There was no particular reason for her wandering today, she just wanted to wander. The tortoiseshell she-cat had left her den moments ago and went to the kill pile. She would eat then hunt and patrol, yeah that sounded about right to her. The she-cat grabbed a mouse and went to settle under one of the trees. But as she ate, a strong scent reached her nose, and a fresh one at that. She knew that smell, perfectly well. The she-cats cackles rose instantly at the scent and she buried the fear that tried to rise. She was over the past, and she would ride herself of her own demons if she needed to. She focused more then on her food than the disturbing smell that bugged her, and boy did it bug her.

But once she finished her meal, she grabbed the bones and went to bury them. After that was done, she licked her paws and maw clean, that was something that she did all the time. She may not flirt with the males like some of the cats here, but she sure did like looking clean. The she-cat then looked around before she left the camp. She didn't tell anyone where she was to go, and she frankly didn't care of the trouble that could come of this. She knew the scent of the demon that lurked around her home. But she dared not speak his name just yet. Instead, she followed it. The smell seemed to take her deeper and deeper into the marshes, before she finally stopped in a clearing and she saw the form of the cat who made her cackles rise so quickly.

"Wolfsnarl, you know well that you were banished from these lands. Why are you here?" Why the sweet talk, she didn't know, or maybe it was because he was her father. Yes, the father who made her trust no one. The father who broke her leg when she was an apprentice. The father who shaped this she-cat to whom she is this very day. She stood in her spot, and her tail flicked in annoyance. She just wanted to hunt for her clan, the clan that took care of her after the betrayal of her father, after his treatment to her was revealed by someone other than herself. "Aw come now dear child, you know you cannot hold ill thoughts of me. I am the reason you are today." She spat at his words then and dug her claws into the ground.

But the male just sat where he was and let his daughter get mad. Blackfire's anger and past were both catching up to her and quickly, and she would lose it soon, and Wolfsnarl knew this. She started to pace in a line where she was and she just waited. He was going to make the first move. For one, he wasn't on her territory just yet, but he was just on the border. She would wait for him to cross that line, and she knew that he would, especially since a squirrel was moving by. She ignored it, and she watched him. He hadn't eaten in days, and she could tell, easily. And that was when his hunger got to him, and he jumped over the border to the squirrel, but she tackled him in mid jump.

"Wrong move." She mumbled with a mouthful of fur. She was not going to waste time, and she didn't. She threw him to the ground and she bit into his neck and she tasted blood, and a lot of it. She held him down as he struggled and she waited, for minutes, before she felt his body not move. In fact, it had not been moving for a good while before she finally removed herself from the dead, cold body of her father. She just stared at him and she felt water form in her eyes, but she held it back. She was not about to show this weakness just after killing her worse demon, Wolfsnarl.

She looked in the bushes though and saw a familiar form. Juniperheart, just go back to camp. I don't care if you are mad at me." But her sister didn't leave, instead she just walked over to the still body and Blackfire saw tears fall from her sister's face. Blackfire rose from her spot and she turned and left. She would let her sister mourn their father, and she would let her bury his now frozen body. She didn't care anymore.
