Jaykit
Cold, that was how the young she-cat was feeling this morning as she awoke from her slumber. Normally someone would have nudged her to wake her by now but she was glad to sleep in, She wouldn't have many more days like that would she? Truthfully she didn't really know seeing as she and her siblings would become apprentices soon. Her muzzle parted as she yawned without out much sound before uncurling and standing on all four paws, blinking the sleep from her aquamarine optics. What to do now?
It was then that her gaze looked around her for anyone at all to play with. Cloudyfeather wasn't present at the time and it was even harder to tell where Batchaser was. Hmm. Then she began moving. It seemed like everyone was outside! Lightly her paws carried her to the exit of the nursery where she ran into one of the other kits, not on purpose but simply because the tom was running so fast she had little time to react so she stumbled before landing on her side. Annoyance filtered through her as she recognized him as the kit of that one kind of crazy scary she-cat. Oh what was her name... Morningfrost. Of course! She didn't really spend much time around her kits: Dawnkit, and Eaglekit. but she did often find herself watching them out of curiosity. She sat up tail twitching as her blue gaze stared at the young cat hoping he would just apologize and she wouldn't feel the need to try to demand one. Forcing her to communicate with him.
Eaglekit
Despite the cold Eaglekit had been up early learning and training and certainly trying his best to keep warm. Here he was running around and by now he had built up a little bit of endurance so he wasn't tiring nearly as easy as the other kits. He couldn't wait for his apprenticeship, He would easily beat out his sister in any sort of contest but his brothers? That was a whole different thing. It was much more clear to him that his mother preferred him over his sister but when it came to his older siblings he felt as though he could be better then them if given the chance. Unfortunately that wouldn't be possible until he was at least an apprentice.
Harestrike was going to be his biggest problem, he was strong and from what he heard a fierce fighter and at least a decent hunter. And that's exactly why the tom spent little time with him and it frustrated Eaglekit that he seemed to think he was so far above them. Thrushwhisker on the other hand at least taught them things sometimes. He could even put up with Dawnkit, a feat the young tom often found challenging.
Now? Oh right, he was running once more only this time into the nursery looking for a place to hide from his thorn in the side sibling until he could sneak up on a unsuspecting cat and scary the mice out of their fur. Unfortunetly he didn't account on Jaykit turning the corner so he slammed straight into her knocking her over and nearly landing on his face himself. He caught himself though and instead stood next to the she-kit his gaze glancing at her to notice she was staring. What in the world was with her? His mind contemplated on apologizing or just moving. Clearly she hadn't been paying attention to where she had been going either or she would have gotten out of his way. So he opted for the latter and simply ducked around the corner and sat next to the den wall away from the exit with his back towards her.
