Rays of bright warm light blessed the centre of camp in a wordless answer to everyone's prayers, filling the clearing with a dazzling new heat that Foxtrot couldn't help but take advantage of. With a languid stretch the brilliantly red-furred tom let himself arch then release his back, paws reaching out in front of him as his claws rasped against the ground and his soft pink tongue curled in a yawn. He took a few steps out of the warriors' den before promptly flopping onto his side in the sunlight, his bushy red tail descending elegantly to meet him on the ground as he wriggled around there to find a comfortable position. It had been so fox-dung freezing over these past few days that the tom was sore grateful to have the chance to warm himself, especially since LightningClan had manged to grab the SunStones out from under them. Foxtrot snorted softly at the thought, scrunching up his eyes and trying to concentrate instead on the feeling of warmth that was making its way into his skin, the light haloing his form and making his bright fur even brighter. He sighed gently before starting to purr, letting his worries fall away as he started to people-watch, glancing at the goings on in the camp and grinning impishly as he looked for someone to pester. The sleek, jet black tom cat exited the warrior den and stretched with a long yawn before he padded over to the fresh kill pile. Queen and kits had to eat first, and it was a bit too early for them to have done so yet, so he was just seeing what all was there for every one to eat. For the season being Leaf-Fall, it was well stocked. Vipertail let out a happy mrrow at the sight and then turned and glanced around to look for some one to talk to while he waited till it was his turn to eat. Lucky for him, he spotted one of the cats he was slightly familiar with, and one that wasn't some grumpy old warrior like Thistletail or Talonfoot. With a flick of his tail and a warm smile on his face, he approached the red tom on the rocks and let out a small laugh at the sight Foxtrot stretched out, "Having fun?" He asked with a roll of his eyes, hopping up beside the other warrior and laying out himself, still making sure that they both had enough room to move about and stretch their limbs to their heart's content.TAG: @sparrowkeeper WORDS: 211 NOTES: *jumps in*

Ah ha!
Foxtrot grinned as he saw Vipertail padding over to him, rolling over to look at the warrior as he got closer and giving him a quick glance up and down,
"Well I certainly am now,"
He purred, resting his chin on his front paws as he watched Vipertail lay down next to him, dark yellow eyes glittering playfully,
"I dearly hope you've come here to try and woo me. I've been sooooooo bored with the day to day struggles of the camp and I need a little of the spice of romance in my life."
He lamented, rolling onto his back and covering his eyes dramatically as he said it.
"I simply can't go on like this you know? I need a brave strong tom to keep me entertained,"
He gave Vipertail the side-eye, still grinning and obviously trying to tease him. He was fully aware that Vipertail was straight as an arrow, but he loved to poke fun. He found it especially funny since Vipertail was in fact smaller than him.
"Well?"
He mewed, rolling back onto his front and raising his eyebrows a few times.

The young warrior rolled his eyes at all of the flirting teases, but decided to roll along with it. He of course had no attraction towards males, a fact he was sure Foxtrot was aware of, but that didn't mean he couldn't joke around.
"Of course, why else would I have shimmied myself up here next to someone?" He raised a brow at the red warrior, "It's not every day someone as wonderful and courageous as myself walks up and talks to some other cat out of the blue." He rubbed his head along Foxtrot's flank affectionately and let out a purr, "Consider this your lucky day~" He retracted himself away from Foxtrot and laughed soundly, stretching out beside his fellow warrior. Of course Vipertail was the kind of guy to teasingly flirt back, it's how he rolled. Nothing could catch him off guard! Nothing!
"I think today is every one's lucky day actually, hunting wise. Prey will be out this after noon if the heat keeps up like this. Perhaps I'll ask a certain foxy tom to go hunting with me?" While Vipertail was still returning the teased Foxtrot had sent him, he was serious about going hunting later, and why not ask the first cat who had been given the honor or talking to him today? Besides, unlike many of the warriors in the clan, Foxtrot seemed to be fun-loving instead of a complete grump.TAG: @sparrowkeeper WORDS: 247 NOTES:

"Consider this your lucky day~"
That sounded like Vipertail. Honeypaw's ear angled towards the warriors' den, and not for the first time did her paws itch to carry her there, to squeeze in next to Herondive and act as though she belonged with the other warriors. Still just a 'paw... There was no reason why she couldn't ask Vipertail to go hunting with her? Herondive wouldn't think that was peculiar, would she? Honeypaw wasn't the fretting sort. She followed her heart, and her heart was further encouraged by her imagination and significant optimism; with her tail raised high, the she-cat approached the warriors den.
About to call in, she caught the tail end of a conversation in progress.
"I think today is every one's lucky day actually, hunting wise. Prey will be out this after noon if the heat keeps up like this. Perhaps I'll ask a certain foxy tom to go hunting with me?"
A certain foxy tom? Vipertail had practically purred those words, and Honeypaw, her heart hammering in her ears, thrust her head and shoulders through the entrance, tail fluffing up in astonishment as she found Vipertail and Foxtrot, er, cuddling.
Her ears pinned flat to her skull when she noticed they were looking right at her - and that she hadn't actually said anything. "Ohsorrywrongden!" The apprentice squeaked and hurried back out into the middle of camp. As if a pebble thrown down a mountainside, her brain was spinning, question after question hurtling round in her skull like bees. Does Vipertail like toms? Is that why he doesn't have a mate with kits yet? Is that why he doesn't notice me? Honeypaw practically danced on her paws, too full of nervous energy, too unsure of what to do.
Still in shock, Honeypaw glanced back at the warriors' den, hoping she had imagined it. Hoping they were just really good friends. But Vipertail was FLIRTING with him, and Foxtrot was flirting back! Of course, Foxtrot flirted with everyone but.... but...

Foxtrot's grin just got wider, and he raised his eyebrows in return, half purring and half chuckling as Vipertail regaled himself for being wonderful and courageous. The black tom did tend to have a large ego, but then who was Foxtrot to complain? Half the time he thought he was StarClan's gift to cats. "Why certainly- Ou!"He started slightly, not having expected Vipertail to go so far as to rub up against him, but immediately went back to purring, little being able to really set him off in terms of flirtation. "Vipes darling, I'm touched that you'd be so forward with me."He laughed, joining in with Vipertail's own mirth as the toms lay there next to each other, languid in the warm sunlight that streamed down upon them. They must look like they had a spotlight on them, bright and illuminated near the den entrance. He smiled softly, lowering his eyelids in a relaxed way as he continued, "Anything to be graced by your esteemed company, especially if I got to walk behind- Oh dear!"Foxtrot had turned to look at Honeypaw as she had arrived, noting the mingled shock and horror on the apprentice's face, Competition for my black stallion? Bless her heartShe had darted away quickly however, and Foxtrot certainly didn't want her to feel left out, plus this was a great oppurtunity to mess with Vipertail, "Honeypaw don't go! There's always room for three!"He called after her @silverwing Fawn

Vipertail was about to retort with a storm of more flirting when movement caught the corner of his eyes. He turned to see Honeypaw swiftly making her way out of a den that... wasn't hers, and into the center of the camp. She looked puzzled, scared, even. He glanced to Foxtrot as he called the apprentice over and then turned his jungle green eyes back to the younger she, "Yeah, hop on up and I can tease you too~" He quickly regretted his words, Honeypaw already looked shocked and nervous. Perhaps he should be a little less teasing with her and a little more concerned about whatever had spooked her?
"Hehe... Just joking about messing with you. You really should join us though, it's warm up here and you seem cool enough to hang out with us." He still couldn't help but wink at her as he called out to her, smiling brightly and encouragingly. Little Honeypaw was indeed a cool kitty, or at least Vipertail thought so. He wished he talked to her more often, but since she was already friends with his sister... well, He didn't want to make things awkward. Besides, she probably wasn't the type who liked to mess around and get into trouble like he did, she seemed like a goody two shoes. TAG: @sparrowkeeper Fawn WORDS: 226 NOTES:

Her confusion only grew exponentially as she heard Foxtrot's and Vipertail's voice calling her back over, inviting her into the warriors' den of all places. "I'm, uh, not allowed to be in there," she replied meekly, the excitement felt over the dark-furred tom actually talking to her was subdued by the raging torrent of misunderstandings in her heart. What is going on? Does he like Foxtrot or are they just playing around? Vipertail didn't get embarrassed often. Neither did Foxtrot, if she thought about it...
"I-I didn't mean to interrupt anything." It was a lame finishing statement, but it was the best she could do. Somehow feeling more embarrassed than both cats combined, Honeypaw kneaded the ground with her paws, squirming as if glancing around for some sort of exit - a patrol to join, an opportunity to go train with Ospreywing - anything to make her departure any less awkward than her arrival.
Maybe she should go in? What if they both thought she was a mousebrain for being so meek and cowardly? If this was a test to be passed, Honeypaw wasn't prepared for it at all. Competing with her desire to get away was the need to impress Vipertail. To prove that she was good company - maybe better than Foxtrot, though jealousy and competitiveness had never been strong traits of hers.

30 Moons ~ Tom ~ Bisexual ~ StoneClan WarriorFoxtrot's gaze softened as he saw Honeypaw kneading the ground fretfully, pity fluttering in his heart for the young she-cat. He had no intention of making her actively upset, and that seemed to be what he was doing, so the tom tried to calm the flames a little. "Come now Honeypaw, don't overthink it. Vipertail and I are just joking around with each other, nothing more."He smiled at her warmly, tail flicking in the sunlight with a deeply relaxed air about him. "You're allowed in here if we invite you, and I'm sure you'd add a touch of class to our conversation and save me from the teasing advances of this handsome tom."He gestured to Vipertail, pretending to swoon a little as he spoke, the temptation of being dramatic resurfacing again and taking over from his need to not stir the pot. A bit more of a veteran of relationships, the tom had sensed a little of the reasons for Honeypaw's obvious distress, and the urge to push the pair's buttons was a little too great. "Please come and distract him from taunting me with false hope my darling. I think he plays for your team, not mine, and he's sure to love the company of such a beautiful young she-cat as yourself."He smiled at Vipertail, "Don't you agree?" 231 Words ~ Fawn @silverwing ~ Notes

HERONDIVE Much to her surprise, Herondive had awoken that morning to find bright sunlight shining just outside. Racing out of camp on the tail of the Dawn Patrol (although definitely not a part of it), Herondive was determined to use the beautiful weather to do some good for the Clan: a little bit of battle practice to ensure her skills remained sharp, followed by hunting for the Clan. As the sun began its climb through the sky and the rest of the Clan began to stir back at camp, Herondive leapt for the sky, powerful hind legs throwing her into the air.
Twists, turns and springboards; she tested them all. Admittedly, she ended up rolling in the dirt a couple times, her cream and white coat a little darker than usual thanks to the thin coating of dust sprinkled over her. The mock-training continued until the she-cat found herself out of breath, muscles trembling from the effort of launching herself into the air so many times. Shaking out her fur (yet not managing to dispel all the dirt flecked through her pelt), Herondive decided that was probably enough for today, and that she should focus on hunting for the rest of the morning.
As she padded toward the Barren Scrublands, however, a strange thing occurred. The shadow of a bird flicked on the ground below her, small in size and no danger to the she-cat. Or so she thought, until something small but with a surprising impact force collided with her head. "YEE-OW!" She cried out in alarm, staggering slightly as an acorn bounced along the ground near her paws. A dull throb began in her skull, despite her efforts to clear it with a shake of her head. Groaning softly, she took a seat to stare at the ground and try to blink her vision clear.
After some time sitting with a headache aggravated by the sharp sunlight, Herondive gave up on her quest to hunt for the Clan and instead began the return journey to camp, her pawsteps zigzagging slightly as she moved. Admittedly, movement and the cool air cleared a little of the dizziness, but the StoneClan warrioress wanted nothing more than to crawl into the darkness of the warrior's den and sleep away her headache. Muttering the entire way back about TreeClan and their stupid oak trees, Herondive felt certain the return journey was several cat lengths longer than her initial journey had been.
Finally! She groaned inwardly, ducking through the familiar camp entrance and making a beeline for the warrior's den. So caught up was she in just getting back before the sunlight split her skull in two, she failed to notice the apprentice (and one of her best friends nonetheless) standing in the entrance. And so, instead of swerving around her like any normal cat might, Herondive crashed right into her, tripping in the process and finding herself on her back with her paws splayed in various directions.
A loud, dazed groan escaped her as her world spun momentarily, Herondive flopping onto one side eventually to try and sort out what had happened. Squinting through the dizziness and pain, Herondive's blue eyes peered at the figure of two toms nearby. "..Trotfox I mean Foxtrot? What're you... Oh, hey Honeyviper. I mean Viperpaw. Honeytail? Wait what?" She stopped then, very much preoccupied by what appeared to be her brother cuddling with another tom. warrior of stoneclan Fawn @sparrowkeeper @silverwing | background image | table by phoenix Note: 18 moons

VipertailStoneClan - 18 Moons - Tom - Warrior Vipertail chuckled slightly, realizing why Honeypaw had probably been caught so off guard "Right, Honeypaw, Foxtrot and I we're just playing around a little bit. You should know how I am with that sort of stuff." He purred happily, "So come on and join us! Unless you're a fraidy cat about getting caught in the warrior's den with us big cats?" He teased playfully, tail flickering.
Vipertail turned his smile back to foxtrot and nodded accordingly, "Of course I agree, darling~" He mocked Foxtrot's charming tone and laughed at himself afterwards for doing so. Foxtrot was quite enjoyable, thus far. As movement and a familiar voice clipped his ears, he turned his smile again towards a new onlooker, his green eyes focusing on Herondive, his sister, who seemed to be confused with her words.
"Did you hit your head or something, Heron?" He asked with a muffled snicker, his tail over his maw as he tried to contain himself. "Foxtrot, Honeypaw, Vipertail, your brother? StarClan help you, is your memory as bad as the elder's?" He over annunced everything as he spoke to further tease his sister on the jumble of mixed names she had spouted upon her arrival.
"Whatever, come on and lay out in the sun with us. It's nice and warm today so we're enjoying it while it lasts." ## - @tags - Notes

"Please come and distract him from taunting me with false hope my darling. I think he plays for your team, not mine, and he's sure to love the company of such a beautiful young she-cat as yourself."
Honeypaw blushed so hard she was certain she'd turned into a calico-tabby, as if the ginger patches would suddenly come to life on her face, throat, chest and paws. 'I think he plays for your team, not mine'. Honeypaw stole a glance at Vipertail, who added his own reassurances; Honeypaw felt her heart, which had been spiraling into the depths of despair, right itself mid-fall.
So there IS still a chance. Foxtrot seemed to have... to have guessed her feelings right away; wishing she could send the tom a pleading look to keep quiet about her secret, the appearance of Herondive had her leaping out of her fur all over again. A nervous giggle tumbled out of her maw, and she gave her chest fur a few needless licks. "They're, uh, just playing around!" She mewed to her best friend, headbutting her gently in the shoulder. Suddenly seized the tempting urge to squeeze right between the two toms, claiming it was too cold for a short-coated catch such as herself to sit all alone, Honeypaw flushed further, knowing in her heart of hearts that she could never be so bold. It meant a lot that they were inviting her to be in there with them.
Honeypaw threw a glance around the clearing, wondering if any of the warriors were keeping an eye on her. The warriors' den was meant to be an achievement, a reward for hard work... If she just went in at her leisure as if she were a warrior herself, would it spoil it, when she finally got her ceremony and could rightfully step into the den?
"I really shouldn't. Will you all save me a nest, please? I - I think I might be joining you all soon." Honeypaw purred, starting to recover properly from her, er, shock. Turning to focus on Herondive, she noticed the she-cat's startled expression seem to go beyond Vipertail and Foxtrot's cuddle-session. With a touch of concern, Honeypaw pressed her nose to her friend's ear. "Are you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost-badger."

30 Moons ~ Tom ~ Bisexual ~ StoneClan WarriorFoxtrot tilted his head a little in disappointment as his rise passed Vipertail by. Honeypaw reacted beautifully, full blown blush and everything, but Foxtrot had really been trying to make Vipertail squirm and it hadn't worked. He raised his brows and laughed good naturedly as Herondive arrived, purring and shaking his head softly as Vipertail corrected her and Honeypaw explained things to her. The tom glanced wryly at Honeypaw as she head-butted Herondive, seeing her relax a little as the attention was taken off her. He flicked his tail and glanced away, deciding not to push things any further to embarrass her, it just wouldn't be fun anymore. The tom flopped to the side, rolling onto his back as he glanced at Honeypaw, "Naw, well alright if you insist. I'm not one to make anyone do something they don't want to."He mewed, stretching out as he felt the sun fully soaking into his body. If nothing else, he felt like he was starting to overheat, and the russet tom started to get to his paws with a yawn. "I think I might beat it too, gonna take my bright red rear out into the territories for some grub."He said, padding gently out and past Honeypaw and Herondive. "Goodbye darling"He blew a kiss back at Vipertail, then headed out while throwing a comment at Honeypaw, "Hope you join us soon then Honeypaw, or perhaps Honeyheart? Who knows? You're certainly sweet enough."He winked, walking out with a swish of his bushy red tail. 264 Words ~ Fawn BlooRey DVD @silverwing ~

HERONDIVE Sharp blue eyes narrowed in a glare as her brother enunciated every syllable of the names he prattled off. Granted, she had managed to screw up the names of her own brother and her best friend, but... She had an excuse. ...Hit on the head with an acorn was an excuse right? With another wince and a soft groan, she slowly let her gaze drift to Honeypaw. The apprentice was fussing over her, Herondive's ear twitching as a nose pressing to it. Dimly aware of Foxtrot taking his leave, the StoneClan warrioress mumbled some sort of farewell to the older warrior.
Allowing her body to just... Slide to the ground, Herondive made a valiant effort to block out any remaining light by putting her paws over her eyes. She also felt the need to defend herself further against her brother's previous teasing. "Ghost-badger... I wish. At least that would be cool." She grumbled, her tail tip twitching irritably. "And no, Vipertail," She stressed his name, making sure she got it right this time. "I didn't hit my head. Something hit my head." Peeking out from under a paw with a narrowed gaze, she glanced toward her best friend again.
"Stupid bird... Dropped an acorn that managed to peg me square on the head. While it was flying!" She meowed, exasperation coloring her tone. "Now I have a persistent headache that's prohibiting me from hunting for the Clan." With a defeated sigh, she re-positioned her paws over her eyes, apparently perfectly content laying a tail-length away from the entrance to the warrior's den, despite there being no actual bedding beneath her body. warrior of stoneclan Fawn @sparrowkeeper @silverwing | background image | table by phoenix Note: 18 moons
