{{OOC: I just had a streak of genius XD}}
Lunarpaw watched the Medicine Cat's mouth move slowly, but she couldn't hear anything. She felt a rush of wind through her pelt. "Pebbleheart? PEBBLEHEART?!?!?" She yowled and opened her blue eyes to see Mistheart instead of the ShadowClan tom.
Her white fur was matted with clumps of moss, the she-cat was taking quick and raspy breaths. She allowed her head to fall back unto the moss bedding and she sighed. The meowed, "I know I was supposed to listen to Pebbleheart.... but something took him away."

Mistheart had been ready for Lunarpaw’s awakening, but that had not been what she had expecting. Her blue eyes grew wide with surprise and her tabby tail lifted high. ’Are you alright?’ she asked as her apprentice called out to Pebbleheart. This dream must have been important! she thought to herself hoping that Lunarpaw would be able to remember it.
As the apprentice breathed in raspy breaths the pale tabby medicine cat licked her on the head comfortingly, like a mother does for her kits when they are born. ’Here eat this,’ she mewed poking the plump mouse she had brought for her earlier. ’What did Pebbleheart say? Or did he just vanish straight away?’ she asked curiously sitting on the hard floor of the den, here tail wrapped around her white paws.

Her muzzle immidiately went into the fresh-kill, Lunarpaw realized she was starving. After a few bites she sat up and licked her mouth back to it's white color. Her pale yellow eyes stared straight into the misty blue ones of Mistheart.
"He was talking to me, but someone or something stopped him. I could see him speaking, but I could only hear wind and... it was very, very cold." The white apprentice shivered and pressed her forehead against Mistheart's shoulder. She was scared. In a few days she probably would have denied it, but right now she wanted her mentor with her.

Mistheart smiled, she was glad to see her apprentice eating and not too paranoid about her dream. She waited patiently for her white apprentice to stop eating, what ever it was could wait until it was told. She lifted a white paw and began to lick it tentatively, flicking her blue eyes at Lunarpaw every so often to see how much of the mouse she had eaten.
She placed her paw on the hard earth and flicked her tabby ears towards the apprentice as she began to talk. As Lunarpaw recalled the dream she tried to think desperately about what this could mean, nothing came to her, Ravenstar ought to know about this anyway. As the white cat leaned her head on her shoulder Mistheart comforted her. Her pale brown tail wrapped around Lunarpaw while Mistheart licked her with her pink tongue on the head. ’Don’t worry Lunarpaw,’ she mewed kindly, ’We will get to the meaning of it, and we shall tell Ravenstar too!’

The white she-cat allowed her mentor to soothe her, she could hear Mistheart's soft breathing near her ear. Lunarpaw's ears flattened as she returned to her moss bed and curled up to sleep.
Mother...
Lunarpaw could barely recall her mother, back when she was in the nursery. She was always in the Medicine Den now with Mistheart, and secretly her pranks had been to get the Warriors' attention. Most of all, her mother to recognize her as her daughter.
The apprentice let her black marked tail cover her nose as she sighed. Mistheart and Ravenstar seemed like her only family.

Mistheart began to purr in the hope that her apprentice would feel comforted more than ever; she seemed very shook up by her dream. As Lunarpaw moved away from her to be in her moss bed once again the pale tabby cat looked at her carefully. Is she going back to sleep? she asked herself wondering whether she should keep an eye on her in case she had more of the dream.
She padded lightly over to her own moss bed, she was not however going to sleep. She laid down, her white paws curled under her chest and her ears relaxed. Her blue eyes flicked from the den entrance and Lunarpaw. She may as well be comfy as she watched over her apprentice, almost like a mother and her kits.

The white she-cat sighed, she felt insomnic. Her mentor hadn't even.... oh, she didn't want to even think about it! Lunarpaw turned over in her nest and looked at Mistheart. Her voice was quiet as she meowed, "Did you know my mother very well?"
The she-cat didn't know how Mistheart would answer. Lunarpaw had never really know anything about her own mother...

Misthearts ears pricked as she heard something coming from Lunarpaw, but her small ears and lack of hearing prevented her from hearing properly. She felt bad making the obviously distressed apprentice repeat herself.
She stood up onto her white paws and leaned over to the white apprentice, ’What did you say Lunarpaw?’ she asked kindly hoping she wouldn’t mind repeating herself. She knew that her small ears were her worst feature and a major disadvantage to her, especially in times like this where cats were scared to speak up, or in a state of shock or worry. The tabby she cat had her ears pricked for the quietest words her apprentice might say, she was determined to hear her if she repeated it for her.

"D-did you know..... my mother?" Lunarpaw meowed a little louder. She sat up to see Mistheart, her black tail curled around her paws and her eyes quickly retreated to the floor. It was a stupid question, but... Lunarpaw had always been on her own in a way. "Shadowear?"
Lunarpaw thought about her brothers, Darkpaw and Blackpaw. Both of them were solid black cats with amber eyes, but she was different. She was white, she had pale yellow eyes. She was a she-cat who was never acknowledged as their kin....

Mistheart lifted her tabby head as she heard her apprentices question. She licked Lunarpaw comfortingly with her pink tongue as she looked to the floor, is she ashamed of her question? she asked herself. ’Yes, I knew of her.’ she mewed, although she knew the name she did not know much about her.
’However, I don’t know enough about her too talk about her…’ she added hoping that her white apprentice would not be too upset or disappointed in her lack of information. She knew Lunarpaw had had a lonely kithood and that’s why Mistheart cared for her more, even if she did get annoyed at her some times.

Lunarpaw didn't reply, she felt that she couldn't. The Medicine Apprentice laid down, her chin on her paws and tail curled over her sprawled out legs. Blackpaw and Darkpaw.... She realized she had onnly put mouse bile in the Apprentices den because she didn't know where they slept, because she couldn't tell their scents apart from the other apprentices....
Her brothers always left her by herself; alone, afraid, uncertai, questioning. She never had her family understanding what she did or why she worked so hard to be a Medicine cat. Even though, at one time she had wanted to become a Warrior now it seemed like a faraway dream. One that didn't matter much on the outskirts of her memories.

The pale tabby cat watched over Lunarpaw more, she definetly looked troubled, did all of this come from that mysterious dream? Mistheart asked herself a little worried. If a small dream like that affected her so badly what would a full blown prophecy do to her. Mistheart sometimes wondered whether her apprentice really belonged with her, after all she had started off on the road to being a warrior, and she did want to learn to fight as well. But then the medicine cat just looked at how far she had come, even in the last few days, she had been misbehaving but had taken responsibility for her actions and picked them up, helping the nest day to gather herbs despite the moist and sticky soil.
Mistheart leaned over her apprentice once more and licked her on the ear before sitting back into her own nest. I will take care of you Lunarpaw, she said in her head, she would be the mother that the apprentice missed.

How did I get here? Why does it feel.... like this? Why does my fanily matter all of a sudden? I know it wasn't Pebbleheart's fault but..... I wonder, who am I? Am I meant to be a Medicine Cat? What will my name be? Would it have been different if I was a warrior? What is the use for Lavender? Why the heck am I asking myself so many questions? It helps fevers, mouse-brain. Am I talking to myself? ARG!
Lunarpaw had finally let herself fall asleep, but found herself alone in the darkness. Surrounded by unanswered questions jumbled together. She could scent Pebbleheart near, but the StarClan warrior didn't show himself. Yet.

Mistheart gave a wide, silent yawn, her sharp teeth and pink tongue shown as she did so. She was fighting sleep in her watch over Lunarpaw and was not sure how much longer she could last for. She pulled herself out of her nest and padded around her den, she was determined not to go to sleep in case her apprentice woke up having had another dream, she did not want to miss anything important.
The tabby she cat padded up to the den entrance and peered out into camp, I wonder what the rest of the clan are doing at the minute, she thought, automatically looking over to Ravenstar’s den. The leader would need to be informed of any dream that the apprentice may or may not have.

Lunarpaw blinked into a shaft of light. She sat up and began to stretch, annoyed by the rude awakening. She turned and began to groom her pelt, clearing away moss and any fur tostled from last night. The she-cat padded over to her mentor to see if Mistheart was awake. "Today, can we go out to black woods? I guess we should probably look for anything we need....."
