Please take the time to read through our Newleaf Announcement for how our five Clans will be merging into three, led by our current active leaders (Silverstar, Owlstar, and Clovermask/star).
We also have a territory contest where we're challenging members to come up with what the Clans' territories will look like after disaster strikes! Prey and badges are among the rewards for participating!
Happy New Year! After the tumultuous year 2020 brought us, staff have decided to extend the December hiatus into January!
High ranks are not required to meet their usual post quota, and you are still free to roleplay, but things may be a little slower around the site!
Staff are recovering from the year as well, so please be patient with us, as it may take some time for us to accept applications and update things. Let's make 2021 a great year for Fate!
** Special Note: Another predator will be spotted in the valley in the coming days. Keep an eye out for the next batch of the Tooth & Claw event!

Sorry these are so long, I have so many ideas. x'D And, I also included a map based kind of on one of the ones Justice made to sort of give an idea visually what my thoughts are.
And, as evidenced by the map, I think it'd be interesting if we made our new gathering place the Sandy Plateou.
Clan Name: GorgeClan, ThornClan or RockClan. For Which Group? TreeClan/StoneClan. Why? Any meaning behind it? (Optional but helpful) I think it would be very interesting if StoneClan/TreeClan's territory was TreeClan's territory and a little bit beyond, pushing up the slope of the mountains and into some pine forests. I'd love if the Earthquake caused a ravine to split not StoneClan's territory, but the forest itself. There could be fallen trees that form a bridge over the ravine, and perhaps this could be where their new camp is located, down at the bottom of the ravine somewhere. They could build a thorn barrier at either end of the camp to protect it. They could be named for the gorge which they relocate in, or they could be named for the thorns that protect them from danger. Within the ravine there could be cracks and small caves in the side walls (what used to be an underground system of burrows and caves below TreeClan's old territory) that they use as dens. Some dens would have to be climbed to in order to be reached, but the dens for elders and kits should be lower down so they can reach it easily, of course. Theoretically, both TreeClan and StoneClan camp could be destroyed in the Earthquake, and since StoneClan's territory is so open and barren, they weren't able to find anywhere within their territory to settle. We could have them try to take refuge by the lone tree for a while, but perhaps they were left too open to attacks from birds of prey?
Clan Name: MistClan. For Which Group? RainClan & NightClan. Why? Any meaning behind it? (Optional but helpful) It's supposed to be a meeting of the culture of the two Clans. Mist is evaporated water, but it is also present in the marshes where NightClan lives. Plus, I always felt that RainClan's distance from the other Clan gave them a bit of a mysterious demeanour. I really liked the concepts discussed about a marsh-dwelling, nocturnal fish-hunting Clan. They eat a lot of aquatic prey, frogs, newts, fish, waterbirds. I propose that they settle in NightClan's marshes, but a slightly higher water level makes it so a lot more of the marshland is deeper than it used to be. NightClan cats are forced to adapt to an even more water-based climate than before. I would like to see RainClan's territory becoming flooded to the point where the river is now a lake that MistClan uses as a source of fish. Perhaps in Leaf-bare when it freezes over, they work together to break holes in the ice and try their luck catching Leaf-bare fish out on the lake to stave off starvation and food shortages? I think it'd be really really cool. Also, I like Justice's idea of them perhaps making a camp in the Pineneedle clearing? Or somewhere thereabouts. Maybe they can make a den or two within a hollow log and the rest can be woven out of twigs and branches, like what RiverClan did in the books.
Clan Name: GaleClan. For Which Group? LightningClan Why? Any meaning behind it? (Optional but helpful) I think that GaleClan would suit them a lot more than LightningClan does. Just as their ancestors were named for the air, so they should be. They are quick, alright, but they have a much closer relationship with the wind that blows over their territories than the rare lightning storm. GaleClan still implies that they are quick and fierce, but more suitably describes their lifestyle and territory. I think that with StoneClan moving up out of their previous territory, that GaleClan should take over the non-mountainous lower slopes of it. The open stone fields. Especially if they give up the open forest to TreeClan/StoneClan so they can sustain their numbers. The open, treeless expanse of the stone fields makes sense as a territory they can claim, or at least a section of it. I think that the crystal creek and the stream that once divided StoneClan and LightningClan should be cut off, perhaps as the earthquake shifts the land it creates some kind of artificial dam that redirects the water, or perhaps it disappears underground. That could be taken almost as a sign from StarClan that "this land is yours now" and GaleClan can begin hunting there. I don't think they should claim ALL of StoneClan's land, though. The upper mountain slopes going up towards the Tribe could be considered part of the Tribe's home (if we decide to keep the Tribe) as they are mountains.
Now, the above map isn't as good a concept as the ones already been put forward, but I digress. x'D
You may ask, "hey, where is the water going when it meets the gorge? Well, I have two words for you. Underground, river! I would love to have it so that a waterfall forms at that point, but instead of flooding the ravine, there just so happens to be a tunnel network at that point that swallows up the water, forming a river that flows further underground. VERY dangerous for any cat that falls down that waterfall, they would surely drown.
"What is the purple area?" You ask? Well, hypothetically speaking, I think it'd be interesting if the Tribe on occassion used that area when prey was running low up in the mountains, ensuring that the Tribe encounters the other Clans more often but without conflict. I don't think the Tribe necessarily claims "territory", they just kind of live, so they probably wouldn't mind if Clan cats went there. But since StoneClan moves away from that area in this scenario, I think it'd be most interesting if the Tribe started to make use of the lower mountainous areas.
Clan Name: FogClan For Which Group? NightClan & RainClan Why? Any meaning behind it? (Optional but helpful) Ever since the movie "The Fog" that word sounds dangerous, mysterious and thus seems like a fitting name for this group. It accommodates NightClan's unrevealing nature and RainClan's history with water. Also rain at night might result in fog.
Clan Name: CoalClan For Which Group? TreeClan & StoneClan Why? Any meaning behind it? (Optional but helpful) well... *shrugs* there's wood coal (tree) and black coal (stone) dunno if cats know this ofc.
Clan Name: LightningClan For Which Group? LightningClan Why? Any meaning behind it? (Optional but helpful) they are happy with their name.
