Name: Pipitwing
Age: 14 moons
Gender: She-cat
Clan: NightClan
Rank: Warrior
Picture:
Description:
Pipitwing is a pretty, pale orange tabby she-cat with dark gold eyes. This feline has a very feminine and refined look, from the faintness of her ginger pelt, to the litheness of her seemingly delicate form. Her nose is a rosy pink, and pale whiskers poke delicately from her white muzzle. Chrome wraps around her cheeks and curls between her eyes, leaving her with a crimson blaze stretching from her forehead to her nose. She is a creamy orange with a ginger tabby overcoat, and in the pallid light of the moon, Pipitwing almost looks like a cat from Starclan. She has four white paws and white stretching from her chin, all the way under her belly to between her back legs. She stands out in the night, almost like a ghost cat. Pipitwing is a very feminine and dainty she-cat, which has oftentimes won her "friends" or support, but others quickly find out that her beauty is mostly superficial. This femme's personality is about as desperate and selfish as they come.
Description Summary:
A pretty, pale orange tabby she-cat with dark gold eyes.
Personality:
From the beginning, it was clear that winning the favor of her peers has always mattered more to this she-cat than it has to her siblings, and though she doesn't quite understand it herself, she has this visceral need to be loved and admired. Unfortunately, her desperate need for attention and veneration is not actually paired with real charisma and respect. She oftentimes finds herself trapped in fake friendships with manipulative and persuasive cats, blind to their true intentions. Pipitwing tries so hard to build a popular reputation that she is often used by others. Saying she is vain would be extremely accurate. Pipitwing will use any one of her assets to achieve a higher status, her charm and good likes included.
If she has a clan full of friends, then perhaps they will never see that she is the black sheep of the family. Newtstripe has always held a special place in their father's heart, anyone with eyes can see that, and Stoatclaw's determination to make a name for herself can lead nowhere but to greatness. But Pipitwing? Pipitwing is the odd cat out, a completely average warrior who has always wanted to be more than that. No one in her family understands that she aims for popularity because her charm and beauty are the only things she has going for her. Pipitwing has been so focused on being who others want her to be, that who she truly is will most likely never come to light.
Pipitwing is drawn to impressive and powerful warriors like a moth to a flame because she hopes that their approval can replace that horrible feeling of incompetence that has buried itself deep in her chest. To her distaste and annoyance, she only really attracts others' pity like flies on rotten flesh, though she hardly knows why. In her world, friends are often made and lost at the drop of a stone, and loyalty is an empty value. Pipitwing follows those who seem to prove themselves as powerful to the clan, or those who are willing to offer her something great in turn. In her latter years, it wouldn't be a surprise for her to develop into a manipulative and persuasive character. She is easily corrupted with promises of respect and reward, which is hardly a surprise. Pipitwing has a weak set of morals and beliefs, and when it comes down to right and wrong, it can be assumed that this desperado will choose the path that leads her closest to a long-desired reverence.
History:
Pipitwing is the younger daughter and youngest kit of Lightstep and Sunstorm, sister of Newtstripe and Stoatclaw.
Pipitwing's memories of kithood are faint and unimpressive. The three kits established their personalities in the nursery, each taking up a certain role. Pipitkit wanted nothing more than to be involved with the popular crowd, and as a kitten, she was. It wasn't until apprenticehood that she realized winning the likes of others was much more complicated and difficult than it was before she was assigned responsibilities. She found that many began judging her harshly based off of her actions, which made her more self-conscious and focused on being who others wanted to see her become. Perhaps it made her mentor happy seeing what she became: a good warrior, made great through praise and encouragement.
Apprenticehood for Pipitwing was a huge learning curve. She adapted quickly to her new role, pleasing her mentor and the elder's to the best of her abilities. She avoided her siblings for the most part, because Newtstripe was weird and her sister made Pipitwing feel insignificant, so she found her happiness interacting with the cool kids, of whom were just as worried about their own image as she was. This made her even more vain around her peers and family, though to her superiors, she remained a diligent, suck-up. It wasn't until she received her warrior name that empty praise and a mere listening ear stopped having the desired effect of fulfillment and confidence. Her goals and desires had become muddled, and to escape from the confusion and loneliness of an empty and loveless life, Pipitwing buried herself in warrior duties, succumbing to a disheartening seclusion from both family and friends. Although, only a couple moons passed with her in such a lost state. Now, Pipitwing finds herself back on track, following her peers, inevitably trying to win the hearts and minds of whomever will have it so, this time with more confidence and persistence than ever before.
