur hand turned out more of a rule bender than a follower as she had. A wave of mischief passed through her golden hues for a second as she reached out to bat her paw over his shredded, left ear. "Besides, remember what happened last time we acted like kits."
- "Oh, you mean this awesome battle wound I got beating off a mean old mange-pelt?" Foxfur retorted snarkily, causing his red furred sister to roll her eyes. With a flicker of her tail against his shoulder, both an action of affection and to tell him to come on, Redbird picked up her piece of prey to return to camp.
- "Come on rogue slayer." Her raspy voice was muffled around the still warm body of the mouse as she took the lead through the ferns and fronds, Foxfur following with a snicker of amusement.
