It began gradually and worsened with each passing minute. Sorrelflower was exiting the warriors' den when it hit; the daydreaming, which perhaps wasn't a strong enough word for what she experienced, but to most other cats that was what it was. Something amiss inside her head. She waltzed to a secluded corner of camp where she could safely allow the moment passage. She felt slightly woozy, as she always did whenever these things happened. She laid down like a ton of dead weight and let her mind roam, in that uncontrollable fashion it tended to. Colors, sensations and strange images romped through all six of her senses. She hoped dearly that no one would come up to her and interrupt her strangeness, because that sort of thing only managed to make it unpleasant. Sorrelflower, in a brief moment of lucidity, glanced around and to her relief found no one watching her. With any luck it would last.

The tortoiseshell she-cat yawned as she heard someone get up from their nest and she looked around. Her eyes caught on to a form leaving the den and she focused for a moment before she saw that it was Sorrelflower. That she-cat was constantly daydreaming and never doing anything, but for Blackfire, it was always fun to tease her and make her daydreams worse and meaner. The she-cat rose from her nest and she stretched. She hit someone on accident and she didn't care really. She finished her stretch before she walked out of the den.

She then looked around the camp and saw that Sorrelflower went to the normal spot that she went to before she laid down and fell into her daydream. Blackfire slowed her step and she quieted it as well. She was going to sneak up on the she-cat and scare her. Blackfire was doing just that too, it took her a few moments to get to the other she-cat, but once she did, the tortoiseshell was in the air and landing right next to Sorrelflower. "Wake Up!" She yowled to the other she-cat before she backed away quickly and started to laugh.

Sorrelflower shrieked, the words coursing like lightning bolts through her ears. She flinched violently, and with wide eyes swiveling in the intruder's direction she saw, to her dismay, that it was Blackfire. Again. She feared this she-cat, even disliked her on some level, which was a rare thing for such an easygoing cat like Sorrelflower. She huffed and puffed as her heart threatened to beat out of her chest painfully. Curling up into a ball almost pathetically, she placed her front paws over her head in an attempt to regain herself, as if holding her head would somehow still the thoughts within it. She stayed that way for a long moment. She slowly looked up, warily, mouth not working for a brief moment before she found her voice, "Why...did you do that?" Her tone was shaken and she suddenly wished dearly that her brother Sandstrike was there with her.

The shriek that came from the other she-cat and she started to laugh harder to where she had to actually sit down. She had tears in her eyes by the time she actually stopped and she looked at Sorrelflower. It was so much fun for her to pick on the she-cat, because she made it so easy. Blackfire also knew that she was feared by the other she-cat which just made the torment ten times better to her. She watched she she flinched and shook and tried to calm herself, and she smiled almost evilly.

"Why...did you do that?" Hearing those words, kind of perked her amusement some more. Messing with Sorrelflower was probably the only reason she ever laughed right now, which she thought was good, but others didn't think that as much. Blackfire stopped laughing long enough to reply though. "Why? Because it is fun. Because you are so easy to mess with. Because you don't fight back." Blackfire named the top three reasons why she messed with Sorrelflower and she flicked her tail with amusement and irritation at the fact that she was still here and talking.

Sorrelflower thought those were terrible reasons to pick on someone. StarClan, any reason was a bad reason. She tried to stop her pulsing heartbeat but it was to no avail. She felt weak and frail. With watering eyes she stuttered, "Leave me be. My b-brother won't be happy about this." She had never tried to threaten Blackfire with her sibling before, and knew it probably wouldn't work. She had a feeling Blackfire was scarcely afraid of anyone. Still, it might deter the other she-cat, if only for a moment, long enough for Sorrelflower to slip away without anymore biting comments being shot after her. In fact, in the small pause between what she'd said and whatever Blackfire might say next, she tried to slink past her fellow TreeClanner, back to the warriors' den where she might be able to find safety in numbers, perhaps even be able to tell Sandstrike what happened, because this relationship with Blackfire was getting out of hand, and her brother deserved to know about it eventually, if only because they were family.
