ASPENFROST --- though i know i'll never lose affection
Careful green-blue gaze fluttered as a pretty golden spotted she-cat gazed at the ground of the Little Woods. This beautiful place Aspenfrost had found was completely unlike the rest of StoneClan territory. While the she-cat did appreciate the similar all gray-scale ground and little plant life that was her usual view, seeing the bright green grass peeking up among the pebbles did put a quiet grin on Aspenfrost's maw. Sometimes it is good to see something different, the taciturn warrior thought to herself, lowering her head to the ground to carefully touch her nose to a bouncy green grass stalk. The smell of the grass was sweet and like honey to her reddish, wet nose.
After spending a few moments sniffing the grass, she opened her jaws and outstretched her tongue ever so slightly to pluck the greenery from the dry, grayed earth. Curling her tongue, the warrior safely tucked the grass blade in between two of her off-white canines. Raising her head, the StoneClanner was struck by the peculiarity founded in the silence of the Little Woods. While the sounding of birds in other parts of StoneClan territory was not a cause for alarm, the Little Woods was spotted with brown and green trees. There were plenty of places for birds to hide or live and to not hear them around was quite out of the ordinary.
Aspenfrost took a few quiet and sturdily placed paw steps forward, unsheathing her claws fluidly as she moved and crushing the green that she once found beautiful. Pure gold ears perked forward to try and hear any sound; anything that might indicate that she did not need to be worried. "W-Who's there?" the StoneClan feline meowed loudly, the hitch in her voice only caused by disuse of her voice. It is either ... another cat or dangerous animal, the black spotted she-cat quietly told herself, trying to simplify the situation and prepare herself for what she might face.
