Description
Summary: Handsome orange-brown tom with dark stripes and spots and bright yellow eyes
Even as a cat who hasn't quite fully developed, Leopardpaw is a good-looking young tom. His body is built for climbing as well as defense, but he isn't too burly or large that he becomes overpowering. His face is angled and shaped like that of a full grown tom and his white whiskers poke out far from his face. His nose is a dark shade of red and is surrounded by a layer of black that fades into his fur. As for his pelt color itself, he is a mix of many shades of tan, orange, and light brown, giving him just the start of his leopard name. Adding to the effect of his name even more so, he is covered in both black and dark brown spots and stripes, ranging in size and shape. His face, legs, and tail are primarily accented with stripes while his torso is covered in large dapples. The back of his ears are a dark brown, his eyes and chin are lined with white, and his eyes themselves are a bright shade of yellow.
Personality
When Leopardpaw was younger he was known for his very troublesome and playful personality. The sheer amount of times that he got scolded and swatted across the head for pulling some scheme is countless. He has earned his fair share of lectures, but this never turned him into a bad or hateful cat. After he became an Apprentice he still showed signs of his behavior. He would skip trainings and avoid his mentor, going off to explore. But after the incident with his father(in history), something changed.
He started looking forward to training and always arrived on time to meet with his mentor. He stopped complaining when he was assigned a duty that wasn't so pleasant and even started doing things on his own without being told, such as getting prey for the Queens, replacing the Elder nests, and hunting close to camp whenever he could. He seemed to have earned a sense of responsibility and was turning into a dutiful young student.
Now, a few moons away from becoming a Warrior, Leopardpaw has turned into a charming fellow. He is respectful towards those that are older than him and holds the Leader, Deputy, and Medicine Cats on high regard at all times. He still does as he is told and trains every chance that he gets, sometimes not being seen all day when he goes to train. He has developed some pride as well, but not the kind that makes him seem stuck-up. He merely becomes proud of himself and cheerful when he is praised. But he also tries to hide his bouts of excitement with politeness and subtle pride. Despite all of this, there is one thing he is known for that has gotten him in trouble many times. He has a natural need to help others when he believes they need help, whether it be emotional or physical. He will often ask sensitive questions and pry into others' lives that he doesn't need to know about. He is always shoving his nose into business it doesn't belong in, but he can't help it.

Rustwing and Robinflight had been mates for a long time. Unlike some other cats, they had developed a strong bond with one another and weren't often seen apart for long. They previously had a litter of two kits when they were still somewhat new to Warriorhood, but they weren't sure if they would have any other litters. Low and behold, while their first litter was getting close to becoming Warriors, Robinflight learned that she was expecting again. Around the same time that Dawnpaw and Sandpaw became Warriors, Robinflight had a litter of 5 kits. Very surprised by this, Rustwing and Robinflight almost felt like new parents all over again. They had been able to handle two kits relatively easily, but five? That was a bit more difficult. And it showed, unfortunately.
Oakkit, Acornkit, Briarkit, Hawkkit, and Leopardkit were all very friendly and playful, but each of them had their own quirks that would need trained out of them if they were to become Warriors some day. Leopardkit was the most troublesome kit of the litter, though. He was always sneaking away every time his parents looked away and getting himself into trouble. There were many times where he either tried to sneak out of camp, get into the Leader's den, or hide in the Warriors den. But the absolute worst time was when he had sneaked off and managed to get into the Medicine Cat den while they were out gathering herbs. When they returned, Leopardkit was found rolling in a giant pile of herbs that, unknown to him at the time, went from being in neat piles to being completely mixed. You can only imagine the amount of scolding and swats to the head he earned for that one.
When he became an Apprentice, Leopardpaw, as said before, still acted the same way he did as a kit, only now he had more freedom. He would avoid training, would complain and whine when he got put on a boring task, and would always go out to explore the territory by himself. But, at around 8 moons old, he started to notice something strange, as did the rest of the clan. His father, Rustwing, was starting to act very odd. Usually he was always volunteering for patrols, going out to hunt with Robinflight, and was hardly ever seen sleeping in the Warriors den. But recently he was hardly ever leaving the den. He would always be sleeping or just laying in his nest, not talking to anyone. When he would be confronted about this, he would grow aggressive and lash out. At first everyone thought that this was just a bout of mood swings or something was just on his mind. But everyone became very concerned when Dawnpool tried to talk to him once and received his claws right across the side of her face. Luckily, he hadn't hit her ear or her eyes, so he didn't cause any true damage, but he did leave three gashes in her cheek that would likely scar. Now there was constantly a cat assigned to keep watch on him. He had been fully willing to lash at his own daughter over nothing, so they had to keep an eye out on him until they found out what was wrong. Finally, one night he took his attitude change too far. Robinflight was in camp, having not been able to sleep very well. Leopardpaw found that he wasn't able to sleep either, so he went to join her, but stopped. He watched firsthand as his father Rustwing charged out of the Warriors den straight towards Robinflight, claws unsheathed and fangs bared. Leopard let out a loud and frightened yowl, stirring his clanmates just as Rustwing tackled his mate to the ground, slashing his claws at her wildly and not even using any thought or logic in his attacks. He was quickly tackled to the ground by two other Warriors, pinned to the ground quickly. Robinflight was taken to the Medicine Cat den and Lionstar was called. Having attacked both his daughter and his mate, Rustwing was chased from the territory and banished, sentenced to be attacked himself if he was ever seen on Treeclan territory again.
After that, there was a change in Leopardpaw, but for the better. He started going to all of his trainings, never complained anymore, and even did good deeds on his own time without being told to do so. Watching his own father attack his mother and try to kill her right in front of him had caused him to see things differently. Now, whenever asked what caused him to change, Leopardpaw will likely say that he vowed to himself that he would never be like his father.
